They have a wide array of sides, including plantain, fried yucca, several vegetable selections, and a variety of drinks. There are also other main dishes like bbq ribs. You generally get good-sized portions, and their sauces are pretty tasty. Decent value for your money. The downsides: this place is a chain- it's a vacant owner operation, so the staff is never too friendly, and the place could be cleaner than it usually is. Atmosphere isn't exactly great either- I suggest you get your food and take it home, fighting traffic all the way to enter/exit the strip shopping center where this eatery is located. I give it four stars: good chicken, great variety, meh on service and atmosphere. Try it out for take-out- I think you'll like it.

I was there around 3 pm. It was not busy as it was post lunch hour. I ordered quarter dark chicken with side of fried rice and yuka fries. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Fall off the bones and very delicious. I loved the nicely roasted chicken skin as well. Fried rice was good. I have had better fried rice at other places. Yuka fried with their green spicy sauce went really well. Nice and crispy. Ambiance is alright. It's a self serve place like most of the other Peruvian restaurants. Plenty of parking space.

Comes out piping hot and fresh, tons of white meat and the sauces are delicious. The chicken is cooked on a wood fired rotisserie so it has a great flavor from the wood. Service is great. We sat at a table and they brought it to our table. Get extra napkins...that chicken is juicy and easier to eat with your hands.

The guy who preps the chicken didn't hear me? Giving me only one half chicken white. Manager fixed things but it did mess up their process a bit. I had to make sure I got the correct second meal. The chicken was great. Moist just the way we like it. The string beans were not cooked properly even though they looked good. This happens too often. The sauces. First, we just don't get enough sauces as part of the meal. Second, I was making sure I got enough sauces this time and ordered my usual types. Apparently, yellow sauce is now considered to be honey mustard. I did get some of the great tasting amerillo sauce but also got honey mustard which elsewhere is usually just fine. This honey mustard is awful. Trying to be like everyone else is not what made Sardis a success. If you must have honey mustard sauce go get a batch from McDonalds or some other fast food in the area. It will taste better. Was not happy with this visit. Given how high the prices have gotten Sardis can't afford to go down hill any further. I'm sure I'll go back sometime. Hoping things get better. Three stars cause the chicken was great.

The food was average at best and significantly overpriced for the quality. We paid $30 each for ají de gallina and arroz con pollo--both dishes lacked depth and were nowhere near worth that price point. The ceviche ($27) was bland and underwhelming, missing the brightness and flavor you expect from a staple like this. Even the chicha morada felt like a stretch at an extra $10. The issues weren't limited to Peruvian dishes. The kafta sandwich was dry and completely lacking flavor, and a simple salad my wife ordered came with poorly seasoned dressing. Overall, the kitchen seemed to miss the mark on both sides of the fusion concept. To make matters worse, two classic Peruvian dishes--anticuchos and jalea mixta--were unavailable. The explanation given was that they had run out after Saturday night service, which is hard to justify when we visited at 1:30 PM on a Sunday. The restaurant was nearly empty at that time, which in hindsight should have been a warning sign. All in, we spent $225 for a family of four including tip, which is more than double what the experience was worth. I would rate this place 2 out of 5 stars and would not return.

It filled up quickly after we arrived. The rooftop is beautiful and fun. The staff was phenomenal. In addition to providing great service, they were also personable and a pleasure to chat with. My friend and I ordered the following: Maracuya high ball Pisco sour Anticucheria Cebiche Scallops Both of the cocktails were excellent and well-balanced. Mine was the pisco sour, but I had a sip of my friend's maracuya high ball. We enjoyed them so much that we decided to order another round, especially since neither of us were driving that day. The food was equally delicious. The salmon anticucheria was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. The cebiche tasted fresh and the scallops were cooked to perfection. Loved our visit at Amazonia and would happily return!

Ceviche Nikkei, beef heart, filet and mushroom skewers and their scallops. Also got a couple of cocktails which became a Herculean task to get a straw from anyone. I scored after the third request. Yay? The ceviche was tuna and had so much sinew that after two pieces I gave up. The skewers came out and were so sauced up that you couldn't taste anything, and they were luke warm at best. Lastly, the scallops had so much Parmesan that that is all you taste. Let's just say that I couldn't stay after that, we paid and decided to go to a good restaurant, maybe McDonald's?
