Pad Thai Egg Rolls (2 PC)

It's a small mom and pop shop. It has a few areas for sitting but I see this as takeout only. The egg rolls were amazing! I went with the Pad Thai but it was definitely missing something. It could have been seasoned better and a little spice would have taken this dish a long way. I went home and doctored it up as it was dry in my opinion. The service was great and they were really nice.

A great place to get authentic and reasonably priced Thai food! My favorite is their Tom Kha noodle soup. Generous serving and very fresh. Their fried rice choices also are good! Very popular among the neighborhood as there are many pick up food services as i have observed!

10 stars! I'm visiting and my hometown doesn't have any (good) Thai restaurants within 50 miles. This hit the spot that I've been craving for months. I got chicken pad Thai and crispy spring rolls with perfect crispiness. Super friendly staff as well! Highly recommend! :)

This is probably one of my favorite Thai restaurant in the entire north Dallas area! I say that because I haven't try some restaurants in Haltom which I also bookmarked. The restaurant is small-- they only have like 8 seats, so dine-in is limited. I see most people come in and order take-outs anyways. They serve in to-go boxes as well, so if that might be a miss for some. But I highly recommend giving them a try because their food are delicious! The tom kha soup was flavorful, the pad thai and drunken noodles are perfectly cooked (chewy texture) and the noodles didn't break apart easily like some Thai restaurants. Their spice level (1-5 Thai spicy) could be a little higher, as I got hot (level 4) but it tasted like medium for me. Corn patties were okay for me, it tasted like a lot of batter instead of corn, but my boyfriend really liked that. Asides from that, the flavors were all on point as one of Thai restaurant I tried in LA, and prices/portion were decent as well-- $11-13 each dishes. I'd HIGHLY recommend this small authentic Thai place run by a couple!! Because that's how how you know it's legit! * Corn patties ($7.95) * Chicken Tom Kha Soup ($5.95) * Shrimp pad thai ($12.95) * Chicken glass noodle pad thai ($10.95) * Shrimp pad kee mao/drunken noodle ($12.95) * Coconut milk tea ($4.95)

Finally tried the hole in the wall near me. It's nice that they have some indoor seating and it's not just takeout. Ordered the Pad Thai, Red Curry, and drunken noodles. The Pad Thai was better than most I've had, but the other two dishes were unremarkable. The service was friendly but I kept asking for things that were no longer on the menu, so I've taken the liberty of sharing the updated menu here. Over all, I prefer Thai Thai, Tom Yum Thai, or Bangkok on Beltline to this place. I'd like to come back though to try the Thai tea.

Ordered from here on doordash and I am sooooooo glad I did! I got the Thai tea with no ice which was amazing! I also got the pad see eew with combo meat (pork, chicken, and shrimp) and added mushroom (spice level: hot). It was so yummy! Will definitely be ordering again!

Old white rice and bottom of the rice cooker. Not fresh at all.

03/14/2023 I have ordered here in the past and had a couple of issues, but didn't bring to attention as it wasn't something I wanted to rate poorly on the restaurant. The food here was very delicious, but today was not! I ordered the Panang Curry with Beef. I made a note to add potato and have white rice. The curry did not have any carrots (which is part of the original ingredients) or potatoes (which I wanted added), however pineapple was added, which was plain gross. I love pineapple, but in the curry didn't not taste great! The flavor of the pineapple permeated thru out the dish and didn't have a good taste to it. For the white rice, I would expect fresh rice, since the restaurant opens at 11am, you would expect the rice to be fresh. It was not! It looked like old rice and the bottom of the rice cooker. (Being filipino and cooking rice many times, I know what this looks like.) I want to like this place, but after this order, I will be finding another Thai place, hopefully it won't break the bank.

Great new Thai restaurant really close t our work! We are so excited to have a private owned restaurant by such a great family! Friendly, professional service and delicious 5 star food, desserts and boba! My favorite is their mango sticky rice and taro smoothie with boba! Highly recommend! Chicken lettuce wraps were fresh and delicious! Better than PF Chang's! Cute, clean and well decorated! Thank you and we will definitely be back soon!!! Yeehaw 5 stars

Food is good but too pricey. I paid for myself and two other people and we marked up to $70. Three dishes and two drinks.

When we walked in, the hostess had a poor attitude and was off putting. Unfriendly and borderline rude. We made sure to get there as soon as they opened because we knew it would be dead, and we'd have better luck at quicker service. Unfortunately, they sat us outside because we had our ESA animal in an enclosed carrier after grilling us about what services he performs, and I believe we were forgotten about since we were the only ones on the porch. It was a very warm day with high humidity. I asked the hostess if she could make sure the fans were on since it was so hot, and she asked, "So, you want me to turn them off?" We only ordered two apps of Roti Canai, one order of the twice friend wings, and an order or the donuts (all were ordered at once to help speed things along since it was so hot outside.) It took quite a while, and the wings came out soggy and cold, which is not the norm. A thunderstorm was coming in, and we had been waiting on our donuts for at least 20 minutes at this point. My husband informed the hostess that we would have to either cancel the order or move inside since it was about to start raining. She flippantly said that she would have to ask the manager first if we were allowed inside. We were so turned off that it really ruined the experience, and it was not the way we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day. The donuts finally came out (also cold), and I had my husband just give her the credit card without the check so we could hurry up and get off the porch before it started coming down. We rushed through the dessert and left. Not loving our experience and not sure if we'll be back until the attitude and service changes. We're bummed because we were always a fan of this place until now.

