I asked about the Singapore noodles and the nice cashier described the ingredients but failed to mention the curry, which I usually omit. It was brought to me by a young lady who I observed walk away from the front counter to blow her nose. Now unless the handwashing sink is in the kitchen, she did NOT go to the restroom and wash her hands. The stickiness on the table could not be wiped off-even after asking the cashier to clean it. The a/c is on the way out; probably needs freon, so the dining room was not comfortable at all. Enough for at least 2, the combination noodles were fresh, hot, and full of fresh veggies. The beef was a little weird, as it had a strange film or coating, as did the chicken and shrimp. The noodles were chopped, not sure if the was intentional. I didn't mean to, but apparently I ordered an all cabbage egg roll as there was not a smidgen of protein in it. A star was loss for no evidence of hand washing. read more

I ordered Kung Pao chicken with fried rice. It was delicious. The egg rolls that came with the lunch size were greasy. It was apparent they had not changed the oil they were fried in lately. I also ordered crab rangoons, and they were stale and oil soaked. I could not eat them. read more

My family and I have come to the Shiny Wok for years, typically at lunch time. We always order the same thing. Moo Goo Gai Pan, Orange Chicken, and Teriyaki Chicken. Today, we were disappointed. The ONLY thing going for this meal is everything was hot. All three dishes were flavorless! The Orange Chicken breading was soggy without the tang you normally get. This is the closest I have found in my food experience to Los Angeles Chinese food thus far. Let me tell you the portions are huge. You get great value for the dollar. The food is quite tasty. It is family run. The son is often out front running the order counter. The interior is clean and well kept. They have a great selection for items for you to choose from. I had the garlic chicken. Clean & tidy interior, six small tables with 4 chairs each. Order & pay a cashier. I requested all veggie lunch hour special: $6.77 also, I requested low sugar. I was amazed the cook actually came out from kitchen to personally verify my order! Impressive. Got it to go, it was in a plastic 2 piece microwavable container! Stayed warm on ride home. Did not lose moisture. Good amount of food: Broccoli, snow pea, water chestnut, carrot slices, bok choy. Cooked thru, and flavorful in light sauce. No onions helped with overall flavor. I've gotten takeout here multiple times and it is so good!! I tend to be really picky with my fried rice, but their fried rice here in excellent. I'd recommend giving their milk tea a try too! It's one of the only places around where you can get both good food AND boba tea delivered at the same time. It saved me the trouble/money of ordering from 2 different places. read more
