    The staff here are amazing and I can't thank them enough. Huge shout out to Caleb for making my dreams come true and being SO patient with me. You guys are awesome. My only complaint is that after I bought the car I did have to spent about $900 in parts (plus several hours of my own labor) on Intercooler hoses, alternator, and belt tensioner within the first week. But after that, the truck was solid. I had an idea while I was checking out the engine bay but I didn't realize I'd have to immediately drop that much money. Overall, service is great, but if you come here please bring a handy friend or mechanic to inspect the vehicle before you purchase.

    **Day2 It's very telling that instead of resolving this matter privately and professionally, Rick, the owner of Manic Motors, decided to take over my review and publicly "defend" the dealership. In my original post, I included copies of my email communication with Brock, showing every attempt I made to handle this situation respectfully and directly. Rather than acknowledge those facts or take accountability, Rick chose to respond publicly with excuses and half-truths, which only makes the business look unprofessional and defensive. A reputable dealership would have apologized and followed through on its promises instead of trying to argue with a customer online. His public response doesn't solve anything, it only proves how unwilling Manic Motors is to take responsibility or do what's right. After seeing Rick's public comment trying to "resolve" my complaint, I want to make the facts clear. You have had possession of the vehicle since August 20, 2025, after it suffered a complete engine failure only a few weeks after purchase. The engine seized due to no oil/ low oil pressure caused by a spun piston, which was diagnosed by your own mechanic. Despite that finding, no repairs were ever completed, and the vehicle has remained in your possession. You also initiated and completed a loan buy-back with Westlake Financial without my knowledge or consent. I discovered this only after contacting Westlake directly. Even after that cancellation, you have continued to withhold my down payment and now publicly admit that you are conditioning its return on me signing a "hold harmless" or release agreement. To be clear, I have never refused resolution. I've simply refused to sign away my legal rights or accept terms that are neither lawful nor ethical. I have already filed formal complaints with the California DMV Investigations Division, the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and the Better Business Bureau, who are now reviewing your handling of this transaction. I stand by my experience and the facts. I hope this situation serves as a reminder that consumers have rights and deserve to be treated with honesty, respect, and fairness. Day 2 for Yelp. Updated photos with email messages with Manic Motors. Below are the actual email exchanges between myself and Manic Motors. These messages are copied exactly as they were sent and received, nothing has been edited or altered. They clearly show how the dealership handled my situation, including their written statement threatening to "treat it like a repossession without refunding any money," even though they had already canceled my finance contract and kept possession of my vehicle. I'm posting these so there's no misunderstanding about what was said or how this situation was handled. This is my real experience as a consumer, backed by direct written correspondence.

    There mechanic dosent go threw the car when they get them,they just sell them and you deal with the problems

Key information regarding financing and add-ons was not clearly explained upfront, and the overall process felt misleading rather than transparent. Going forward, I will not allow the dealership to communicate directly with my wife regarding any transactions or financing matters without my presence. Given how the deal was presented and finalized, this boundary is necessary due to the lack of clear and straightforward communication we experienced. This has significantly impacted our trust in your dealership. Additionally, we were told that the bank required the purchase of an extended warranty in order to receive a better interest rate. This representation felt misleading and reinforced our concerns about the sales tactics used during the transaction. Based on this experience, we are genuinely concerned about any future visits or interactions with your dealership. Our expectation is honest, direct, and transparent communication--something we did not receive.

    WARNING: DO NOT BUY HERE…read more I bought a new car (2024 honda prologue) last year. when I bought the car, it had some paint missing on the bumper, where the headlights are. I told the technician at Tracy Honda and they gave me a paint pen to touch it up. At ~7k miles, the paint got worse and started to chip away more. I contacted American Honda to get it fixed because the paint on the bumper was coming off and I could see the rubber seal of the headlights sticking out, they connected me with Walnut Creek Honda. When I got the car back from WC Honda, it came with the headlight still put on wrong. I mentioned it to the technician, that the headlight rubber was still visible and they told me that it was normal. I also mentioned to the technician that the back lights look like they are on wrong due to the empty space on one of the headlights, he said it was normal. A weeks later as I was washing my car I noticed that the light on the back of the driver side started to shake, but when I went in the daytime, it didn't shake. I went back to WC Honda and told them about the front & back headlight to the technician & he basically told me that it was not his problem. I called American Honda again, and they told me that I have to find a dealership that will accept the warranty and fix the car. I also saw that the dealership charged me 6k dollars more on the lease papers than stated by word. Very Shady Dealership
