Was in the college park area and wanted some boba and decided to stop. Beautiful bright spot with all cute interesting drink. Decided on Mermaid milk tea. It's good, tastes the flowery aroma but a bit too watery to my liking. Though I'd be back to give another try since they do have other items and even food menu!

I was on the hunt for something new for a cafe experience and stumbled upon this gem of a cafe. I loved the venue and the decor. It's not too loud either and super intimate. Parking isn't the greatest but I went on the weekend so if you're driving you'll need to park in the nearby lots. The servers were super pleasant and offered to order for me and at the kiosk. I tried the brown sugar latte with boba and the pork with lettuce and cabbage. It has a little kick to it but super tasty.

Upon entering you had a large group of people studying and a few smaller groups chatting and enjoying themselves, the baristas were focused on making beautiful drinks, and music played in the background. The energy was chill, relaxed, with a nice dash of mind your effing business. I like that. The menu is displayed to the left and by the cash wrap, offering interesting options like burnt eggplant bing and spicy BBQ potato fried rice. What stood out more than anything was the decor. It felt like being in your whimsically artistic friend's loft, where nothing matched but it did and love was in the details. Now it did seem better suited for a quieter crowd. It's located right on Campus Drive, perfect for students looking for a quiet place to study with tasty bites. They have wi-fi and a lovely selection of coffee/tea drinks, along with BING! It's capitalized like I've had it before (I haven't) but it looks delicious! There's nothing remotely American about the menu, so if you're looking for a chicken wrap or Caesar salad then keep it moving. The baristas took their time with our drinks and while the pear vanilla chai latte seemed enticing, the strawberry butter and butter black tea latte is what we settled on. Tasty choices, so I cannot wait to come back and try a hot drink. My eye is on the pear vanilla chai latte and mung bean noodle salad with beef. Parking might be a little tricky (there's nearby lots as well as street), but it's worth the visit. Enjoy!

Stopped by to try Li Chun after seeing someone walking around with a bag from them. The menu was very intriguing and I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to try since I have limited time in Hyattsville! I ordered the da fan bao bing with zhazha pork, a side of cucmber salad and tea smoked chicken, a canele, and the lychee pomegranate drink. I was thoroughly impressed by all! The drink came out first and had beautiful presentation. The drink was lightly carbonated and the flavor was very refreshing and tasty. I took my food to go and eat outside in the night time, so my photos aren't really doing it justice. The wrap was filled with rice, potatoes, jalapeño, veggies, the pork, and a salty and umami sauce. The bing had a nice chew to it and absorbed all of the flavorful oil from the fillings. The tea smoked chicken had an intense smokey tea flavor and had a sort of zingy aftertaste. The cucumber salad was good as well. The canele had a crunchy shell and was soft on the inside, with a nice toasty flavor from the cooking time on the exterior. The small size made it a perfect desert for a super filling meal. I was so impressed by this place that I was so sad when I figured out that this was the only location and there weren't any on the west coast! I will definitely be coming a few more times before I leave Hyattsville!

Came here to try Chinese Bing (Jianbing). This restaurant is the newer one of the two northern Chinese sister restaurants in College park. This one serves food from Shen Yang, the capital city of China's northeast Liaoning Province. This province shares a border with North Korea and there are dishes similar to Korean cuisine. There were a few young women working here so I wasn't certain at first if but it became clear that the girl working in the front here was clearly a family member in this family business. She was very nice and very happy to answer questions and tell me about the cuisine. She also knew answers and had recommendations for the sister restaurant I planned to visit later on. It was hard to decide which Bing to order. She told me that the black bean paste one tends to be the classic one but that all of them are eaten in Northern china. She said she liked the spicy one and that many people like the burnt eggplant one but I decided to stick with the one I planned to get: The NE Sauerkraut X Beijing Sesame Sauce Bing" with fried tofu, Stir-fry sauerkraut with potato noodle , Dried beancurd salad and Spicy cumin mushrooms. They had an option for whole wheat but she said the regular is the traditional so I went with that. I was curious to see how the flavors all went with the sauerkraut. The first thing I noticed was the way it was served in a beautiful bag and with an organized wrapper. There was even a hook on the side of the table to hang the bag. They gave me a little tray saying it is very juicy inside. Inside the nice bag the bing had a paper wrap that could be teared up at two places. The first bite was very juicy indeed and so flavorful! I immediately noticed that unlike burritos, the wrap here was more like a crepe, in both flavor and texture, which I really loved. Towards the middle of the bing there was less sauce which made it a little less juicy and as interesting. I think I also developed strong cravings for Chinese sesame sauce the past year so I wanted more of it. The bottom had lots of sauce again. Everything went really well together in this Bing which I wondered if it would. I'd definitely love to try the other ones one day here or elsewhere. This place is very vegan friendly. My bing was vegan when ordered with tofu. My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back but a decent place 4 stars: Great place. I would go back. 5 stars: I highly recommend stopping whatever you are doing and making plans to try it out! An Evie favorite!

Must-try Asian Cafe new here in College Park. Try their Jian Bings! Oh and their drinks are a step above all of the boba/milk tea spots you know. Packaging is so nice too! Their takeout bag feels so high quality along with their drink containers! Up there at the top of my list when it comes to asian cafes! Add it to yours and support this local business!

