I took a letterman jacket to Manor Cleaners 1) to have 5 patches sewn on for $67 and 2) to be cleaned for $50. It took a week and a half, which I thought was pretty good. My daughter picked it up. When she got home, we noticed there was a note about stains that couldn't be removed. I am absolutely certain that there were NO STAINS when I dropped it off, just minor dirt on the cuffs and neckline from wearing it. Upon inspection, it appeared that some sort of liquid was used on the jacket, which caused the red wool to bleed into the white embroidery. (See pictures.) Luckily, the damage was confined to 3 white letters, and not the rest of the embroidery, which is gold, black, and green. So, I was able to rescue the jacket with a little bit of bleach and a lot of patience. Unfortunately, my daughter already paid for the dry cleaning ($50!). Had I seen this before, I would have asked to speak to someone right away. We shouldn't have to pay so much for something that was badly damaged by the business. 1 star for the "dry cleaning" - Would not recommend! 5 stars for the patchwork read more

Over the years I have heard many stories about the wonderful services Manor Cleaners has provided. Now it's my turn to share their kindness. Three months ago we purchased a large flag to fly on our property. It was beautiful, unfortunately a nearby tree branch was trimmed leaving a sharp branch. Within a day the flag had a large cut on it getting, larger with each wave. Thinking the American flag might be ruined we took it to Manor Cleaners, who also has a wonderful seamstress. The owner Paul, who has the great ability to remember you by name, wasn't even phased by the cut on the flag. He offered me two options for repair. Paul gave me a quick pick up date and when I asked how much the repair would be he said, "We don't charge to fix American flags!" Wow, I was blown away... Last year I received a varsity jacket from the cleaners. It was quite expensive but what do you expect from a small shop in Fallbrook. It was an amazing jacket and they did super well on it. But once I came in to get a couple patches sewn on I was told a specific date to come. Once I did they had said that my jacket wasn't dry enough to sew the patches on. I brushed it off as a simple mistake, then the day of a meet I came in (Friday) to pick up my jacket. He had said that the person who usually sewed on the patches wasn't there. But I had come in almost a week early to get these patches on. He put on the patches in 10 minutes causing me to be late to school. Although the service and quality is good the time management could use some work. read more

Amazing how they can clean and refresh upholstery cushions. Every few years I bring in my 4 cushion love seat to be cleaned. Not only do they remove any grime, but they somehow plump up the cushions to the point that they look brand new. Paul oversees the process and always does a great job. Don't waste money on having your upholstery cleaned by a carpet cleaning service. I did unsatisfactorily 2 times, till I found out how great Manor Cleaning was. read more

I have been here over the years and there always seems to be an issue with the items I take in. One major thing that I absolutely hate and seem to forget every time I go there to drop items off is that they attach garments to hangers using large pins that leave holes in my garments. Any pair of bottoms I have taken there gets returned on a hanger with giant pins in the garment and I can no longer resell these items because of the holes. (Pictures provided.) I also recently had an item returned to me with more staining then when it was delivered. I was told that they weren't successful in removing the original staining (the original staining was gone but whatever they did to treat the skirt completely ruined it. Pictures provided.) I had already paid for several items to be treated and picked them up and this was the last item I was waiting on. I was shocked they didn't offer to give me my money back and was so fed up with the carelessness that I left without asking for a refund. This is not the first time I have brought items in and paid for my items upon picking them up only to bring them home and see the staining still remained. I have gone back to get my money back but this time around was the last straw. Also $37 to remove a few micro mildew stains seems entirely too steep. NEVER GO HERE. read more

Dropped off my summer dress white shirt for dry cleaning. Had some discoloration on the collar and a rust stain on the back that I know was a big ask and I wasn't too worried about. When I got the shirt back, not only was the rust stain not gone (I knew it would be tough) but there was another similar stain on the shirt. Luckily I was able to get this out with a tide pen at home. Inspection is in 48 hours otherwise I'd ask for a repeat clean. My creases that I had previously ironed into the shirt were also taken out. I really wanted to like this place as it's so convenient and on my way to do other errands, but will probably not go back unless in a pinch. read more

ABOUT LETTERMAN JACKETS - not dry-cleaning service. This business sells letterman jackets for Fallbrook High School students along with services for attaching the patches/letters. Wanting to support a local business, we inquired about purchasing one on November 24, 2021. We were told they would be available in a few weeks. Several follow-up phone calls and over two months later we still had no jacket. After speaking with a very curt Latina woman who informed us they had no idea when they'd be getting the jackets, we gave up on Manor Cleaners and ordered ours online. We had our online jacket in three days and took it to Vega Tailors in town to attach the patches and are very happy with the outcome. To add insult to injury, Manor Cleaners finally called us (over nine weeks after our initial order) and LIED about the jackets they received, claiming they did not receive any of the size we ordered. Ironically, a friend of ours (who ordered her son's jacket less than 3 weeks prior) was sold exactly the size we had been waiting for. Additionally, another friend of ours who had been waiting even longer was also LIED to in the same fashion. We realize that the current state of affairs in the world has made labor and supply chains unreliable, but that is no excuse for DISHONESTY. The employees are so friendly (both in person and when I've called on the phone) and are quick to help employees. I've never bothered with entering a review on Yelp or any other site, but I feel compelled to do so now. Paul the owner of Manor Cleaners is nothing short of AMAZING! Their work is consistently great. As a handicapped senior person I've relied on my cleaning service to do both my laundry and dry cleaning for years. Then I moved to Fallbrook, I was referred to Manor and was impressed with their attention to detail. If they can't have clothes ready at scheduled time I normally get a call letting me know so I don't waste a trying in and then he offers to have them delivered. Personally, I've never taken him up on this as I can wait another day and I'd like to help him control costs, that's a two way street/relationship folks. He always alerts you if upcoming holiday and different hours of operation and closing due to high temperatures. That for his staffs benefit and he should be commended for that caring approach. And finally I truly appreciate that when Paul see me pull up he comes out to my car and either picks up or delivers my laundry & dry cleaning to me. My daughter arrived from the East Coast one week before her wedding with her bridal gown in seemingly unrepairable condition from an alteration-gone-wrong in Virginia. This place is perfect. Service is excellent and timely. The staff is always friendly, but fast. They also have onsite seamstresses so you can get things measured and altered. New to Fallbrook, we looked for a Dry Cleaners to have my very expensive suede and fur jacket cleaned. After reading reviews, I opted for Manor Cleaners. At first I thought the quoted price was a bit high ($55), but in all fairness, I had no point of reference. When I picked up my jacket, it was beautiful. The gentleman pointed out to me that there was a lightly discolored spot, wear I sit on the jacket (hardly noticeable), and offered to dye it free of charge. I love this mom n pop place. There's something great about going to a place where they remember who you are and what the usual is...mine is my dress pants for work. I like to get them dry cleaned and the price is nice $4 bucks a pair and they do them in a timely fashion. Sorry to say a super bad experience. My beautiful jacket from Sak's was crisp and white with couple spots on the back when I brought it in. Went to get it today it is grey white with huge yellow stains on the front and the sleeve, it is not crisp, or pretty, it is trash ($500. jacket) The man was indignant and said I had to have brought it in that way, (I am sure I would have known,) then a St. John jacket seems to have lost its texture and resiliancy too, and a beautiful white cardigan came back grey white, just awful, also missing a new pair of pants that matched a jacket I have never worn..ok this place cost me thousands, they are nasty too and admit to nothing, I am so disgusted. read more
