4.5 stars. I had the man-coco sticky smoothie. It comes with a scoop of coconut ice cream on top. I feel like that made this smoothie just perfect. Sort of a drink and a snack in one. They use fresh mangoes to make the smoothie. And have a scoop of sticky rice sitting on the bottom. I wish they had added a little more coconut milk or some kind of liquid to loosen up the sticky rice a bit to make it easier to drink. Sucking that up was a quite difficult. I recommend using your straw to poke at it for a bit to break it up before trying to suck it out. Aside from that this drink was perfect. It was everything I was hoping for. Exactly what you would imagine drinking this yummy dessert is like. I tried to use the app to order but it wasn't working so I used the kiosk at the counter. Worked fine. I had just signed up for an account right before i got intk line. My number didn't work when I tried to sign in at the kiosk to earn points. Perhaps there is a delay. Drink came out pretty quickly. Inside has some Milk and Mocha (whom I love) decor at the tables. They have a few tables in the store for you to enjoy your desserts. Staff appear friendly. The desserts looked really good but I didn't want to spoil my dinner so just the drink for me. I'll be back.
Service was friendly, ordering at the front was easy. The mango mille crepe cake was soft, with beautiful layers of whipped cream (not reddi whip) sandwiched between each crepe, the mango coulis was not too sweet, and the mango chunks were perfectly ripe. 10/10 would get this again.
Located on the third level of the Ala Moana mall, Mango Mango boasts HK-style desserts. There's plenty of tables and you can order either at the kiosk or at the register. Ordered their mango sticky rice and their mango sago dish. The mango sticky rice could be improved with more condensed milk, and if the rice was a bit warmer so it'd be more malleable and decadent. Some of the mango pieces are hit or miss. Sago was fine but needed a stronger presence.
Service 1/5 The two staff members were chatty with each other and unwelcoming to any customers, not even giving a glance. Ambiance 2/5 Even on a hot day, it was actually freezing inside the shop. We sat outside instead. The place looked a little unwelcoming to sit in and it was not clean with the trashcan overflowing. Makes me wonder how clean their kitchen is. Food 4/5 In comparison to Hui Lau Shan, it's not up there but it did hit the spot. Overall enjoyed my mango/pomelo/sago.
The mango sticky rice is so creamy and the rice has a perfect texture. The peach berry freeze with crystal jelly is also very delicious. Staff is very helpful when ordering drinks, they also have good recommendations. The tables are usually always clean and the seats are comfortable.
We thought of trying after exploring the mall. Food was not to our taste and we didn't get to go back to try other items. The boba in our drink was a bit hard and not chewy. Service was fast and staff members were nice and friendly. Place was organized and clean.
Their drinks are very good and high quality! They use real fruit and real milk in their drinks. You can choose whole or oat milk. Ambiance is nice as you get to sit on tables and the location is so convenient! Definitely a must try. I heard their cakes are really good as well, and service is fast.
I was craving mangoes so badly, so I decided to try Mango Mango Dessert at Ala Moana, and it did not disappoint. It can be surprisingly hard to find really good mango drinks and treats in Hawaii when it's not mango season, so this place was exactly what I was looking for. My boyfriend ordered the mango strawberry smoothie, and I got the special mango juice smoothie with added rice balls because I was craving something similar to mango sticky rice. I was a little hesitant at first because the special mango juice smoothie comes with sago, which I had never tried before, but it ended up being delicious. The smoothie was fresh, sweet, and incredibly refreshing. The rice balls were the perfect addition and completely satisfied my mango sticky rice craving. The staff were super kind and patient, answering all of our questions and helping us decide what to order. There is also plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it a great place to sit and enjoy your dessert. I loved it so much that we went back twice in one week. If you love mango, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
Mango Mango so nice they named it twice! This place offers so many light and refreshing desserts with mango as its star ingredient! I've been here a few times with my family and I never regret it. It's an average size shop for a mall and it's always clean with helpful employees. It's such a fun, light and fruity treat in comparison to heavier options offered. Give your gut a rest from all things fried and dive into the joy that is Mango Mango.
Delicious. Price was reasonable. The seating inside is small but there is more seating outside. Service is fast.
You have to come here if you love Mango. Their drinks are great. It is really as good as the one we had in Hong Kong and Thailand. Services are amazing, I don't know how they can be that fast. I think my drinks are ready in less then a min. The place is small, but it is still very good spot to have a short break from all the shopping and walking. Highly recommended for mango lover.
As a kid, I used to subscribe to the notion that there's always room for dessert. Sadly, though, despite how the cravings for dessert were still just as strong, our appetite just didn't feel like it could keep up. Either that or our stomachs were still ridiculously full from the heavy lunch we had just finished. However, in defense of our poor planning, we weren't expecting to come across a Mango Mango either! Otherwise, if we did, we definitely saved room to come here! With locations sprinkled throughout the US, yet somehow without a single one in California, my gf had heard about Mango Mango several times from some of her friends in New York. So, when we happened to stumble across this one on the third floor of Ala Moana, we almost felt compelled to stop in. Inside, the place isn't all that large, but the decor is cute and makes for a perfect spot to take a cool break from your retail shopping adventures. As for the menu, unsurprisingly, mangos are the name of the game here, but there's plenty of variety and alternatives to choose from among their many smoothies, fruit teas, milk tea, hot teas, desserts, pastries, sundaes, and waffles. Since there weren't any seats/tables available inside, we opted to just get a drink and settled on their COCONUT MANGO SMOOTHIE-O ($7.95) with Pomelo (+$2) to share. Now, I don't know if it was due to the taste and/or acidity of the pomelo, but the taste of mango in this wasn't as strong as I thought it would've been, especially given how the drink looked. That said, it still had a decent punch of mango to it (they also sprinkle some pieces of it on top) and I liked how well the coconut and the slight tartness of the pomelo worked together. Plus, I loved how deliciously smooth and creamy this was, which felt so cool and refreshing on such a warm day. So good! As much as I enjoyed our smoothie, I will said it also only made me feel that much worse for not getting a second drink to try. Even as we were punching in our order at their kiosk, part of me was second-guessing whether to just get one. Ugh...this is what we get for trying to be sensible while on vacation! I guess we'll just have to make a point of coming back again so that we can correct our terrible mistake and also try one of Mango Mango's desserts. How awful... /sarcasm FOUR AND A HALF STARS rounded down for now.
I love coming here for their mango stick rice smoothie! They give a generous amount of sticky rice so I taste it with every sip of the drink and it's not too sweet too. The coconut ice cream inside the drink is also very good - doesn't have that artificial coconut flavor at all. The store is kept really clean and they have a good amount of seating inside. You can order with the workers, on their kiosk, or online so very convenient and the drinks/desserts come out very quick.

