Good local hang out, good food, nice staff. Our party of 4 were quoted 45 mins for a table but we decided to sit at the bar instead. The bartender was good, however could have been more attentive, overall a good atmosphere, will try it again and this time get a table. read more

Pleasant place with good service and fair prices. Food is just OK. They sometimes feature local live music, which is a plus.

Skip the tossed salad... Fried shrimp overcooked. Parmesian redfish awesome! Casual atmosphere, good service.

So so service and small portions are keeping me from giving this place more stars. To be fair portions are of a sensible size, but when food is well prepared more is always better. I had a mango salsa dressed mahi mahi that came with seasond black beans and yellow rice and husband had bacon wrapped shrimp skewers that came with seasoned red beans and white rice. Flavors and freshness were pleasing and my fish was perfectly cooked. His bacon wrapped shrimp were very good and I generally do not care for them all that much. I'd go back here if I were a local of the area. read more

It's loud. Live music, great food cheap beer. Our trip was in late May on a wednesday around 530. We had pulled pork sandwich, broiled shrimp platter, and wings. The appetizer was sweet potato chips. To drink we had water, tea and Yengling. The pork was prepared on site in the back of the place. It was perfectly cooked. Better than any BBQ joint I've been to. Then slaw was vinegar based and a great compliment to the sandwich. The broiled shrimp was tender and tasty. Fries wear ok and the beans delicious. I had the jerk chicken spice on my wings. They took a while but worth the wait. Our waiter was Jeremy and the best waiter one could ask for. We'll be back! read more

I thought this was an awesome place to enjoy happy hour at the beach. The service was always on point. We had some fried pickles and fried plantains during one of our bar visits--not bad! read more

Get the "Mango Burger". They are just a bit pricy but they are decent for a bar/restaurant on the beach. I used to live there and it was my favorite restaurant. They also accept credit cards which is not the norm for the area. read more

The food here was excellent, well worth the wait. I had a fried fish sandwich with fried plantains. Perfectly toasted bun and tender fish, great sauce, best plantains I've had in a long time. My partner had the Kahuna burger and said it was great. He also had the fried sweet potatoes, which I had and enjoyed (they are dusted with fine cinnamon sugar). The service was attentive and friendly. The price is a little high, but well worth the quality of the food. Overall, a great dining experience. read more

The service was great. Friendly staff. I asked for lemon and was served immediately with several pieces. The food was sub par. The yellow rice was dry lacked flavor and probably came from a box. The fried fish sandwich was eh, served on a slightly toasted bun with iceberg lettuce, thick beautiful tomatoes and too thick onions. Over priced. $17 for Fried fish sandwich, yellow rice and a cola. Skip this restaurant for the food. You are better off to have beers at the bar and hang out with the staff. read more

Kahuna burger, fried plantains, peanut butter pie -- awesome menu items if you're willing to splurge on the calorie intake. I consider myself a healthy-foods-eater, but I make room every now and again for Mango Marley's. Fun for larger groups. read more

Okay decor. Great ceiling. The bar area is plush. The dining area isn't. We ate on a picnic table. Foosball was fun. Food was bland (not seasoned). Sup- par Mango Mai- Tai. Don't eat here if you are in a hurry. read more

Do not get the fried mushrooms. Way too much breading and fried extra crispy. Hardly any mushroom left. Had the floribbean chicken dish which was okay. I liked the yellow rice and black beans the best. Service was decent. A little pricey in my opinion. read more

Nice place to go and hang out, its a bar and grill but friendly enough to take children. Live music several days a week. The wings are the best in town and probably the best I have had in the panhandle. Burgers are decent and the chicken sandwich is pretty tasty as well. The place is a local hangout, visit there more than once and you will start to recognize everyone. Staff has always been friendly usually bringing my beverage without even having to order it. read more

My family and group of eight ate at mango Marley's Wednesday evening. Seems like a lot of locals around the bar and a few tables of folks ordering dinner like us. The food was just a midge above average and the prices seemed quiet a bit higher than two other places we ate in Mexico Beach while on vacation. I think my shrimp and fish plate was about $20. Kind of steep. Also- my father in law wanted some hush puppies and was sternly told 'we don't have hush puppies' kind of like that was a bad question. Oh well- food was average, service average, atmosphere good, price was too high. read more

10/10 food was great! we had wings, two different types of burgers, and fish tacos and all were great!!! great costumer service too!!

Well when the service started off poor I should have cut my losses and went somewhere else. The server made it obvious that he had better places to be and more important things to do other than wait on, or be even slightly pleasant, to customers. The other servers seemed pleasant, especially the young lady who was working. The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. read more

Average food. Only 2 servers at lunch. Menu warned of lack of speed. These two really worked, but still made for super slow service. You can't be in a hurry. read more

Called to order dinner to pick up and bring back to the condo because my two young kids (1 and 4) were exhausted from a day on the beach and were in no condition to sit still at a restaurant. The person who answered the phone informed me they were too busy to take our order. Their menu clearly states they take call in orders, but they obviously weren't interested in our business, so I'll no longer be interested in theirs. read more

Best burger we have had. AMBER was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable with menu. We will be back!

