Got to try their boba yesterday as part of the Japanese festival at the Fort Worth Botanical Garden. We ordered the strawberry boba tea and the mango boba tea. Each came with chewy boba and a little jelly boba. The ratio for us was perfect and the drink itself hit the spot on a warm day. Service was fast too, we got our drinks handed to us almost as soon as we put our order in. Thank you for the awesome drinks! read more

The Bobaddiction truck is a great spot to get boba! Tried the Piña Colada Milk Tea - it was super sweet, something I enjoy here and there lol. Also got the Mango Green Tea with rainbow jelly - it wasn't sweet at all but super refreshing and I could taste the fruitiness. I had heard mixed reviews about this place, but I wanted to try it for myself and personally, really enjoyed it. read more

I tried their truck location a couple years ago at AKON and was not impressed, but decided to give them a second try since they had a new store front and are one very few places that serve boba downtown. I went on a weekday afternoon so the line was minimal and the service was decently fast. Jasmine Milk Tea - surprisingly good, a bit too sweet for my taste so I will probably ask for less sweet next time. The tapioca had nice chew and flavor. Overall I had a good experience and will be back next time I'm craving some JMT around this area! Tip: Don't forget to get a stamp card! read more

Not a full 5 stars because the wait time to get a drink was agonizing. Also the price point was meh. My friend and I were waiting in line for about half an hour since we were visiting downtown Dallas a month ago, for the DMA Late Night event. There was literally a smorgasbord of citizens roaming about, SO crowded. Anyway! To the juicy stuff. The boba teas were mostly limited by the time we ordered. We ended up getting an almond milk tea and a Vietnamese coffee milk tea. Mine (Viet) was delish! Strong but smooth flavors that cooled me down quickly. Hers was alright, a bit on the bland side, and she wouldn't order it again. I concur. I do recommend going here if you're in the Dallas Arts District area, but otherwise, the teas here are SEVERELY overpriced that it almost made me cry. Dallas needs to learn a thing or two from Houston's boba game... A little cup should not be $5... Come here if convenient, otherwise, its not worth. read more

My company brought dessert trucks to our campus this week for a special celebration. I was excited to try this place out. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee. It was good and not too sweet. My husband and I knew we wanted boba at our wedding. Like c'mon.. Who doesn't like boba?? Well, we heard a lot about Bobaddiction so we decided to drop by. We met the owner, Randy. He was very friendly and let us try as many boba flavors as we wanted. The flavors had the right amount of sweetness and the boba pearls were soft - exactly what we were looking for! So a few days later, Randy drew up a contract. We made 2 payments before the wedding. Very easy! We had a total of 3 food trucks at our wedding and guess which one was the most popping? Bobaddiction! Randy came right on the dot and lines were already forming! Definitely going to use Bobaddiction again at another event in my life! read more

I knew I wanted to have boba at my wedding, so of course I searched around DFW and saw that Bobaddiction does catering!!! I've visited the location in deep ellum, so I knew the drinks were A+. Randy was super easy to work with and we were able to pick 3 flavors to serve to our guests. I will also say that for us to have Bobaddiction to drive up to Plano and serve via their food truck, the pricing was amazing!! They came during our cocktail hour, and our guests were in love!!! They raved about the boba truck to us throughout the night and said it was one of the best things to have at a wedding ever! We actually went over the intended number of drinks, but Randy's team brought extras so we were able to serve everyone who wanted boba! Thanks y'all for making the process so easy! I'll definitely be recommending this to others who are looking to do something a little unique for their wedding! :) read more

Saw this cute food truck outside of the Arts District on the day of Lunar New Year. Even though it was cold that day, I still wanted to try their boba drinks because I've read some good things. Also, how can you resist the cute panda staring at you? The guy was super friendly. He gave me a sample of the honeydew milk tea, because I couldn't decide on what to get. I never like honeydew, but this honeydew was good. I ended up with the classic milk tea with boba and rainbow jelly anyways. This drink was also very good, and can be very refreshing during summer time. The boba though, wasn't as good as I expected. It was a little bit tough in the middle, and wan't as sweet. I like the bobas from Boba Latte and Tap House a lot more. Overall, I thought the milk tea was great. This is a really cool idea for a food truck. read more