Super cute place with aesthetic foods. I like the interior, super vibey with nice seating areas. Haven't tried the wraps but they look good. Drinks were ok. Pretty but not the best. Tried the matcha jasmine latte but it just uses jasmine syrup in the bottom which has flower petals I think? So a bit off putting when we chewed something solid and chewy at the bottom. I think the butter latte with banana milk is pretty good though! Service is also fast and they helped us replace our lids when they broke. Will be back to give the drinks another chance.

Went to this new cute cafe and it had great customer service. Immediately greeted as I came in and they welcomed the modifications I made. I ordered the Strawberry Allover Matcha and it tasted soooo good. One of the best matchas ive ever had. Perfectly balanced not too sweet or too earthy. Great taste!

Super cute cafe! I saw this online & saw they served jiang bing's which I've never had so I was curious. I got the eggplant one with tofu. It was delicious with a slight kick. Not spicy but the flavors were there. I also enjoyed the matcha tofu drink. The boba was chewy & the tofu added a lovely texture. I'm a fan of tofu in drinks now since it reminds me of a Vietnamese dessert that's similar. The matcha was a bit on the bitter side so not the highest quality but it was still nice & refreshing. Would definitely come here again for the food drinks & sweets. The staff was nice & I like the vibe.

This recently opened restaurant located in the building of the City Hall of College Park. Received warm welcome upon waking in. The food menu was on the left side wall and the drink menu was on the right side wall. The store looked modern and bright. There were two self ordering pads on the counter below the food menu. The Li Chun Bento Box came with the dishes as pictured. The Black Garlic Soy Seafood Fried Rice was served in paper bowl as pictured instead of Iron Plate in the name. The Northeast Sauerkraut X Beijing Sesame Sauce Bing came in a paper wrap that can be teared out at two positions, which was tasted good. The Strawberry Soy Hojicha was warm and special.

Cute new cafe. Will definitely be back from the Li Chun Bing. Very tasty and flavorful. Pricing is a little steep especially for the area. 16 ish dollars for the wrap. I wasn't a fan of the lavender matcha so probably wouldn't get it again but open to trying another drink.

Matcha is the best I've had since i moved to the DMV!!!! Great customer service. And it's also in a good location with parking.

First, their location is very inconvenient unless you are on foot, which may be great for U of MD students, but if you are in a car, its a disaster when it comes to parking. This business even has a sign saying ask about a parking pass and they are not responsible if your car is towed. This alone makes this place already super unattractive. I fought my instincts and gave this place a try, but honestly, felt like I wasted $12. They have a digital kiosk where you can order your drinks and I chose a HK style milk tea (hot) with less sugar and also a jasmine milk tea with boba. The ordering for the jasmine tea was weird because it has an option to choose $1 extra for boba but if you scroll a little further down, you can get boba, no extra charge. I thought that was a bit sneaky, which I didn't appreciate. I waited about 15 min and then my order was ready. The HK style milk tea was supposed to be in a glass container but I only saw the sign after I ordered that they didnt have glass containers. That really sucked. The other issue is that when my HK style milk tea (hot) was ready, it was barely warm, which also was disappointing as it was a bit cool outside and I wanted something hot to warm me up. The HK milk tea also wasn't that great either, nothing special. I've had HK milk teas for about $2 elsewhere and they were great, but this was overpriced and lukewarm. I wont be ordering this again. The other drink seemed OK as I ordered it for someone else. I also thought this place was kind of dirty and could have been more clean. Not sure why the windows looked so dirty. I found the place kind of gross and it just didnt feel as clean as I like businesses to be. Overall, a pretty underwhelming experience. You get one chance to make a good impression especially when there are so many boba options available. I definitely wont be coming back here again.

Manifest Bread not only has a neat variety of menu options but, the ambiance!!! It's a cool interior, clean bathrooms, and AMAZING STAFF! I've come twice for breakfast and once for their jambon beurre sandwich. My first breakfast included: - sweet potato bialy: interesting-in-a-good way grouping of ingredients and the crust was crisp - biscuit with butter & jam: biscuit was flaky, crisp, and yet doughy; the right amount of butter, and jam provided tartiness/refreshing bite - olive oil cake: no complaints! My second breakfast included: - biscuit with butter & jam: a must have! - basque cheesecake: I have to be in the mood for cheesecake and I'd aay it was "light and airy" but may not be the best judge here - cardamom bun: last 2 times I came here, the cardamom bun was coated in a thick white frosting, but this time, it was different, so i HAD to go for it and for a fan of cardamom, this was superbub! ABUNDANT amountof cardamom and right amount of moistness! I would have ordered a bialy again but new I was going to have a big lunch so will get it next time. The jambon beurre sandwich was not what I had expected as it was more...flavourful and salty than I would have preferred as I like a plain butter and ham on a baguette sandwich...however, you can taste the quality of the meats used. UPDATE: Went back for breakfast and this time got the mulled apple cider and: - onion poppyseed bialy: I did not need creamcheese with this and it was fine, but if you eat the crust with butter and the apple butter - yum. Crust was on the tough-chew side, but flavor profile was good. Now that I've had it again, will stick to the biscuit. - morning bun: very flaky, crisp, snd the sugar just got all over and me being a messy eater, I felt like I got the sugar all over me and sticky, too. Flavour was great, buuuut... - buttermilk biscuit with butter and apple butter: yum!!!!