So many great choices. Not too sweet. Service was super fast because we were the only ones in line at the time. Cool atmosphere gives a nice refreshing vibe. I will definitely return if I'm in Ala moana again. read more

We gave it another shot. Took our kids here to get desert after lunch. We ordered the Oreo crepe cake, matcha ice cream with coconut jellies and red bean, and a strawberry Sundae. The Oreo crepe cake was the best out of the three that we ordered. It wasn't what we had expected but it was ok. Super light, your typical Oreo crumbs in whip cream layering between each crepe layer. The strawberry sundae was also your typical sundae. The matcha reminded me of the matcha halo at magnolia, just with coconut jellies. Overall the deserts we decided to try was better than the ube frap we got last time. Unfortunately there wasn't a wow factor to me. read more

I am writing this review the second time. So far my experience with this company is not good. The very first time no one mentioned about the App. I spent over $30.00. They can't add to the system my past order. The second time I ordered I earned points. The third and fourth times the attendant unable to scan my LOYALTY bar code. They couldn't explain the reason. Then the owner came, he couldn't explain either...he was mumbling "it's the mainland...". I'm like ???. I love the dessert and smoothie here but I am very disappointed with the system and service. Total spent within less than two months is closer to $100. Please train the worker not to forget mention the app and loyalty program. And second please fix your app. Now I have to think 1000 times before I go back. Might just go to a different store. read more

Came here for the grand opening at Ala Moana for their BOGO free drinks and also ordered the green tea milk crepe cake. We tried to order the mustard king durian pancakes but it wasn't ready yet. Everything was delicious and we would come back to try the other desserts. read more

This is a franchise that serves Hong Kong style desserts and drinks! A must try is their Rose Blush Boba Tea which taste like you're drinking a flower from a cup! The Ube crepe cake is also very good light and not super sweet just like how I like it! Hands down one of the best places to go to after lunch or dinner or even for a snack! read more

Fun new spot in Ala Moana! I tried the mango smoothie with sticky rice on the bottom. It was really yummy! It came with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream, fresh mango chunks and dried coconut on top. Very filling but not overly sweet which I appreciated. It's different and was super tasty! I also picked up a mango cake for later and tried it at home. This was also delicious! Sweet layers of crepe like cake with a cream in between layers and mango on top. Very light and airy. The cafe itself is a really nice spot with a few tables inside a cute setting and also an outside seating area. Can't wait to go back and try other things! read more