I LEGIT HAVE HUNTED DOWN BOBADDICTION FOR 3 SOLID STRAIGHT MONTHS. Can we get a boba truck tracker or something so I know exactly where to be!?! Then again, the hunt for this truck is SO. WORTH. IT. I almost screamed with excitement when I saw it for the first time at Frisco Street Eats back in the spring and I'm pretty sure I RAN towards it. I had heard so many good things about Bobaddiction and I was SO MAD that I, the world's resident #bobae, had not tried it yet!! I'm pretty sure I bought 2 cups that day. The milk tea is amazing - it's got the right balance of milk & tea and the boba was exactly the way I liked it: chewy, slightly sweet, blends in well with the rest of the drink. It was magic in a cup. I'm pretty sure I fell in love that day. Unfortunately, we had gotten there slightly late in the day so they were running out of drinks :( but I definitely want to come back and try everything else, especially their Vietnamese coffee!! P.S. Bobaddiction comes to UTD a few times a week, so if you need your fix and don't want to hunt them down like I did... there's your tip ;-) read more

What are those black squishy balls at the bottom of your cup?! Boba! They're tapioca balls often found in Asian desserts and drinks. Like fruity flavored tea? Make it a milk tea! This is a great idea for a food truck! They are very generous with giving samples to help you decide which one you want to get. I love how all their drinks actually taste like tea! I really liked the lychee green tea and the jasmine milk tea. The vietnamese coffee is very good as well, thick, strong and sweet. The boba itself was good, nice and chewy with a slight hint of flavor. However, these were $4 each and they were pretty small! They looked a bit smaller than the regular sizes at other places. I understand that food truck food is always more expensive that the actual store ones. If I ever see this truck, I'll go back and get some more but when I'm craving boba I'm not gonna go out of my way to find them. read more

Not horrible if you are looking to get a bubble tea with nothing else around the area (like SMU's campus). Their standard milk tea has an odd flavor added to it (something like coffee) and I couldn't really taste the tea in the drink. The strawberry black tea lost the tea flavor by being too dilute. However, their boba seems to always be well cooked and has some slight sweetness added. Slightly pricey for bubble tea, but I guess the convenience of it in locations with no other options makes it worthwhile if you are desperate for bubble tea. read more

OK so I just tried their location in Arlington! It's on UTA campus hiding INSIDE bombay chopstix lol. Honestly wish that it was advertised more bc there are so many boba drinkers here. Bombay just had a small sign on their door. They only have several flavors but the main flavors are there. I got the lavander milk tea w boba. Really liked it!! The boba had nice consistency and the drink was very floral tea based, not too much condensed milk or sweetener thank god. I haven't found a place in Arlington that made floral tea the way I like until now :) will definitely be back especially bc they said they'll have the duel drink cups soon. Hope it doesn't take long bc i think it'll help them get exposure on campus... yay for a finding a quality, walking distance boba place I can cheer myself up with after taking a beating on a test jk but no really. read more

