Service- 5 stars Ambiance - 3 stars…read more I have been a patron of Aloha Dry Cleaners for several years now. They offer one of the most efficient dry cleaning services on O'ahu. I am always greeted with care and warmth whenever I am dropping off my business attire and have never been disappointed. The only downside to this location is that it's always congested. I'm not a fan of visiting Ala Moana mall so if you come to this location , I'd make a trip out of it. Get a bite to eat, do some shopping and maybe run around Ala Moana park.

Just received our laundry back from Tama and highly recommend!…read more Between all the beach activities and the heat, my husband was going through his clothes rapidly on our trip to Waikiki. Our hotel did not have laundry facilities so we sent our laundry off to Tama and it all came back clean, fresh, and neatly folded. I really appreciated how the underwear and socks were bagged separately. You can pick what detergent you want and they can accommodate for allergies. The turnaround time is defaulted to 48 hours, but I called and Brian was so friendly in changing our order to rush service along with explaining how pickup and drop off works. Got all our clothes back in 24 hours. We left our bag with the bell desk and did not have to wait around for the pick up/drop off. The online interface was extremely easy to use. Of course you are paying a premium above using a laundromat, but it is worth it while on vacation and for hassle-free service.

While the household recovered we for the first time used a laundry service and I'm so glad we decided to give Tama a try. Service is great and on time with up to moment tracking with pick up and delivery. I wish they had a self drop off option since times offered for my area were a bit inconvenient. Clothing was well cleaned, smelled wonderful, and perfectly folded. At this price point for us it is a bit of a luxury but such a lovely one I'm sure we will wind up using them again.

I went to get a new laundry card from the machine but nothing came out after paying. A woman walked in and helped another customer that had the same problem before me. The other customer had told me the same thing happened to him. Nothing was said to me from the staff about it, I ended up pressing the help button on the window and asked the woman after trying the second machine to get a laundry card and getting an error. She said it was because it was a duplicate request. Once the woman gave me a laundry card after messing with the machine and confirming I had paid, I recommended they put a sign on the machine saying that it may have issues with dispensing a new laundry card. She rudely responded that it just happened and that she just got there. She could have simply just said, "Thank you, apologize for the trouble" or something like that instead of giving me attitude. When I went to use the dryer machine, I couldn't figure out how to add more than the minimum time onto it, so I had to ask another customer and you need to swipe the laundry card again to add an additional 5 minutes onto the time. You need to repeat this process over and over again to reach the desired time, mine was about 40 minutes. Seems like a lot of process just to get my clothes dry. Sorry Kapahulu Xpress, you missed the mark this time and I don't believe I will return or recommend this business to others based on my experience. Hopefully this will be a lesson learned to help make the experience better for other customers.

The prices are very reasonable - it's $5 in quarters for the smaller washing machines and $6 for the larger ones, with each wash lasting about 25 minutes. Drying costs around $5 for 45 minutes in the large commercial dryers, so you can expect to spend about $10 to wash and dry a full load of laundry. The facility is clean and well-equipped with a quarter machine, a handwashing sink stocked with soap, plenty of rolling carts to move your laundry, and spacious folding stations. There are benches for seating (although one chair was broken during our visit). They also offer a wash-and-fold service, and it was great to see the staff carefully folding customers' laundry with such attention to detail. This is an excellent option if you're visiting the area and your hotel doesn't have laundry facilities. As an added bonus, there's a 7-Eleven right in front and a delicious Vietnamese pho restaurant next door, making it easy to grab a bite while your laundry is washing. Parking can be a little challenging because there aren't many spaces, but spots open up fairly quickly as customers come and go. Overall, this is a fantastic laundromat with friendly service, fair prices, and everything you need for a hassle-free laundry day.

BEST LAUNDROMAT IN TOWN!!…read more If you're looking for a reliable wash-and-fold laundromat, this is the place to go. It's tucked away in the corner between 7-Eleven and Pho Mai Han, so there's plenty of parking available which is always a huge plus in Waikiki. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the friendly staff, and the entire process is incredibly easy. Simply drop off your laundry, they wash and neatly fold everything for you, and you pick it up when it's ready. The prices vary depending on your laundry, but they're very reasonable especially for Waikiki. The team is fast, efficient, and meticulous with handling your clothes.
