I have been going back to the laundry for a few months after an incident that happened there. The new owners are doing a much better job at keeping the machines fixed and working on improvements. They recently added an additional table. I did deduct 1 star because there are still ADA issues. I use my wheelchair to carry my clothes in and then sit while being cleaned. Most of the dryers are not easily accessible unless I push tables out to get through. Today (4/12/26) while getting my clothes out their attendant pushes the table back blocking access out from the dryer until I had to push it back out. I do push them back out of courtesy but have seen others have issues getting into the dryers due to being on a walker, a came or in a chair. Also you have to lookout for businesses coming in and using all of the larger washers and EVERY single dryer that's open. read more

Everything is fine but my complaint is that the parking stalls are designated for drop off but not everyone complies like we do.

Our new apartment has an in-unit stacked washer/dryer combo, which is great for our daily laundry needs. However, when it came time to clean our fairly large, handmade, patchwork blankets, I searched for a good, clean laundromat. I thought of Manoa Laundry because I used their facilities many years ago when I briefly lived in Manoa. Checking on Yelp, their average rating is 2.4 based on 103 reviews as I write this. However, I see that they recently changed ownership, and have several new machines and a new payment system, where credit cards can be tapped. This sounded like my kind of place, as I dislike withdrawing cash from the ATM and changing for quarters, which I had to do while we lived in the Ala Moana area. My wife and I brought two of our blankets to test clean. (We'll have an even thicker Korean one to clean later.) The facilities were as clean as described, and there were several machines to choose from when we arrived this morning. I did find it confusing trying to follow the step-by-step instructions on the 3x washer I put the blankets into. I was confused about how to scan my credit card. I asked the gentleman who was cleaning up there, and he showed me how to use the machine to load the laundry card, something I had never used before. I opted to register my card by inputting my name, phone number and email, since I planned on using their facilities again in the future. Later, I had to ask again about how to work the controls on the machine. After starting the washer, we went around the marketplace to find something to eat. When we returned, I walked over to check the washer and it was just finishing. So I knew enough by that time to work the dryer. We went to Safeway to pick up some groceries, and the dryer was done when we returned. (I received a text alert to that effect.) I wouldn't say we had a great experience, but it was a good one. And much better than any of the alternatives I knew or heard about. Of course, we will be back. read more

MUCH BETTER! New management took over. They replaced the card system which was half the battle for me most days. The new card readers are quick. They are now cards that you tap instead of swipe. There is still a weird pause between paying for each 5 minutes but that can't be helped. They will transfer whatever balance you have on your old card into the new style laundry card for you. Only one washer down - all the other ones were in full working order. I am happy to highly recommend them again! read more

I've been washing my clothes at this location for years now, and Tim and Karlee (new management) have made significant improvements overall! Prior to the change, half the machines were out of order, and there were rarely ever employees on site. However, I'm leaving this review to share my recent experience - I forgot half a load of laundry in a washer and did not realize it until I got home! I texted the owners at nearly 9pm in hopes that someone may be on site to check if my clothes were still there: they responded in less than 10 mins saying they were nearby and could check for me. I've been going to Manoa Laundry for the past few months or so, and I've been thoroughly impressed with the changes that new management brought! A bunch of machines were replaced, the card payment system was upgraded to tap, new rules/signs were put up, and the owner pops in/out, greeting guests and helping troubleshoot any problems that come about. I feel great about doing my laundry here now with the new owners. I wish the prices could be a bit lower, but it's Hawaii and everyone's gotta make money read more

Cleanest laundry place in the safest neighborhood. I would definitely recommend doing your laundry here if you need to.

Pricing and convenience is great. However over the years this place has become anything but convenient. 90% of the time at least 4-5 washers are broken and half the dryers don't work. If everything was well maintained and in working condition this place would be great. read more

The new owners have upgraded every part of an already decent laundry. That makes it a very nice, clean nothing broken wash option.

AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!! Nearly none of the machines work, especially the dryers. I've got a number of partially used payment cards, specifically for this business. I accumulated these back in the heady days of this business having machines that generally worked. That was a long, long time ago. For the last 8 months or so, I've popped in to use them, by hopefully doing some laundry. Today was my most recent attempt. A slow, Thursday afternoon. There were 4 dryers that work currently and even though there were only 5-6 people in there, there was a line waiting for one of the FOUR functional dryers. I'll probably keep checking this place out sporadically, just to burn off the money I've already spent on cards, but it'll be with the full expectation that I'll just have to go elsewhere to get the job done. And that's it. These guys have had months to fix this. And they haven't. Despite the conciliatory auto response to each accurate review, I'm guessing they plan on keeping it this way. Ok, so I just had a full on meltdown at this laundromat this early Sunday morning. I came to wash a few loads of towels despite all the recent poor reviews here on Yelp. I've been a patron of this facility since I was a kid and just thought the reviewers were exaggerating. HOWEVER, when I arrived there was a dude (who was clearly a vendor) folding a ginormous pile of towels on two of the folding tables. ACK! My Yelp PTSD kicked in. I went to load my laundry and so many machines weren't operable. Those Yelp PTSD alarm bells starting chiming in my brain. Finally, I found not one but two machines I could use. Phew! Then I went to add value to my card and it ATE my $20 bill. I freaked. There was a review saying that the machines eat money without adding value to the machine cards. NOOOOOO! I lost it. My Yelp PTSD went into overdrive.... I smacked the machine, shook my fist at it, and smacked it again. Of course, my feeble little fists made zero difference... so I called the number on their "policy" poster. While shaking my fists at the security camera like a total nut job. I got a quick response by text but did not know who I was texting with, which is always strange. So, I was now aggravated AND suspicious.... Suddenly I received a call from "Tim" who identified himself as being someone from the laundry mat. He said he was on his way and got there within 10 minutes. Ok, that's is GREAT customer service. He found me waiting outside in my ball of emotional overreaction and immediately calmed me down and took care of my issue. Turns out he and his family have just taken over the laundry mat and have been the new owners for the last 3 weeks. They have big plans for improvement and live in the neighborhood. My Yelp PTSD has been subdued and I feel confident in saying this place is "cleaning up" Give them a little time and I'll bet things will be running smoothly! read more

We tried the Fluff and Fold service and was not disappointed! Their pick up and delivery service was awesome! My corrupted laundry card (has just added $5) was supposed to get refunded according to gal answering phone number posted. Never did get that money . Just added to the frustration of constant washer out-of-order signs. Yelped other businesses. Kapahulu laundrymat had plenty stars. I'm now here and can testify it's a cut above. Absolutely the worst business as the owners have not fixed most of the machines for months. Just tried to go since my washer is broken, and there was a commercial person doing loads of sheets and towels. Not one washer was available, but since half of them are broken it was no different then the last time I went, last Sunday night. This place used to be a really good place to do laundry. Absolute piss poor maintenance half of the appliances don't work or are broken. You would think the owners would take care of a business better than this. I have been doing my laundry here for years. It looks like it's going to be time to find another please to do my laundry. This laundry mat is not what it used to be. Been here twice different times of the day a month or two apart and they have a fluff service who uses the whole table and the guy with tell you no no no with his finger because he is using the whole table. Only 4 dryers working and people have to wait because the fluff service is using it. Do not recommend for now until they fix their dryers, also their prices are really good and it's clean cleaner than before. I'll be back if the dryers are fixed. read more

It feels like over half of the washers and half of the dryers were out of order on a Tuesday! There is also no attendant on duty. What a sad place to be. I was so excited to hear that there was a laundromat in a vibrant mall. This place does not match the other tenants here. I use to love this Laundromat however over the last couple of months it's been the worse. 50% of the machines are broken or out of order. They look like they have upgraded there signage recently but every time I come less and less machines are working. Tonight only about 8 dryers are working out of 20 - SMH.... When our washing machine gave out, we were checking for a laundromat where we might do the wash. Stopped in here on two Sunday mornings, and determined it was not going to work out, due to the number of machines out of service. On the second visit I actually counted and determined that 1/3 or the washers and fully one-half of the driers were marked as out of service. With only a handful of machines working, you're going to have to find off hours to be able to grab a machine and get your wash done. Granted that the place appears to be fairly clean and safe, but that doesn't do any good if you can't find a machine to use. read more

Now that we have moved back and decided to wash our big stuff and hopefully see our Ohana, I am terribly disappointed in the upkeep of this establishment. 8 broken washers. This place is a nightmare. NO HOT WATER. They have over 25 broken machines. Only a handful work. Never any employee or owner present. Card refill machine is broken or can't connect to internet. They have turned off the hot water to save money. All machines have only cold water. This place should be closed it's so poorly maintained. read more

I like this laundromat cuz it's cheaper than most other laundromats I've been to. It's usually not too busy. My only complaint is that for "Out of Order" machines, they stay out of order for quite some time. I've been coming here for about 5 months and the same washers are out of order and today, there are 22 dryers and 11 are out of order. I hope it doesn't stay that way, cuz there's now a line for dryers, because there are more people washing than drying. Please management, fix those machines read more