Bobaddiction - I got them to pose for the pic - Food Trucks Near Me

We've been playing catch up in Dallas when it comes to food trucks. In the past few years we've made some ground, but there has been one glaring omission to the food truck scene. That is, until now. I can't begin to say how happy I am that a mobile boba joint is finally making its way around town. I live in Lewisville so I would usually have to drive 30 minutes East or South in order to get a legitimate cup of boba. Sure, there are other places that are closer, but why waste my time and money? I've visited Bobaddiciton at Vitruvian Park a couple of times and that has cut my driving in half. I gotta say, the flavors they serve are top notch! My favorite flavors are Taro Milk Tea, Vietnamese Coffee and the Classic Milk Tea. For the most part, the drinks here are well balanced and I haven't had one that was overly sweet, one problem that almost every place serving boba tends to commit. I'm originally from Hong Kong and I haven't had a milk tea drink that has reminded me so much of home like how these drinks have. I even like their Honeydew variety and I Hate (with a capital H) honeydew. All their drinks are amazing! Oh, I can't forget the boba. Before Bobaddiction, Fat Straws had the best of these chewy balls (teehee) in Dallas. After trying Bobaddiction's drinks, I think that they have matched Fat Straws in consistency, quality and taste. The boba is subtly sweet and very soft, but not mushy by any means. They've done their homework and it shows in the awesomeness that is their balls. I was able to talk to all three of the guys running the truck and they are great fellas. They are passionate in their craft and are eager to talk to their customers when they find time between the waves of customers, anyway. Great people making superb drinks. Doesn't get any better than that. Keep up the good work! read more

Boba food truck. Simple. Brilliant. With some great flavors and decent boba, I definitely understand and agree with the love for this little food truck. The adorable graphics don't hurt either. My friends and I went to MKNC on a Friday night because the truck was there and we really wanted to try them. In the midst of staring at the side of the truck (menu of flavors), the kindly worker stuck his head out and offered us multiple samples of the flavors. I decided on the classic milk tea with boba. I'm only a fan of the tapioca pearls sometimes and theirs wasn't the best but it was alright, My favorite thing about my drink was that it wasn't too sweet. Most places nowadays, I always have to order a quarter/half sweet but Bobaddiction has got it down. I can't say that I found the $4 worth it for the cup of boba but I still want to find the truck again and try their shaved ice. And probably get the drink without the pearls. read more

Bobaddiction is definitely my favorite place for Boba Tea... and guess what? It's on wheels and is mobile! I'm such a fan, it's probably not even cool how much I'm here.. the owners and employees know me by name now... *no shame*. The fast & friendly service here is notable because I always see a smiling face greeting the customers and a drink ready within seconds since Bobaddiction brews batches of their teas to have immediately ready and they only brew 9 tea flavors daily due to space (10 if you count the Tea of the Week). I really enjoy all the flavors, and each time I see the truck I'll always be craving a different tea. Can't make up your mind? Bobaddiction lets you sample all the ones you're interested in-- this is the ONLY boba tea place I know that does this. I love/hate this idea because at the end of the samples I end up wanting multiple drinks, hehe! I appreciate the fresh ingredients in their teas. I don't know any other place that puts fresh fruit puree in their tea drinks-- you'll perhaps find fresh fruit in smoothies at certain shops, but never in tea. The best part is that the fruit actually enhances the teas - they complement well with the lychee, mango and passion fruit extracts/syrup they use and make them taste fresher, more vibrant and very unique. The bobas (bubbles, tapioca balls, pearls) have the perfect texture and is not too hard/not too soft. Their boba also has a unique flowery honey flavor. I've had too much either mushy boba or boba that wasn't cooked all the way through, so I'm very happy that Bobaddiction pays special attention to their namesake, the almighty boba! NOT JUST BOBA TEA! Bobaddiction has Shaved Snow with fresh fruit, and I always get the Mixed Fruit since it's an assortment of different goodies. I love the shaved ice because it's so fluffy and tastes delicious with the condensed milk. I also can't wait for them to start serving Taiwanese style tapas. The owners let us know that food options will be coming soon. I loved listening to the description of the potential new food menu and cannot wait to see what's in store for the new year. Ahhh, the design of the truck definitely stands out with a lot of contrasting colors, cute designs, and is very professionally done. Get a close look at the front of the truck too, it's so creative! -- Good luck, Bobaddiction-- your teas taste delicious and your truck design is awesome.. who WOULDN'T love a Panda?? :) read more

