Randy was super easy to work with and we were able to pick 3 flavors to serve to our guests. I will also say that for us to have Bobaddiction to drive up to Plano and serve via their food truck, the pricing was amazing!! They came during our cocktail hour, and our guests were in love!!! They raved about the boba truck to us throughout the night and said it was one of the best things to have at a wedding ever! I LEGIT HAVE HUNTED DOWN BOBADDICTION FOR 3 SOLID STRAIGHT MONTHS. Can we get a boba truck tracker or something so I know exactly where to be!?! Then again, the hunt for this truck is SO. WORTH. IT. I almost screamed with excitement when I saw it for the first time at Frisco Street Eats back in the spring and I'm pretty sure I RAN towards it. Saw this cute food truck outside of the Arts District on the day of Lunar New Year. Even though it was cold that day, I still wanted to try their boba drinks because I've read some good things. Also, how can you resist the cute panda staring at you? The guy was super friendly. He gave me a sample of the honeydew milk tea, because I couldn't decide on what to get. I never like honeydew, but this honeydew was good. I ended up with the classic milk tea with boba and rainbow jelly anyways. Not horrible if you are looking to get a bubble tea with nothing else around the area (like SMU's campus). Their standard milk tea has an odd flavor added to it (something like coffee) and I couldn't really taste the tea in the drink. The strawberry black tea lost the tea flavor by being too dilute. However, their boba seems to always be well cooked and has some slight sweetness added. I really liked the lychee green tea and the jasmine milk tea. The vietnamese coffee is very good as well, thick, strong and sweet. The boba itself was good, nice and chewy with a slight hint of flavor. However, these were $4 each and they were pretty small! They looked a bit smaller than the regular sizes at other places. I understand that food truck food is always more expensive that the actual store ones. OK so I just tried their location in Arlington! It's on UTA campus hiding INSIDE bombay chopstix lol. Honestly wish that it was advertised more bc there are so many boba drinkers here. Bombay just had a small sign on their door. They only have several flavors but the main flavors are there. I got the lavander milk tea w boba. Really liked it!! The boba had nice consistency and the drink was very floral tea based, not too much condensed milk or sweetener thank god. I haven't found a place in Arlington that made floral tea the way I like until now :) will definitely be back especially bc they said they'll have the duel drink cups soon. We've been playing catch up in Dallas when it comes to food trucks. In the past few years we've made some ground, but there has been one glaring omission to the food truck scene. That is, until now. I can't begin to say how happy I am that a mobile boba joint is finally making its way around town. I live in Lewisville so I would usually have to drive 30 minutes East or South in order to get a legitimate cup of boba. Sure, there are other places that are closer, but why waste my time and money? I've visited Bobaddiciton at Vitruvian Park a couple of times and that has cut my driving in half. I gotta say, the flavors they serve are top notch! My favorite flavors are Taro Milk Tea, Vietnamese Coffee and the Classic Milk Tea. For the most part, the drinks here are well balanced and I haven't had one that was overly sweet, one problem that almost every place serving boba tends to commit. I'm originally from Hong Kong and I haven't had a milk tea drink that has reminded me so much of home like how these drinks have. I even like their Honeydew variety and I Hate (with a capital H) honeydew. All their drinks are amazing! Oh, I can't forget the boba. Before Bobaddiction, Fat Straws had the best of these chewy balls (teehee) in Dallas. After trying Bobaddiction's drinks, I think that they have matched Fat Straws in consistency, quality and taste. The boba is subtly sweet and very soft, but not mushy by any means. They've done their homework and it shows in the awesomeness that is their balls. I was able to talk to all three of the guys running the truck and they are great fellas. They are passionate in their craft and are eager to talk to their customers when they find time between the waves of customers, anyway. Great people making superb drinks. Boba food truck. Simple. Brilliant. With some great flavors and decent boba, I definitely understand and agree with the love for this little food truck. The adorable graphics don't hurt either. My friends and I went to MKNC on a Friday night because the truck was there and we really wanted to try them. In the midst of staring at the side of the truck (menu of flavors), the kindly worker stuck his head out and offered us multiple samples of the flavors. I decided on the classic milk tea with boba. I'm only a fan of the tapioca pearls sometimes and theirs wasn't the best but it was alright, My favorite thing about my drink was that it wasn't too sweet. Most places nowadays, I always have to order a quarter/half sweet but Bobaddiction has got it down. I can't say that I found the $4 worth it for the cup of boba but I still want to find the truck again and try their shaved ice. And probably get the drink without the pearls. read more