Average food, below average service. We ordered the Hail Mary nachos and the extra hot garlic Teriyaki wings. The nachos were very good but the wings were not as described. While the flavor was good, there was really no heat with the wings. Service was extremely slow and not very personable. We waited over 10 minutes for 2 bottles beers and the server did not have any other tables. She was never on top of refilling a drink or even asking if we need anything else. He had to tell her each time that we were still wanting things. read more

2nd visit was as great as the first! Love the fried plaintains and fried mushrooms! Generous portions...great service. Love the laid back atmosphere. Only downside is I thought the wings were slightly undercooked and could have used more seasoning... I ordered teriyaki and they were almost naked. read more

Chicken mango salad I my favorite. And there wings are great also. I really havent ever had anything bad there. I love I can get plantation you can them just any where. I love they have live music though I have to agree with some other post some times it can get a bit to loud but the bands are great so don't stop having them. Maybe just adjust the level or the way the speakers are pointing read more

We have eaten here before while in town for vacation and had slow service, but this year we had great service. Our server was friendly, the food was served quickly and it was tasty. Between our group, we had the wings, the house salad w fried chicken, grilled shrimp platter, and the mahi mahi platter. Everything was delicious. read more

Just your everyday sports bar with a tropical twist. Hamburgers were good but took awhile to come out to our table. Servers were nice but slow. read more

Eh? The place is a little too loud for dinner to be enjoyable and food is mediocre at best. If you're looking for a good dinner, go next door. If you're looking for a good time, Mango Marleys might be the place for you. Great bartenders and good burgers if you must eat something. read more

We came here on a Monday night, so it was not very busy. We ordered and it took like 25 minutes to come out. I got chicken and it was stringy and not very good. Server was just kind of wandering around. We basically had two servers. Just not very good all in all. read more

I would give Mango Marley's about a 4.5 rating we're it available here. I had the bacon wrapped grilled shrimp. It was delicious. Some of the best shrimp I have ever eaten. The waitress did a very good job. She was very pleasant. Attentive but not too much where it disturbs your meal. I would definitely go there again. read more

Great food and service. Pretty cool atmosphere Shrimp Po Boy and the wings are tasty!

So people must rate this so highly because it's one of the few options. We were a party of 12 and our server handled us great! There aren't many options on the menu. I chose the fish basket. No bueno. Fish tasted like Captain D's only soggier. Definitely not worth the amount of our tab! Would not revisit. Try the place next door instead. We would have except their card machine was down on the night of our visit! read more

Nice atmosphere, but average service and food. Hamburgers and fried pickles were good. Happy hour adult beverages were a great deal.

The food service was fast and good. A great place to eat after the beach! They have a good big menu that is good for all types of eaters.

The food was spot on. We got their chips as an appetizer. I got the blackened snapper ... great. Wife got the blackened redfish large and well seasoned. Also the Burger was perfect as well as the Chicken Strips. We will definitly go back during our stay. read more

The servers are pretty slow, and the bartenders are pretty clueless. The food isn't worth the wait OR the money. I've lived here almost three decades and can't figure out how this place hasn't gone under like the rest if the mediocre restaurants that come-and-go. read more

First time visiting Marleys. Service was top notch! The beer selection was disappointing as they had one local tap and the standard offerings on the rest. Ordered the wings as suggested and was extremely impressed with the quality. Wings were big and quite tasty. Will be back to try some other favors. read more

Ordered the jerk chicken sandwich when i went there after work today, I could not even PERCEIVE the sensation of jerk spice on this sandwich, all I could taste was the pineapple and the taste of sugar in their "jerk sauce".. The menu claims they have a "HOT jerk sauce" option, which I noticed too late, perhaps that one has some taste... went before 6, draft beers are half off for happy hour, they don't have much in the way of a draft selection, my Yeungling beer was served in a medium sized plastic cup.. Got the salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing, the dressing was OK. I sat at the bar, service was friendly and prompt, both the bartender and cook were friendly and chatty, but the place was almost empty, as it is January.. I understand they have live bands on Wednesdays and Fridays and the bartender/waitress told me it gets pretty lively then, not sure yet.. Killer Seafood definitely has better food than this place.. Positive features of this place is it is relatively large and they have several TVs. They had the schedules of various televised sporting events on chalkboards on the wall, so I guess they are at least trying to be a sportsbar. Bartender told me they get crowds for college football games or car races sometimes.. car races? this is the South I guess.. If you want to try real Jamaican jerk chicken , go to J's International Market in Panama City Beach on a Friday or Saturday, to eat Jamaican jerk chicken prepared by actual Jamaicans.. No one Jamaican has anything to do with "Mango Marley's", the name is just for image, although they do have a couple attempts at Caribbean cuisine on the menu.. read more

We ate at Mango Marley's tonight. The staff really hustled. The food was delicious. I had the grilled shrimp with the house seasoning, easily the most delicious shrimp I have ever had! Will be returning! I highly recommend it! read more

There are several choices for anyone and any age group. The prices are about what you'd expect on a beach. We had a group of 13 people and everyone's order was right and didn't take as long as we expected. It's good casual beach dining. Our server January was probably the best server I've had. She never once looked frustrated and she kept our drinks up and made sure we didn't need anything while still working her other tables. read more

We drove in late Friday in the off season and didn't have many options open for dinner. Mango Marleys was a very pleasant surprise!! It was crowded, but sat us quickly and the food and service were great!! The fried shrimp and grouper burger were awesome. The loud, fun atmosphere was perfect for tired kids nearing melt down tired mode after a long trip :) read more

Customer service is alive and well at Mango Marleys! And the mahi mahi burger is awesome. Thank you server Mary and management for a great dining experience. read more

The worst customer service ever. Took an 45 min to get our food, we were the only customers, and all three sandwiches, which were the same, were cold when they finally arrived. The waitress and other staff continued to go out the front door for smoke breaks in front of us. read more