When I walked up to this food truck at the Arts District one night, I was greeted with two challenges by the cashier: 1) "Try as many samples as you want!" 2) " We have the best boba tea in town!" Challenge #1 turned out to be true, as my drinking companion and I both slurped down about 4 samples each, trying out milk tea, lychee iced tea, vietnamese coffee and boba balls, with the cashier patiently handed up tiny cup after tiny cup and explaining its flavor profile to us. From there, Challenge #2 was validated for me. I ultimately chose the original milk tea with boba, but everything that I tried was on point in terms of flavor and texture. Milk tea is silky, creamy, and just the right amount of sweet, lychee iced tea is refreshing, light, and crisp, and vietnamese coffee retains its exotic and spiced flavors. Bobas here are made with honey, which gives them a subtle sweetness. The chewiness of it is just to my liking. Al dente...if that is a thing for boba. Judging from the shaved snow photos, these guys really nail this menu item as well. Unlike other shaved ice/snow places in town, whom present you with a dangerous-to-your-mouth bowl of shards of ice, the snow here looks like, well, fluffy new snow. Can't wait to try that and will definitely come back for the boba tea! read more

Not only is the idea of a boba truck awesome, but it hangs out outside of Richardson so I no longer have to make the 30 minute pilgrimage. And the best part is- the boba is the most authentic in Dallas. Pearls are perfect, the milk tea flavor is spot on and the fruit teas have fruit puree in them. You can taste before you try too. Bobaddiction is a cute food truck and I love the idea. I was able to try them for the first time at an event in Dallas. The food truck was new so they weren't serving their shaved ice but I loved that they gave samples of their drink. I was having trouble deciding between two drinks and the girl asked if I wanted a sample. Usually boba places don't give out samples because they do drinks by order but I did like the option of being able to try each and they weren't rude about it either. They had let someone sample every single one until they found one they liked. After ordering, they informed us that they were out of boba which was disappointing since it is a boba food truck but it was understandable since the event was busy. I'm looking forward to the next time when I see bobaddiction so I can try their shaved ice. read more

I honestly went to this food truck because I wanted a drink and it was near the agonizing wait line for ssahmbbq. I got a lychee green tea and it came with boba and jellies. I felt like the jellies were more flavorful than the tea itself or maybe my taste buds were off due to waiting. It didn't take long at all for my drink but it was $5 for a large which was made me cringe inside. Other than that, it's okay. read more

The Bobaddiction truck was parked outside of my college around lunch time today, so, being the boba connoisseur I think I am, I stopped by to check it out for the first time. I ordered one of my usual preferred drinks, a Passion Fruit Green Tea with boba. I decided to get a small since it was my first time trying it out. The small ended up being a whopping $4 even which is not, in my experience, a typical price for a small size of one of the most basic boba drinks available. Most places I've seen generally offer a small flavored green tea for around $3.25 and a large for $3.75. Since I'd already ordered though, I figured I'd just have to get over it and hope that the drink was worth it! Unfortunately, in my opinion the purchase wasn't worth the price. If this had been the freshest Passion Fruit green tea with the tastiest, most perfectly prepared boba, I wouldn't have been as bothered by the price. Sadly though, that wasn't my experience. The tea itself was good and seemed reasonably fresh, it wasn't too sweet or to bitter. But it still wasn't anything to write home about. The boba though, was not cooked well nor was it especially tasty. It didn't seem like it had been cooked all the way through at all and took more chewing than good boba should. All in all, I 100% wouldn't pay for boba from here again. read more

I've never written a review on a food truck before but this one is worth writing about. My favorite drink is the Jasmine Milk tea with boba. I've had that at least a dozen times, and what stands out is how they don't use powder (like some places do) but use real jasmine tea. The sweet, distinct and floral taste just sings to me. Their boba is what I prefer: chewy, soft and a very light flavor. Finally, I tried the shaved ice for the first time and it satisfied my sweet tooth. The ice is like snowflakes, no flavor, so the fresh (not canned) fruit and condensed milk stand out well. So far, so good, Bobaddiction! I'll be stalking the truck for tasty treats (and I mean that in a sincere, yet non-creepy way!) read more