Bobaddiction is definitely my favorite place for Boba Tea... and guess what? It's on wheels and is mobile! I'm such a fan, it's probably not even cool how much I'm here.. the owners and employees know me by name now... *no shame*. The fast & friendly service here is notable because I always see a smiling face greeting the customers and a drink ready within seconds since Bobaddiction brews batches of their teas to have immediately ready and they only brew 9 tea flavors daily due to space (10 if you count the Tea of the Week). I really enjoy all the flavors, and each time I see the truck I'll always be craving a different tea. Can't make up your mind? Bobaddiction lets you sample all the ones you're interested in-- this is the ONLY boba tea place I know that does this. I love/hate this idea because at the end of the samples I end up wanting multiple drinks, hehe! I appreciate the fresh ingredients in their teas. I don't know any other place that puts fresh fruit puree in their tea drinks-- you'll perhaps find fresh fruit in smoothies at certain shops, but never in tea. The best part is that the fruit actually enhances the teas - they complement well with the lychee, mango and passion fruit extracts/syrup they use and make them taste fresher, more vibrant and very unique. The bobas (bubbles, tapioca balls, pearls) have the perfect texture and is not too hard/not too soft. Their boba also has a unique flowery honey flavor. I've had too much either mushy boba or boba that wasn't cooked all the way through, so I'm very happy that Bobaddiction pays special attention to their namesake, the almighty boba! NOT JUST BOBA TEA! Bobaddiction has Shaved Snow with fresh fruit, and I always get the Mixed Fruit since it's an assortment of different goodies. I love the shaved ice because it's so fluffy and tastes delicious with the condensed milk. I also can't wait for them to start serving Taiwanese style tapas. The owners let us know that food options will be coming soon. I loved listening to the description of the potential new food menu and cannot wait to see what's in store for the new year. The Bobaddiction truck was parked outside of my college around lunch time today, so, being the boba connoisseur I think I am, I stopped by to check it out for the first time. I ordered one of my usual preferred drinks, a Passion Fruit Green Tea with boba. I decided to get a small since it was my first time trying it out. The small ended up being a whopping $4 even which is not, in my experience, a typical price for a small size of one of the most basic boba drinks available. Most places I've seen generally offer a small flavored green tea for around $3.25 and a large for $3.75. Since I'd already ordered though, I figured I'd just have to get over it and hope that the drink was worth it! Unfortunately, in my opinion the purchase wasn't worth the price. If this had been the freshest Passion Fruit green tea with the tastiest, most perfectly prepared boba, I wouldn't have been as bothered by the price. Sadly though, that wasn't my experience. The tea itself was good and seemed reasonably fresh, it wasn't too sweet or to bitter. But it still wasn't anything to write home about. The boba though, was not cooked well nor was it especially tasty. It didn't seem like it had been cooked all the way through at all and took more chewing than good boba should. When I walked up to this food truck at the Arts District one night, I was greeted with two challenges by the cashier: 1) "Try as many samples as you want!" 2) " We have the best boba tea in town!" Challenge #1 turned out to be true, as my drinking companion and I both slurped down about 4 samples each, trying out milk tea, lychee iced tea, vietnamese coffee and boba balls, with the cashier patiently handed up tiny cup after tiny cup and explaining its flavor profile to us. From there, Challenge #2 was validated for me. I ultimately chose the original milk tea with boba, but everything that I tried was on point in terms of flavor and texture. Milk tea is silky, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, lychee iced tea is refreshing, light, and crisp, and vietnamese coffee retains its exotic and spiced flavors. Bobas here are made with honey, which gives them a subtle sweetness. The chewiness of it is just to my liking. Al dente...if that is a thing for boba. Judging from the shaved snow photos, these guys really nail this menu item as well. Unlike other shaved ice/snow places in town, whom present you with a dangerous-to-your-mouth bowl of shards of ice, the snow here looks like, well, fluffy new snow. I've had that at least a dozen times, and what stands out is how they don't use powder (like some places do) but use real jasmine tea. The sweet, distinct and floral taste just sings to me. Their boba is what I prefer: chewy, soft and a very light flavor. Finally, I tried the shaved ice for the first time and it satisfied my sweet tooth. I recently had their apple tea, which is a rotating flavor and perfectly tart. Their fruit teas are refreshing, while their milk based teas are creamy, but not too rich. You can ask to sample all of the flavors - they don't mind. The guys are so friendly! I asked the cashier about their process and he said their teas and boba are made daily. There's even real fruit puree in the fruit teas! That's dedication! It's clear that the guys take a lot of pride in their unique tea blends and it shows through the product. The flavor is what some call "golden milk tea" (tastes like the one at Bethany's in Arlington and Tapioca House in Richardson). Our guests raved about how delicious the boba tea was, the lighthearted fun the concept was, and how friendly the owners were. We clearly underestimated how much our guests would rave about the tea; they consumed all the tea in a matter of a few hours.
