Well when the service started off poor I should have cut my losses and went somewhere else. The server made it obvious that he had better places to be and more important things to do other than wait on, or be even slightly pleasant, to customers. Average food, below average service. We ordered the Hail Mary nachos and the extra hot garlic Teriyaki wings. The nachos were very good but the wings were not as described. While the flavor was good, there was really no heat with the wings. Service was extremely slow and not very personable. We waited over 10 minutes for 2 bottles beers and the server did not have any other tables. She was never on top of refilling a drink or even asking if we need anything else. 2nd visit was as great as the first! Love the fried plaintains and fried mushrooms! Generous portions...great service. Love the laid back atmosphere. I would give Mango Marley's about a 4.5 rating we're it available here. I had the bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. It was delicious. Some of the best shrimp I have ever eaten. We have eaten here before while in town for vacation and had slow service, but this year we had great service. Our server was friendly, the food was served quickly and it was tasty. First time visiting Marleys. Service was top notch! The beer selection was disappointing as they had one local tap and the standard offerings on the rest. There are several choices for anyone and any age group. The prices are about what you'd expect on a beach. We had a group of 13 people and everyone's order was right and didn't take as long as we expected. It's good casual beach dining. Our server January was probably the best server I've had. Ordered the jerk chicken sandwich when i went there after work today, I could not even PERCEIVE the sensation of jerk spice on this sandwich, all I could taste was the pineapple and the taste of sugar in their "jerk sauce".. The menu claims they have a "HOT jerk sauce" option, which I noticed too late, perhaps that one has some taste... went before 6, draft beers are half off for happy hour, they don't have much in the way of a draft selection, my Yeungling beer was served in a medium sized plastic cup.. Got the salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, the dressing was OK. I sat at the bar, service was friendly and prompt, both the bartender and cook were friendly and chatty, but the place was almost empty, as it is January.. I understand they have live bands on Wednesdays and Fridays and the bartender/waitress told me it gets pretty lively then, not sure yet.. Killer Seafood definitely has better food than this place.. Positive features of this place is it is relatively large and they have several TVs. They had the schedules of various televised sporting events on chalkboards on the wall, so I guess they are at least trying to be a sportsbar. Bartender told me they get crowds for college football games or car races sometimes.. car races? this is the South I guess.. If you want to try real Jamaican jerk chicken , go to J's International Market in Panama City Beach on a Friday or Saturday, to eat Jamaican jerk chicken prepared by actual Jamaicans.. You are warned right on the front page of the menu that they will not be in any hurry...believe them. It took fifteen minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. I guess if I had several drinks, my rating might be better...but I didn't, and I had a mediocre lunch of bacon-wrapped shrimp with red beans and rice. The shrimp were way overdone, the red beans were left overs from a previous day, and the rice was instant. There are better places to eat in town and next time I will eat at one of them. read more

I want to see local business do well even in off season as it is right now March 1st, but not just because they are open. Ordered take out wings, Caesar salad and fried mushrooms that they boast are fried to perfection...not so much. The salad which should be croutons, parmesan and mixed greens was ok. Added cheese and croutons once I got home. Used my own dressing...As for the wings?! It's possible to be over cooked yet have under cooked chicken skin. I didn't think so, but it has been proven. The bill was under $45, so what do I expect? Well, for that much I expect at least one to be decent. Sorry Marley, the rating of 3 was for your friendly staff. Got a tip from a local that suggested MM's. Perfect for coming in off the beach and not wanting to get dressed up for supper. Redfish battered in Panko was "good" and portion was larger than most fish houses. Wife had Florribean Fowl...jerk seasoned chicken with bacon, black beans and yellow rice. She shared with me and this dish gets a thumbs up. Daughter had a burger that was delicious and not over cooked. House salad was boring as most are. As far as our waiter, looks can be deceiving. When he approached our table, I completely misjudged his ability to provide the level of service I expect. He was very helpful in assisting with dish choices, kept our glasses full, and was quite friendly. I tipped him well and it was well deserved. Would have liked to have seen a few more smiles from the rest of the staff, but hey, I came here to eat not make friends. Great place you will want to visit while your in Mexico Beach . The seafood is awesome and they even have kids plates at a lower cost . The atmosphere is fun and the staff are very helpful when it comes to ordering . The red fish was fanntastic . The only negative i would have is that the music is very loud . read more

Somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for our family. We enjoyed the food and it was a fun atmosphere. Our friends, 'locals', enjoy this location so we have eaten there several times. But on our last trip down, without our friends much of the trip, we didn't bother. They have kids, and we have an adult daughter, just a different level of foodiness. Not that it's bad in any way, but there just isn't enough special to pull us in. But... then again, we probably would stop in the next time we are vacationing. read more

My husband and I come from Panama City to dine here pretty often and it's always a good eat. The pulled pork sandwich is a MUST! We've had the Hawaiian burger, wings and buffalo chicken sandwich and have never been disappointed. Good laid back atmosphere that accommodates kids especially nights with the live band. The music is pretty loud.... Maybe the only draw back for some but a plus for others! read more

Been eating here for a few years. Enjoy the wings & dine here several times a season. This trip, we decided to venture deeper into the menu. We had the Floribbean Fowl, Islander Chicken Sandwich & Fried Pickles. The chicken in both dishes were unfortunately overcooked to the point of being rock hard. Pickles were salty, which made the beer good, but not the pickles. It is early in the tourist season, so giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe they have a new line cook &/or kitchen staff that will improve as the season progresses. read more

For what is available in the area to eat it is decent- over priced like everything in the area. The burgers were mediocre, wings were pretty good. The watermelon margarita on the rocks tasted like it was poured out of a pre-made margarita mix you by at the store. The atmosphere is a little dingy but not dirty, chairs had rips etc... The atmosphere is a cool beach setting with picnic tables, a few high boys, and some regular table chair setups. The service was great. Our waiter Chase was very attentive and got all the orders just right. The food is really good. A few in our party had cheese burgers and fries. Burgers are big and delicious. I should have split one. It was a lot of food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good. The fried pickles were quite tart and tasty with the ranch dip. The homemade ranch dressing was great. The hubs said his bacon wrapped shrimp with the red beans and rice were ok. Shrimp and bacon maybe could've been cooked a little longer. I tasted his beans and rice. They were alright.