I never got a chance to leave a review for Bobaddiction for catering for my daughters' birthday party. Bobaddiction was very easy to work with and super accommodating. They invited me to visit their truck for their tea tasting. We decided on a few tea options, as well as offer shave ice with toppings for our guests. On the day of the event, they were very prompt to arrive at the venue to setup for the bubble tea stations. For the shave ice, our guests went downstairs to where the Bobaddiction truck was parked and got to pick their selection. Finally, boba tea (in TX) that doesn't come from powder. The boba is chewy, soft, and slightly sweet. My favorite tea is the jasmine milk tea, which is fragrant and appropriately sweet. I recently had their apple tea, which is a rotating flavor and perfectly tart. Their fruit teas are refreshing, while their milk based teas are creamy, but not too rich. You can ask to sample all of the flavors - they don't mind. The guys are so friendly! I asked the cashier about their process and he said their teas and boba are made daily. There's even real fruit puree in the fruit teas! That's dedication! It's clear that the guys take a lot of pride in their unique tea blends and it shows through the product. Also, the truck is super cute. Next time I'm in Dallas, I'll be on the lookout for the truck. I still have to try their shaved snow. read more

Viet coffee was on point -- strong and sweet. You get plenty for $4. The bobas are chewier than at Fat Straws and possibly sweeter. Both are great, just different. My friend enjoyed his Jasmine. I noticed that they could not reduce the sweetness of the drink except by adding more ice. Oh well, it still tasted great! Will buy again! read more

Unless another boba place comes up from Houston any time soon, Bobaddiction is probably as good and authentic as you're going to get for milk tea in Dallas. The service is great! They let you sample whatever you want in a small cup before purchasing, which is great for those who don't know what to expect. The milk tea and fruit based teas all taste great. I like their tea over other places the most because you can actually taste the tea in the drink, instead of just syrup. Their boba is also well made, with nice chewy texture and not over or undercooked, and hasn't been left to sit for too long. I have yet to try their shaved ice, but it sure does look good. Wish one day they'll open up a shop in a set location. The truck is a cool idea, but it gets cumbersome trying to track it down sometimes. read more

I was glad they came to my work place so I could try it (they're located too far from me). With such high reviews, I was a little disappointed. -They do run out of drinks. Not sure what determines if they'll make another batch of tea when they do run out. -Customer service is 5 stars. They do let you try as many flavors as you want and were very patient with me. -Milk tea: It's personal preference, but I don't like their milk tea. The flavor is what some call "golden milk tea" (tastes like the one at Bethany's in Arlington and Tapioca House in Richardson). I prefer milk teas that taste like the ones from Bambu, Wow Bubble tea & Snacks in Carrollton, Kung Fu Tea, QQ Teahouse, etc.) -Almond milk tea: Not bad overall. Got it less sweet and it was perfect for me. Wish it had more tea in it (like how Fruitealicious makes theirs). -I do like the texture of their boba (I like mine chewy and not soft). read more

Their jasmine boba is awesome, every time I see their truck outside my school I always go and get one. Fast, friendly, and tastes great.

the truck was out at the arts district for the block party. we came here towards the end of the night so they were out of boba but had mix fruit jelly still. ordered the passion fruit tea. in addition to being out of boba, I think they were running low on passion fruit syrup as well. my tea was way watered down to the point where I couldn't even pick up the green tea flavor. tasted more like, lightly flavored water and not tea. I'm giving it a two star, even though it was towards the end of the night you should still be putting out good product. if you're running low on supplies, use what you have and close up. don't cheat your customers by giving us subpar drinks just so you can cash in on the large crowds. read more

Bubble tea is way to sweet and the bubbles are too soft they don't have that nice chewy consistency at all. Bobaddiction catered our wedding reception. Their presence really was the cherry on top of an unforgettably amazing night. Our guests raved about how delicious the boba tea was, the lighthearted fun the concept was, and how friendly the owners were. We ordered enough boba tea for what we approximated was 1.5 drinks per person who wished to consume the boba. We clearly underestimated how much our guests would rave about the tea; they consumed all the tea in a matter of a few hours.
