We really enjoy coming here while vacationing at Mexico Beach. We always go super early for supper (4:30-5:00) to miss the big crowds. It's SUPER noisy here. Great for the kids. I was craving some wings and glad we chose Mango Marley's. The wings are kind of expensive ($14.99 for 10), but they are large and they offer several flavors including mixed flavors. I got the Volcano which was hot and garlic parmesan mixed together and added a side of hot sauce (for another dollar), and they were excellent! Mango Marley's also has live music on certain nights and our service at the bar was fast. It takes a while for food to come out, but the place was slammed, so I understand. My friends and I went in on a Friday evening at around 7:30PM . We sat at the bar , ordered drinks and food . Bartender was slammed as he was by himself and the Restaurant was a little busy ( not bad for really only place in Mexico Beach ) . As we were drinking I noticed food in the window ( 2 plates of fried mushrooms ) . After about 10 minutes an additional 4 or five plates were placed in the window , mushrooms still there . My friends and I knew the mushrooms were ours and I asked the bartender to make sure they weren't ours as they had been in the window for about 15 minutes . He stated they weren't . At this time there are now 6-8 plates in the window ( 4 or five for over 15 minutes ) . We started making bets about how long the plates were going to stay in the window . After about 30 minutes ( waitresses were just standing around ) one waitress comes to the window rearranges the tickets and LEAVES . Lol , at this time we are busting out laughing as the food has been there 30 min + . The bartender goes over and grabs the ice cold mushrooms and plops them in front of us All the other food still sitting in the window !!!! They are ice cold and fried so much they look like dried up shriveled bread . We sent them back for fresh ones ( just as bad when they came out ) . Couldn't eat them at all ..yuck . Then my burger and my buddies Chicken wings come onto the crowded window . I told the bartender immediately and he got our food . The Burger was a premade well frozen patty ... freezer burned and dense like a frozen meatball . Two bites and I was done . My buddies Chicken wings had rubber for skin and was still raw at the bone . We paid our check and left . Top 5 worst meals of my lifetime . Will never be back. read more

If you aren't in a rush and want some great local food, Mango Marleys is the place! I HIGHLY recommend any iteration of their wings! I got the thunderstorm (mild and garlic mix) with their kids tenders and it was delicious! Crispy, not greasy and their chicken was so moist. So, this was by far the worst food we had in Mexico Beach. We came for lunch on a stormy day and the machines were down so they only took cash. We sat right away and ordered and then the food took forever to come. The restaurant was about half full. Finally, the food arrived (well, everyone but one got their food). 3 burgers and one salad. The burgers that arrived were cooked beyond well done. Black edges and very dry. The salad which was supposed to have chicken on it had SIX bite sized pieces of grilled chicken on it. The kids mini burgers were also pretty small. We then finished more than half our food before the last person got their extra crispy/partly burnt burger. And, while all this was going on the staff sat up front and talked and multiple tables sat uncleared. I ordered the salad and I was still hungry after I left. I would not come back here again. I have been a Panama City local for 10+ years now. Mangos always had the best wings, hands down, no questions asked. I would drive to Mexico Beach just for Mangos Buffalo Soldier wings and would always bring out of town guests. I usually went there weekly during football season and on holiday weekends. We almost always ordered the exact same thing - Wings and a Kahuna Burger, and a pitcher of beer. This place Used to be a 5-star place with great food, great prices, and great people. We went there this last 4th of July weekend and noticed a HUGE difference, and not for the better. First off, the prices have increased dramatically. At first I thought it was just my impression/opinion, but the two people I came in with noticed the price increase right off the bat as well. The wings are now $1.50 per wing and our normally $11 Kahuna burger was almost $13, extra wing sauce is also up at $1 extra. Our total for wings, a kahuna burger, and a pitcher of beer was about $40 - way too high for a "relaxing family-friendly atmosphere" joint. Secondly, the quality of food and service has gone down as well. The overpriced wings that are normally very large in size (hence the name Buffalo Soldier wings), were now the typical, regular wings and they had very little sauce. The Kahuna burger was ordered medium rare, delivered well done and without the bacon and what tasted like a small amount of canned pineapple. The waitress was clearly frustrated as I could here her sighing and huffing at the other waiters and waitresses. The busgirl clearing the tables was walking around like she was a functional zombie- blank look in her eyes, no expressions, cleaning tables without blinking. It was almost as if she was either hungover or on some serious medications! The normally friendly waitstaff were all stressed and hurried. As we were leaving, everyone in our party made the same comment about how it is a shame that we will have to find a new place to get great wings, as this place has finally outgrown its local roots and gone to the tourists. read more

The food here stands out as the clear winner among the various mom and pop eateries in Mexico Beach. They have a ton of different wing sauces to choose from, and they have what in my opinion is one of the best buffalo chicken sandwiches around. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere is nice. A tip, though - as this is a small place, the wait for your food to arrive can get a bit long, particularly if you are a large group. My best advice is to call your order in ahead of time if possible. Otherwise, kick back and relax...it will be worth the wait! read more
