I would strongly caution anyone considering this company for their wedding or special event. From the very beginning, communication was a constant struggle. I routinely had to follow up multiple times just to receive responses, and many employees seemed unable to answer basic questions & two times was provided with wrong information. It often took days or weeks to get accurate information, making the planning process far more stressful than it needed to be. The experience became even worse on my wedding day. Despite being told numerous times that my wedding planner was the designated point of contact, the owner called me directly while I was preparing for my wedding to inform me that he was running late. During the call, people were screaming in the background, and when I politely reminded him to contact my wedding planner instead, he abruptly ended the conversation. When the dance floor was installed, I was shocked by what I saw. The subfloor was approximately five inches off the ground with nearly a foot of turf extending beyond the edges. It looked unfinished, unprofessional, and was a major eyesore in the middle of our wedding venue. This setup was never accurately described to us beforehand. When I expressed my concerns and asked whether anything could be done to improve the appearance, the owner rolled his eyes, became defensive, and made excuses rather than attempting to resolve the issue. I requested that the installation be taken apart, but was then presented with a waiver stating that if the dance floor came apart and someone was injured, the company would not be liable. Faced with that risk, I felt pressured to leave it in place. Unfortunately, my concerns proved valid. One of our guests tripped, fell flat on her face, and was forced to leave the wedding injured. After the event, I tried to give the company an opportunity to make things right. During a follow-up conversation, I was told that the behavior I described was unacceptable and that they would speak with the owner to investigate the situation And be in touch. However, after doing my own research, I discovered that the individual responsible for the issues throughout the process was actually the owner himself. I informed the company of this fact and have received no response since. It has now been over a week with complete silence. What should have been a joyful and stress-free experience became unnecessarily frustrating due to poor communication, lack of professionalism, dismissive customer service, and safety concerns. I rarely leave negative reviews, but couples deserve to know what they may be dealing with before trusting this company with one of the most important days of their lives. read more

The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious, and the chicken was cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. If you need help hosting a party so you can actually enjoy yourself, you must use Cohost. They were recommended to me by Central Market because I needed, at a minimum, a bartender. We ended up with three people, and the bartender set up my bar area so professionally, and almost did too good of a job measuring out perfect pouring ounces for drinks. The team leader, Justin, had another helper who had only just started but she was amazing and it did not show. The only thing I wish I knew in advance was how amazing they were going to be. They brought all of the serving dishes, set up the table with food risers and then, once the party was dwindling down, cleared all the food, packaged it up, labeled, and put everything neatly in my refrigerator. They were almost invisible. I wish I had a photo of the beautiful table they set up. It will be a while, but I cannot wait to use them again. read more

CaterServe catered the second night of my wedding this past weekend, with food from Meso Maya. Props to Meso Maya for the food--muy deliciosa! Several of my guests said the food was fantastic, and that was with me not asking how they liked the food. My favorites were the chicken enchiladas in mole sauce and the elotes on the side. Sooo good. And Jewel at CaterServa was awesome. There were some last-minute kinks with the beverage situation (see my review of Noah's), but Jewel came up with another solution quickly, which saved me from a full-scale panic. Honestly, the best thing about CaterServe was that I didn't have to think about, or worry about, ANYTHING that night. So that shows they were doing a good job. This is a definite recommend for catering options. Plus, the cool thing about CaterServe is that they work with several restaurants, so you have a lot of ethnic food choices, which is good because then it's not typical "wedding food". Amazing service! We had Cohost as our servicing and bartending staff for our wedding. Our guests commented to us after that they appreciated the speedy service at the bars. My husband and I really appreciated their extenuated service towards us throughout the night by refilling our drinks without being asked, asking if there was anything they could get us throughout the night, etc. Those were some thoughtful touches that we weren't expecting and it really brought the service over the top. Thankfully Cohost was an option; they were able to create a killer lineup of food for us with LOTS of choices. They also made having an open bar extremely convenient and cost effective. Cohost catered our wedding as well as provided a wedding coordinator. Up until we had looked at Cohost, I couldn't find a place to cater food for a wedding for 150 people that I thought was both reasonable in price and good quality. What I really liked about Cohost was the variety of options they have for restaurants to pick from as well as how involved they are with their clients. The owner Jewel personally met up with us on a Sunday to answer our questions about how their catering concept works and to offer ideas based on what I had already discussed. They were really good about seeing what it was that my (now) husband and I wanted for our wedding. In the end, we got a custom dinner menu made by the chef from Hook, Line, & Sinker - it was great; multiple guests complimented us on our wedding food =) We also provided a few other food items ourselves, that they were more than happy to arrange nicely. The cheese display and the way the wedding cake table were decorated were really nice; I was very impressed with what they were able to do with the random extra decorations I had. It was also great that we could provide our own alcohol while Cohost provided all the necessities needed to serve and make drinks - made having an open bar very affordable and flexible. We also hired Cohost for a month-of wedding coordinator (Caitlin). She was really awesome. Was very organized and really made me feel that I didn't have to stress too much about the wedding day. My husband and I hired CaterServe to cater a party at our home a few weeks ago. This was an atypical wedding reception held three months after the wedding. My husband and I wanted to provide a fun and unique experience for our guests without all the stress! So we found Jewel with CaterServe ... she was wonderful from the beginning - very professional and helped us to put together the perfect menu (from our favorite Dallas restaurant!!) and worked with us on making our day exactly what we hoped it would be! She met with us ahead of time to see the layout and was very flexible in making things work how we wanted within our space. We had over 70 guests at our home, but I never once felt stressed, because Jewel and her staff took care of everything! They even hunted me down to bring me fresh food/drink because they knew I was busy with my guests. If we ever have a party like this again, I will DEFINITELY go through Jewel and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants the peace of mind that their party is going to go off without a hitch.