Got the Matcha Brulee bubble milk tea, and Mango purple rice drink. Mangos are fresh, not frozen. Full of flavor, just the right amount of sweet. Will try the desserts next time! read more
Came to the grand opening weekend. They have a deal buy one get one free if you share their post to your story on Instagram. They are located on the 2nd floor Ewa wing next to Bloomingdales and Island brew coffee house. The line was pretty long. I came on Friday afternoon after work. I waited about 30 minutes. They have covered outside seating and cute seating inside. The design is modern and clean looking. They have a large array of items to choose from. Desserts, drinks, teas, crepe cakes. You order once inside and then they call your number once your order is up. I ordered their jasmine cheese foam drink. That is my go-to. It was delicious, the jasmine tea was light and flavorful, the cheese foam was tasty and had a nice consistency. I ordered the mango strawberry smoothie for my husband. It had fresh mango and strawberry inside which really made the drink! I also ordered a slice of mango crepe cake. It was delicious! Lots of mango flavor and the crepe slices were thin and tasty. One thing I will comment on is the type of cups they use. I believe they are plastic. When I put my straw inside the plastic hole broke and I winded up almost swallowing a large piece of plastic. Also, I ordered 3 things. They gave me a bag for my slice of cake but didn't provide a carrier for the drinks. I also others walk out with carriers so I thought that was odd. I almost spilled my drink but didn't thankfully. They have snacks for sale at the front. I was able to try their chocolate cracker and hazel cracker. Pretty good. I would love to come when they are less busy to enjoy an ice cream dessert and a hot cup of tea. read more

Went hoping they have the mango sago drink that I get from Tiger Sugar. They do but it's just called a mango smoothie with tapioca balls on their menu. All the tables were taken inside which wasn't much and there were more tables available outside in the lanai area. When I got in line it was inside the store, but while I waited for my drink, the line went out the door. There's no menu posted on the windows so you'll have to go to the counter to get a laminated menu to decide what you want to order. A worker brought out my drink to me and it was just as tasty at Tiger Sugar's. I would definitely return, but hopefully I can get a seat inside so I can give my tired feet a rest after walking around the mall so much. read more

Delicious fresh mangoes for dessert...... yes please! We ordered the mango sundae and it hit the spot for me and my two year old. We will be back!!! read more
Mango Mango Dessert is located on the 3rd floor near center stage area. You take the escalators from the 2nd floor, in front of Bloomingdales, and it'll take you almost to the front door of Mango Mango Dessert. We tried the Green Tea Crepe cake. It was okay. You have to be in the mood for cake that has cream in between the crepe layers. Hah! Being as how this item was $10, I don't really think I'd get it again. Maybe I'll try the mango crepe cake, or would rather have something else from their list of signature desserts. Their various fruit puree with ice cream and/or jellies/boba, etc, seemed pretty reasonably priced from about $8.50ish and up. There are even combo desserts you can get, that would be best if you are sharing! It is a nice clean store with a bunch of tables with booth seating and some chairs. I envision this as a nice option to have dessert on date night! You can sit with your date and have conversation while enjoying something delicious and sweet! Definitely plan on coming back to try the other items. They even have durian! You gotta love it to enjoy something like that. How many other places can you find that will serve durian! read more
I finally had time to visit this new hype in town.. I ordered A1 Best seller special mango juice with sago & pomelo with Mango Ice cream and ofcourse the matcha crepe.. The matcha came first and atfirst bite, it was pretty good.. the third bite, i realized its just really a thick whipped cream with some azuki beans. The crepe wrapper didn't really give me anything. It kinda tastes like paper.. And then the best seller.. It's so weird that my daughter got the triple ice cream delight and there was nothing really extraordinary about it.. going back to the best seller, I did not like it as much as I thought I would.. It's weird that mango being their "name" and its the mango flavor thats making the food off, May be their mango that day it's just not the right mango. It has a bitter taste on it. My daughter finished her ice cream which is a vanilla and Matcha but did not even touch the mango ice cream. I will give them a try again next time and hopefully the mango will be sweeter and not over ripe. read more

Went back had to drag the bf along and he suggested we get a tea pot of The Beauty. Let me tell you this tea... we uhhh ahhh and couldn't stop drinking it. Interesting concoction of goji berries and other things floating that delighted our palate senses. This place is very popular when we came in. It's really hot place to hang out with your so or group of gal pals because the desserts are really cute looking but taste great. Especially if you want to just relax or after shopping. I'll be back again... read more

They were really nice. Ambiance great. It was a little cluttered and dirty floors. For the decor being white and minimalist you would think they would keep appearances tidy and floors clean. Or mop here and there I get the floors will be dirty but then why the white floors. Looking forward to trying other menu items read more

Been wanting to check this place out. The taste is refreshing, and i was surprised by the jelly at the bottom of my drink. After having tried the strawberry mango drink, I actually prefer the mango more than the strawberry. However for the price of eight dollars! I don't know if it's worth it I feel like I could've gotten two pretty tasty drinks elsewhere for that price. read more

It's my first time coming here and I have to say, it's pretty damn good! I got the Sticky Mango Smoothie, it tasted very sweet and like an actual mango. They use fresh fruit and I would know since I have a slight allergy to raw fruit (oral allergy)... so you can trust me on that one. I would love to have another drink from here again if possible. My only complaint would be the serving size. The Sticky Mango Smoothie was a whopping $8.95, not including tax. Normally for that price I would receive a much larger serving size, so I was a little bit disappointed. Maybe I am just eat too much, but that is my opinion on it. Regardless, the overall quality of the drink carried its way to my satisfaction. 4/5 stars, make sure you get something mango! read more