I ordered the Thai wings, and when they arrived, I immediately noticed an unpleasant smell. I took one bite and sent them back. They had no real flavor, and the smell made them hard to eat. I then got the crispy chicken sandwich. It was somewhat salty, but it also tasted like it had been fried in old grease, which left a bad taste in my mouth. My wife ordered the fried ribs. After asking for some sauce to go with them, they actually ended up being the best thing we ordered. Even so, the lingering aftertaste still reminded us of old grease. The drinks were decent, but overall this is not a place I would come back to or try again.

Food Malaysian Roti- (2 pc, 9.5$)- 9.5/10 Was perfectly flaky and crispy. Came with a flavorful curry dipping sauce. Chili Garlic Edamame- (8$)- 7/10 Everything you would expect. However, it could have more of the chili garlic sauce. They do give you a complementary tray of spicy sauces (including chili oil), so this was not a big deal. Korean Twice Fried Wings- (5 for 14$)- 10/10 Wings were large, so one was the perfect appetizer for a single person. Coated in a heavenly gochujang garlic glaze. Nice and saucy while still being very crispy and juicy. Was my favorite dish we ordered. Pad Thai- (16.5$)- 8.5/10 Came with a fried egg, shrimp, and chicken. Had a hint of spice that elevated it from good to great. Curry Laksa Ramen- (16$)- 9/10 Very flavorful curry broth. Noodles were excellent and also came with tofu and a boiled egg. There's large windows running around the perimeter of the building, so you can see into infinity and beyond...as far as the parking lot and nearby stores go lol. Since it's close to the Lunar New Year there's extra decor they've placed both indoor and outdoor, which is really cool to see. When it comes to food, they have an extensive selection to choose from. I really enjoy that they have a lot of photos to reference in their menu, especially for people like me that like to get an idea of what I'm ordering. During this visit I ordered their salmon vermicelli dish (Ca Hoi Nuong) , pork belly spring rolls & their Nem Chua Heo aka "vampire meat" I found over in their grocery area. Everything was made fresh to order & absolutely delicious. The vermicelli dish is quite huge portion wise, so come hungry or plan to have leftovers. The spring rolls were to die for. I've never had pork belly spring rolls and just loved the crunch from the skin bits they added in there, the moistness and rich flavor of the meat, chewiness of the rice paper & really well made peanut sauce. I'm so tempted to drive back over there just for those. The nem chua was also good, but just good lol. It's very similar to salami in taste if you've never had it before, but has a slight sweetness to it. I must warn that it is on the spicier side once you eat it as intended with the garlic & chili on top so have a drink ready. Overall I think this was the best $30 I've spent in a while. I can't wait to come back.

Bistro B has always been super well known in the Vietnamese community. Growing up, every time I would come-I would get the basic pho and spring rolls. I haven't been since 2017 that I've gone and now I have a friend who's a super adventurous eater like me, so I got to choose around the menu. The menu blew me away because what place has a Vietnamese household's traumatic childhood staples like bittermelon soup?!? This entire meal was incredibly nostalgic and heart-felt for me especially since I haven't been back to Vietnam since COVID has happened. This is truly the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant that I have ever been to. Food ordered; - 707. Periwinkle in Spicy Tamarind Sauce (ỐC HƯƠNG SỐT ME): I have never seen a Vietnamese restaurant with snails before. I remember eating this all the time in the streets of Vietnam. The sauce and Vietnamese coriander were incredible along with the snail texture. - 23. Asian Crepe with Shrimp and Beef (BÁNH XÈO TÔM THỊT): It tasted like a solid definition of what Banh Xeo is supposed to be. The size of it though is insane to me. I've had Bánh Xèo at other restaurants-which are made to normal sizes, but this size is insane. Definitely ended up being leftovers. _ 119. Angel vermicelli served with grilled pork, and roast pork belly (BÁNH HỎI THỊT NƯỚNG VÀ HEO QUA): It tasted like how it is supposed to take. Definitely great dish as well. Portion size is also huge as well, so leftovers as well. Drink order: 413. ARTICHOKE BOM - NƯỚC MÁT (Artichoke Drink, Jelly, Basil Seed): I often get artichoke tea, so I was super excited to show my friend who has never had this before. It was way too sweet for us, but adding water into it definitely made it better. BTW, he ordered the durian smoothie which also tasted good, but it was less naturally tasteful than other places. Overall, this is the best authentic Vietnamese food I've had in a very long time. If you're an adventurous eater, I would definitely recommend trying something different other than spring rolls, pho, fried rice, or chow mein. Everything is super acquired though, but I truly do recommend if you're opened to it. ALSO, this has also been the best service I've ever had at a Vietnamese place. You don't come in ever expecting service. However, the lady who took care of us brought us new fresh plates for our new dish which shocked us especially as servers from an upscale restaurant. Water did take a while to refill, but the change of new plates blew us away. Thus, the food, service, and the super authentic and nostalgic ambiance definitely was an amazing experience. We are definitely coming back for more snails and other dishes!!
