Below average typical bar food and the drinks were tasty. Server was attentive. Overall was having a nice time until band played. It is not to say the band was not good but they played so loud in such a small space. With all due respect but I went to spend time and have drinks with my friends. Somewhere between a 3 and a 4 for our family. We enjoyed the food and it was a fun atmosphere. Our friends, 'locals', enjoy this location so we have eaten there several times. But on our last trip down, without our friends much of the trip, we didn't bother. They have kids, and we have an adult daughter, just a different level of foodiness. Not that it's bad in any way, but there just isn't enough special to pull us in. But... then again, we probably would stop in the next time we are vacationing. read more

Got a tip from a local that suggested MM's. Perfect for coming in off the beach and not wanting to get dressed up for supper. Redfish battered in Panko was "good" and portion was larger than most fish houses. Wife had Florribean Fowl...jerk seasoned chicken with bacon, black beans and yellow rice. She shared with me and this dish gets a thumbs up. Daughter had a burger that was delicious and not over cooked. House salad was boring as most are. As far as our waiter, looks can be deceiving. When he approached our table, I completely misjudged his ability to provide the level of service I expect. He was very helpful in assisting with dish choices, kept our glasses full, and was quite friendly. I tipped him well and it was well deserved. Would have liked to have seen a few more smiles from the rest of the staff, but hey, I came here to eat not make friends. Give it a try, you won't be blown away, but you won't leave disappointed. read more

My husband and I come from Panama City to dine here pretty often and it's always a good eat. The pulled pork sandwich is a MUST! We've had the Hawaiian burger, wings and buffalo chicken sandwich and have never been disappointed. Good laid back atmosphere that accommodates kids especially nights with the live band. The music is pretty loud.... Maybe the only draw back for some but a plus for others! read more

Great place you will want to visit while your in Mexico Beach . The seafood is awesome and they even have kids plates at a lower cost . The atmosphere is fun and the staff are very helpful when it comes to ordering . The red fish was fanntastic . The only negative i would have is that the music is very loud . read more

Excellent grub,killer appetizers not supper fast but on the beach so no rush. Have some killer happy hour deals as well.

For what is available in the area to eat it is decent- over priced like everything in the area. The burgers were mediocre, wings were pretty good. The watermelon margarita on the rocks tasted like it was poured out of a pre-made margarita mix you by at the store. The atmosphere is a little dingy but not dirty, chairs had rips etc... Overall for the restaurant selections available it is just ok, compared to what I'm used to at home it wouldn't be an option. read more

Been eating here for a few years. Enjoy the wings & dine here several times a season. This trip, we decided to venture deeper into the menu. We had the Floribbean Fowl, Islander Chicken Sandwich & Fried Pickles. The chicken in both dishes were unfortunately overcooked to the point of being rock hard. Pickles were salty, which made the beer good, but not the pickles. It is early in the tourist season, so giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe they have a new line cook &/or kitchen staff that will improve as the season progresses. read more

On Vacation and enjoyed the food, we were looking forward to a night in and just relaxing. Called to place a to go order but was told they do not do to go orders. Called back and the manager Anna confirmed. I was told they didn't do to go orders after 6 it wasn't yet 6. Keep in mind this is Monday night after spring break so they aren't very busy. The atmosphere is a cool beach setting with picnic tables, a few high boys, and some regular table chair setups. The service was great. Our waiter Chase was very attentive and got all the orders just right. The food is really good. A few in our party had cheese burgers and fries. Burgers are big and delicious. I should have split one. It was a lot of food. The buffalo chicken sandwich was good. The fried pickles were quite tart and tasty with the ranch dip. The homemade ranch dressing was great. The hubs said his bacon wrapped shrimp with the red beans and rice were ok. Shrimp and bacon maybe could've been cooked a little longer. I tasted his beans and rice. They were alright. Had a decent flavor. Beans seemed a little too firm. Could've been a bit more mushy and creamy for my taste. Overall... Very good and would certainly go again. read more

Have eaten at Mango's several times in the past two years. We eat there at least once every time we are in Mexico Beach. The burgers are good but I must say that the wings are my favorite thing to eat. The live music is usually good and not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation at your table. read more

Absolutely loooovvveeedddd the fried shrimp and chicken basket! We had the tuna dip appetizer which was super yummy! The fried shrimp were the best I've had in a long time! The waiter was awesome and would check on us just at the right times! My husband and I stopped by while vacationing on Mexico Beach. I had a Caribbean Queen frozen drink which was a perfect way to end the night! Highly recommend this place!!!! read more

Ate in once a couple years ago and had takeout last week. Food was decent to good both times, no complaints but we ordered safe bets (burgers and Jamaica-me-crazy house cut chips, which were just right). I don't remember what we ordered a couple years ago, was a group of 8; the only problem was the service was very slow - but it was peak season and pretty crowded. I phoned the takeout order in advance and it was ready when I got there. One or two nights a week they have live music and it's more a bar scene, otherwise OK for families, they have a couple video games for kids. I'll go back, would probably just watch for crowded nights and then expect slower service. read more

Terrible experience. My husband and I are responsible for one of the positive reviews for Mango Marley's a few years ago. However, after our last visit, we will be hesitant to return in the future. The front of the menu had some cute way of saying they may take some time to get your food as they are on southern time. But we waited for well over an hour for our food. Our server avoided us during the wait except to say our food was being "plated". That was a lie. We waited for another 20 min after that. When we got our food, it wasn't anything worth the wait. Thinking this was a one time thing, we decided to try it out a few nights later. Before we walked in, another customer in the parking lot warned us to "be ready to wait" as his food had taken an hour and a half so far. If you want to waste an entire night eating versus enjoying the other things Mexico beach has to offer, go to Mango Marley's. You won't have time to do anything else after spending your evening waiting on them. Very disappointed customer. read more
