I would have never expected this place to be located in a gas station but here she was. Ok they had some flavors that really intrigued me. Unfortunately I only have one mouth and belly. The lady at the stall came out and personally tried to guide us through their menu to help us make a decision. We settled on the pataya tea because I wanted something refreshing. It didn't disappoint. I actually gulped it down in a few sips it was refreshing on this hot Texas day. I also choose the Korean strawberry fresh milk. It reminded me of a really light creamy milky strawberry milkshake with fresh strawberries, yummy. They also give a 15% discount on gas for your purchase. I will support this business because I loved the ladies energy and they have quite a few flavors I must try. This place is no longer called the Pearl Café. It's now called "Freckles". The teen that cooked and served us was an hour late to work and apologized for not being set up. I ordered a berry crepe with strawberries and blueberries and supposedly there was crème cheese/cheese cake filling. It was so sweet I couldn't eat it. By chance I went to this place. While I was asking for crêpe, this lovely young lady offered me taste of 4 different ice creams. Although all were very good, I loved the malai with nuts. The crêpe was fine but next time I will have a plain one with just powdered sugar. I will go back for malai ice cream. Simple ambiance, and service was excellent. read more

This stand is inside a corner store. It's a pretty little shop with the BEST boba teas. Literally had 4-5 back to back. Staff is so sweet and friendly. This place is a proper hole in the wall if there ever was one! It's inside the gas station, so I feel like it's easy to miss, but don't! Think they have some unique drinks with equally good taste and quality thats worth your time and $$. I got a Hojicha w/ boba and 25% sweet and a Dirty Biscoff Dalgona w/ boba. I will say the 25% sweet was still a little too sweet for my mom, but I presume the boba was probably to blame for that. Other than that, the hojicha itself was nice, nutty and creamy! It came with whip cream, which we could do without, but overall a solid 7/10! The dirty dalgona biscoff had a good balance of the biscoff butter and the whipped coffee flavor. The boba added another layer of sweet goodness, but I think the drink can stand on it's own as well. I am a sweet tooth, so yes it was definitely sweet, but they did say most of their drinks can be customized to be at least 25% less sweet. Now, for the main portion, which is the quality of the boba. The boba had just the right QQ texture, not too chewy and not too hard. It had a great flavor, though I'm not sure if it was sweetened in a brown sugar syrup or just simple syrup. Either way, it only added to the quality of the overall drink and that is all that matters in my book. I would definitely recommend this place, especially for Mesquite and Sunnyvale locals as we are in a literal boba desert, except for a one or two shops across the area. I can't wait to try some more of their drinks and deserts soon! read more

I drove 35 minutes to try this place out . I arrived at 9:10 and their hours are 5:30-11 pm . I get down and was looking at the menu one of the workers a woman looked at me said nothing .
