I will never go to another Tailor, I had got a tux for my wedding and they messed up everything. I had a size 38 in pants even though I'm a 34 they also gave me my tux only a day before my wedding. I was freaking out and didn't know what to do. I thought I was not gonna be able to wear my wedding tux, then comes Vega's Tailor shop. I came in thinking there's no way it would be done in time, but I was wrong the minute they found out about my situation. They added the necessary urgency to get it done in less than 24 hours my pants fit me perfectly and I looked great on my wedding day! Stopped by to have some pants altered. Walked in and waited for a few minutes no one was at the counter. I heard someone in the back so I rang the bell. I waited another few minutes and rang the bell again. I waited another few minutes and left. The whole time I heard someone just behind the counter out of view very close. I know they heard me. Great spot in town to get your clothes altered! Vega is professional and easy to work with. He understood what I wanted for my dress and it came out perfectly. Mine was $35 to shorten the length and to adjust the length in the front where the sides open diagonally to show my legs below the knee. He can be very busy during wedding season so you can give him a call too and ask when the best time to come in. I would come back here in the future. read more

He's also very friendly and made sure to ask questions so that I got what I wanted. I came here since I live in the area and Mark was super helpful and very accommodating. I brought in a real suede skirt and I was pretty picky about having the alterations. Mark was super patient and knowledgeable with alterations. I told him a deadline for which I wished to pick up the skirt and sure enough, he was ready by then. The 5 star reviews are there for a reason. Vega's is easy to find right on Mission Road. Mark was very accommodating -- I brought in 2 dresses that had complicated cuts to be taken in. I dropped them off on Monday and asked if he could have them finished by Friday. He said it wasn't a problem. I picked them up Friday morning, they fit great, he charged me $28 flat for both, a great value. No credit cards, cash our check only. I've been using this tailor shop since I moved to Fallbrook 3 years ago. Today I picked up a my Nic & Zoe top that had a small hole (about 12 inch) right in the lower front. If you're familiar with the brand you know how delicate the fabric can be. I can't find where Mark fixed it unless I use a magnifying glass. He's done very good work for me regarding hems, etc. but this is the first time I used him to mend something. Unbelievable!!!! read more
