This used to be a favorite but not anymore! These kids need to be trained in health safety. They forgot to put tapioca in my kids drink so I brought it back. She had already drank it and punctured the sealed cup with her straw. This girl (who was wearing her headphones) looked so aggravated that she had to get up from her friend to go back to the counter. I told her that the tapioca was left out and she said "take out your straw." I was confused, but obliged. She took the cup, grabbed a knife and cut the lid off. Then she went and scooped up tapioca and spooned it in there. She grabbed a coffee cup lid and popped it on and handed it to me. What the heck?!? Clearly these employees haven't been trained, or are don' care about customer heath. I told her she wasn't supposed to do that, it was a health code violation. She didn't care. I was interrupting her. That's our last trip there ever. read more

Great Boba, Delicious Desserts, and a chill Spot to Hang Out I've visited several Feng Cha locations, but this one in Rowlett is by far my favorite. The boba drinks here are consistently perfect, with the ideal balance of sweetness--not too sweet, not under-sweet. They offer the option to customize the sweetness, but what I love about this location is that the drinks always hit the mark. In addition to the drinks, they offer these light and fluffy cakes (not exactly sure what they're called, but they're delicious). If you're someone who enjoys airy desserts that aren't too sweet, you'll love these. They're a great addition to your treat and always hit the spot. The wait time is very low, and the drinks are prepared quickly. While the customer service isn't anything to rave about, it's efficient, and they get your order right. The best part is the little seating area where you can relax and even play some board games while waiting. It's a nice touch when you're hanging out with family. There have been a few times when some board game pieces were missing, but that's not a big deal. Things happen. I'm just happy we have a spot to take the kids and enjoy a treat together. Welcoming and amazing atmosphere! Staff is always welcoming and kind. Drinks are always good. I've started taking recommendations and everything is pretty top tier. I haven't tried any of the desserts yet but when I do I'll definitely comment. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND if you love boba. Just came here and I loved it! I came with a group of friends and we ordered 7 drinks, and they came out very very fast! The two boys in the front were very upstanding, nice and well mannered. Best boba in Rowlett! I love Feng Cha and have been to several in the dfw area. It is really one of the best tea shops you can visit as the quality and taste is unmatched. I'm obsessed with their cheese foams which have a cream cheese taste and often get double the cream cheese when I get any milk based drink. My favorite is their taro breeze which is essentially a taro milk tea smoothie blended perfectly with ice. It is one of the best taro flavored drinks I've been able to find and I never get an substitutions. Lychee and regular Boba toppings are unmatched. The boba is perfectly made and I love how you can taste the freshness with every chewy and sweet bite. Other drinks I highly recommend are their creme brûlée dirty boba drink, Oreo cheese milk tea, matcha latte, the citrus lord, dragon fruit. If you're looking for a quick sweet to eat for dessert, they also serve delicious cakes: tiramisu treasure, matcha love, Oreo cheese, sea salt pearl, taro chocolate, and strawberry princess. Everything is good! Not the greatest place to study due to high traffic volume but it's an awesome place to hang out with friends and play some games. Congrats to Feng Cha on their new location in Rowlett, TX! I was looking forward to grand opening, but was busy with life's callings. Very nice interior, calming effect, all brand new. In the venerable Timberland Shopping Center, Rowlett Road & Lakeview Parkway. This center has been upgraded a few times now, looking real good. Tonight, I got 16 ounce hot Vietnamese Coffee, and it is perfection. I'm staying warm because we have Deep Freeze cold storm arriving Thursday into Friday, which will be down to °10 degrees above Zero! Be safe everybody, check on people you know in housing challenges. Feng cha is SO GOOD. I'm so happy there's a boba spot in Rowlett finally, the place is tucked away in the Aldi shopping center but has such a welcoming environment when you walk in. Buyers beware! I purchased a pink drink along with my regular drink today and got charged for both. The pink drink was supposed to be 1.99 based on the promotional poster on the door and the sign sitting at the counter. When asked why they charged me in full for the pink drink, they said the promotion ended on Mar 3rd. If that's the case then why post and keep it on display? This is very deceptive selling practice. You have a product that sells itself that was why I'm a regular customer. You don't have to stoop this low. Vey disappointed. read more

My experience at Feng Cha is always good. I have no complaints. Which is why I want to come on here and correct a bad review given by a customer. I was present during her visit. Her situation was her kid did not receive boba in her drink so she took it back and didn't like the service she received. This costumer came in with an attitude already. She jumped into a conversation between another customer and a bobarista thinking she knows more than the bobarista. Regarding the review, The young woman with the headphones got up from the table with her friend when the customer walked in. She asked the customer her problem and apologized for the inconvenience. She politely asked her to remove the straw to which the customer responded "You're gonna use the same cup" with an attitude. The young woman explained to her what she was doing and explained the situation. The customer just stared and disbelief, took the drink and left without another word. In my experience at any boba shop if the boba is forgotten they just add it into the drink and put a new lid on. You'd think you know how your favorite boba shop operates right. Been going here consistently since they opened and never had a drink come out incorrectly, never had a less-than-stellar customer service experience, & the interior is always well kept. Pictured is the first drink without any tea in it, and as you can see it's not full. Another thing, I see the only other reviews talking about Brown Sugar Milk Tea also had the same problem. One of them, the person was upset they didn't get any tea and it was just milk and brown sugar, and the other has a picture where you can clearly see that there's no tea in both drinks, just milk. Not only that, but the girl who was working when I came in, didn't greet me at all. I got all the way up to the register, where she was standing, not acknowledging me at all, and looking down...we stood there for a good while before she looked up, and didn't say anything. I do not recommend this place.
