Over the years I have heard many stories about the…read morewonderful services Manor Cleaners has provided. Now it's my turn to share their kindness. Three months ago we purchased a large flag to fly on our property. It was beautiful, unfortunately a nearby tree branch was trimmed leaving a sharp branch. Within a day the flag had a large cut on it getting, larger with each wave. Thinking the American flag might be ruined we took it to Manor Cleaners, who also has a wonderful seamstress. The owner Paul, who has the great ability to remember you by name, wasn't even phased by the cut on the flag. He offered me two options for repair. Paul gave me a quick pick up date and when I asked how much the repair would be he said, "We don't charge to fix American flags!" Wow, I was blown away... Well, the flag is flying high again, you can't even tell where It was repaired. Manor Cleaners, if I could give them 10 stars I would!

I took a letterman jacket to Manor Cleaners 1) to have 5 patches sewn on for $67 and 2) to be…read morecleaned for $50. It took a week and a half, which I thought was pretty good. My daughter picked it up. When she got home, we noticed there was a note about stains that couldn't be removed. I am absolutely certain that there were NO STAINS when I dropped it off, just minor dirt on the cuffs and neckline from wearing it. Upon inspection, it appeared that some sort of liquid was used on the jacket, which caused the red wool to bleed into the white embroidery. (See pictures.) Luckily, the damage was confined to 3 white letters, and not the rest of the embroidery, which is gold, black, and green. So, I was able to rescue the jacket with a little bit of bleach and a lot of patience. Unfortunately, my daughter already paid for the dry cleaning ($50!). Had I seen this before, I would have asked to speak to someone right away. We shouldn't have to pay so much for something that was badly damaged by the business. 1 star for the "dry cleaning" - Would not recommend! 5 stars for the patchwork

Extremely disappointed in the customer service here. I spent quite a bit of time researching…read morecleaners with good reviews because I wanted to make sure my clothes would be properly cared for. Although it's a bit of a drive for me, I ultimately chose Cleaner Cleaners based on their reviews. My initial experience was great. Drop-off was smooth, and the customer service was pleasant. Unfortunately, after picking up my clothes and getting home, I realized that one of my pairs of slacks had been damaged. There were shiny marks imprinted all over the fabric that were not there when I dropped them off. I brought the pants back to show them and asked whether the marks could be removed. I was told they could not be fixed. At that point, I asked for a refund for the $10.50 cleaning service. The response I received was, "For what, cleaning them? We don't guarantee a result." I found that response incredibly disappointing. I was only asking for a refund of $10.50 for a service that resulted in my pants being permanently damaged, when realistically I would have expected a business to offer to compensate me for both the cleaning and the approximately $60 pair of pants they damaged. Instead, they refused the refund and offered no apology whatsoever. I was also sarcastically told to "call the pants manufacturer" because supposedly the fabric was the problem. If they believed the fabric could not safely withstand their cleaning process, I'm not sure why they proceeded with cleaning the pants in the first place. I also dropped off the exact same pair of pants in a different color, and those came back completely fine, so that explanation doesn't make much sense to me. Mistakes happen, and I would have been much more understanding if the situation had been handled with basic accountability and customer service. Instead, I left with damaged pants, no refund, no apology, and a dismissive attitude from the business. Overall, I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. My biggest issue isn't even that the pants were damaged -- it's how poorly the situation was handled afterward.

But the first thing I noticed was a sign in their front window indicating that they care about the community and the people in it by offering a service that I've shared a photo of in this review. Pressing my two outfits elevated them, and I really appreciate how much nicer they look. Weeks later, I brought Seyed a cherished stuffed toy that needed some "maintenance." He handled it with care and expertise, and I can't wait to regift the stuffed toy to my future grandchild. I highly recommend Melrose Cleaners for all of your garment needs.

BEWARE: This is not a dry cleaner, as advertised. I brought my wedding dress there to get some…read morelight dirtying of the train cleaned. They were supposed to have my dress done 9/4 but did not complete it until today - with my wedding this upcoming weekend. They wet washed a beautiful $6000 Alexandra Grecco gown, a buttery soft silk crepe. It now looks like it is tie-dyed with stains, only a few patches of the original ivory color showing through. It also feels like cardboard now, the buttery softness completely turned to starch. It is legitimately unwearable. I am at an absolute loss how absolutely idiotic it was to wet wash it when I asked specifically for dry cleaning. And it is clear with that material type and the gown type that you would not just throw it in the wash. We can tell it was wet washed because the hook is now rusted and the soft crepe feels starchy. And, the staining is all over the gown, even in the lining underneath. There are also at least 7 snags on the dress, and black marks all along the bottom. They tried to tell me that because the "dress is old" it should not have been cleaned. However, Alexandra Grecco did not even start making dresses until 2014, so its wild that they think this dress was an antique. Also - if you have reservations about its ability to be dry cleaned TELL THE CUSTOMER! Don't just ruin it!! I genuinely don't understand how they could mess this up that bad but DO NOT use them for anything, ESPECIALLY anything you care about or need dry cleaned. Then to keep the dress weeks after the original date it was supposed to be completed gave me NO TIME TO FIND A NEW DRESS. These people are terrible. Buyer beware.
