But I finally made it once I saw this location was opening up. It's very close to my parents, so they also asked me to grab something when I went. When I showed up it looked fresh and clean, and the smell of fresh fruit was in the air. The smoothies have cool names and come in different sizes. I got medium ones for my parents and I, and they were so delightfully colorful. We had the Nipsey Blue, Chill Pill, and Pitaya (I really should've taken pictures). I couldn't help but notice jackfruit patties too, and got two of those. Once I got to my parents' to drop everything off, we were all so pleased upon our first sips. And those patties blew me away. I've had my share of vegan patties, ranging from ackee to vegan fish to jerk plantain... but jackfruit was something else. I cannot wait to return and get more.
