Just awful. Everything was gross & not your typical Chinese food. The honey seared chicken arrived dry, looked like hunks of chicken with beer batter, like you'd see in sweet & sour chicken. 1/29/19 - We ordered for delivery. We used to live in the Dallas/Addison area and had Chinese delivery, so we were expecting about the same type of service (more than 30+ minutes for delivery). From the time we placed our order to when it was delivered to our door, was 20 minutes. AND THE FOOD WAS PIPING HOT!! Which no other Chinese or any other restaurants can compare. The person who took our order, was very friendly and she even delivered our food. We ordered the following: Hot and Sour Soup: I did not have any, but the husband raves that it was delicious. Lettuce Wraps: I also did not have any, but it looked delicious...and the husband couldn't stop eating it, so suffice to say that it was delicious as well. Crab Rangoon: First, I want to say at other establishments, we have ordered this appetizer and they all fall short. This was very crispy and not soggy at all. If I could give one criticism, would be there is no crab. What we had was all cream cheese. It was tasty, but I was looking for the crab. Egg Foo Young, with Shrimp-which is not included in the Egg Foo Young, it is in the sauce. The sauce was very tasty and had just the right amount of salt. The egg patties were a little different for me, as I am used to having the shrimp and bean sprouts cooked inside. Szechuan vegetables with Beef: This was delicious, had a ton of vegetables and slices of beef. The sauce was so flavorful. It is a small little whole in the wall kind of place, we were more than happy with our order and will definitely order from them again. Terrifically efficient heater next to the door in winter. Mood TV is nice but non-intrusive. Fountain drink machine replaces canned sodas. I would come near giving it 4 stars if it weren't for the one-off occasion where they're out of something odd. "We're all out of dumplings (potstickers)" or "We can make Kung Pao but we're out of peanuts"?? I LOVE SHINY WOK! It's a few minutes from our house and they deliver but we usually pick up our order. The food is amazingly good. They make their own hot mustard in house and it's to die for. Haven't had anything we didn't like so far. The food is fresh cooked and piping hot. It carries well for delivery and the people working the counter are great. The portions are excellent and two people can eat dinner and in my case, lunch the next day for under $20. We called in our order this time and we were told it would be 10-15 minutes, so we arrived on time but ended up waiting another 15-20 minutes because it wasn't ready. Not a huge deal though, very nice people. They offered a free water cup for my daughter. the prices are normal for Chinese food however it was pricy for being such a small portion. If I'm paying $10 I would like a little more bang with my buck. The only really negative thing I can say is that I didn't much care for the " egg roll". The egg roll was wrapped in a flaky crust like most spring rolls are made of. It was soggy and just not very good to be honest. Me and wife ate here for dinner yesterday and it was excellent. We got 3 egg rolls and they were good but they brought out homemade duck sauce and it was very good. It was mintier than duck sauce out of packet and had the consistency of applesauce. I really enjoyed it. I had the cashew chicken and my wife had the sweet and sour chicken. Both portions were large. The cashew chicken was great. You could tell it was made fresh and the sauce was different than most others I have had. The sweet and sour chicken was good it was not overly sweet like most you get and the chicken was tempura battered instead of breaded like most restaurants,which made it that much better.
