    Vegan Power Meal
    Meghan M.

I was excited to have the idiyappam but sadly they ran out :( had the vegan power meal with rice, chana, a vegetable curry, and Indian mashed potatoes. It was all solid but didn't blow me out of the water. Lowkey it felt like they used frozen veggies for the vegetable curry, which isn't an issue if I was cooking for myself but would expect more from a restaurant at the price charged (around $15). This spot is located in the Durham food hall, which is on the more casual side with its ambiance!

I stumbled upon this place in the Durham Food hall while it was cold outside, and I wanted a warm and cozy meal. I ordered the butter chicken meal with rice, naan, chickpeas, and vegetables. I would say it was decent Indian food but because I have a roommate whose mom makes homemade Indian food for us, my standards can be pretty high! I felt that the sides didn't have a ton of flavor and the chicken was a little tough. They give you a good portion but for the price, I think there are some more flavorful options.

Similar to other reviews, I was not impressed with the food at Mango Grill. Yes, you do get a lot of food, but the quality and the spices are just not there. From the first bite of the chickpeas, I knew I had made the wrong choice. The chickpeas were in a soupy sauce that was a little salty, but combined with the Naan was a little tolerable. However, the vegetables could not be saved. Dry and odd tasting like they were sitting out for a while and were possibly reheated to land on my plate. The one saving grace was the chicken that had a little bit of spice but still fell flat. I was expecting way more than I received, especially for $15. Sorry, Mango Grill, I won't be back for any more of your food. There are better options out there.

    Tikka Masala

Overall food was very good. The Tikka Masala was spicy, but not too spicy. The chickpeas also had a good amount of spice. The side of vegetables was strange, I wasn't sure what was given. Cabbage, maybe. Was not my jam. You get a ton of food but it also cost almost $18 without a drink. I would have preferred smaller portions and lower price. The cashier was helpful in describing food options.

For a little Indian restaurant in a food hall, it was quite good and reasonably priced. They make the naan fresh when you place your order and theirs was the best naan I think I've ever had -- multiple layers with nice pocketing, charred nicely, and a great buttery flavor. The tikka masala curry combo was fine, but the tikka masala itself was somewhat unremarkable. If it had been better, I would have rounded up from 4.5 to 5 for the rating instead of down to 4. The Indian mashed potatoes and the chickpeas were the real stars of the combo plate (along with the naan). We also had the chili chicken combo. It was spicer and better than the tikka masala, but still the mashed potatoes and chickpeas stole the show once again. The lemon rice was good, but not exceptional. But overall, pretty darn good for food hall Indian food.

Stopped here for a dinner out, this place replaced another restaurant that I was a big fan of so I was excited to try something new. It's located in the Durham Food Hall. It was easy to order at the front and you wait a short time for your food. The food is prepared and they give it to you as you order it. The service is very quick. The variety of food is very good. They have a few curry options, as well as a few vegan and vegetarian options. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with veggies and potatoes as my sides. You are able to order this as a combo and the price is fair. It's comes with buttered naan but I ordered a special side of garlic naan. The only complaint was the food was not very hot. The flavors were great but I wish the temperature of the food would have been much hotter. It still tasted good and fresh though. I may come back again.

    Just Yum!!!!

The food at Mango Indian Grill is absolutely delicious, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming! I highly recommend giving them a try--you won't regret it!

    Some delicious naan

This was the best Indian food I've had in a while. The service was great and the staff was so kind. I've been looking forward to trying their food since they opened, and I was not disappointed!

This place gets packed! Reservations are highly recommended especially on weekends. We didn't order drinks this time, but we started with the Saffron malai Royal, it came out "smoking" & was presented nicely! The chicken was very juicy and tender. We shared the chicken tikka masala which was presented nicely as well. It came with a large portion of rice to share. We also ordered Chili garlic naan & butter roti. The roti was okay. The naan was the star! Garlicky and buttery. Did I taste any chili, no but the naan was still delicious! Best I've had. We ended the meal with dessert, their Burnt Butter Pannacotta is a MUST order! Not too sweet and the pannacotta set perfectly. It seemed to have Smacks (yes the old school cereal) on top with a delicious sponge cake and fruit! It all worked well together! Overall I recommend this spot for anyone who enjoys Indian food or is willing to try it! We will be back to try other items and their cocktails!

The restaurant itself is beautiful and the light up menus are really cool! We started off with the cauliflower appetizer and it was huge. We couldn't finish it, but we did take some to go! I would give that a 10 out of 10. We then ordered the chicken tiki masala as well as another chicken dish. The tiki masala was very good. The other chicken dish had a little more spice than I would have liked, and a different flavor Profile, but was still good. The portions were decent and we had leftovers of everything. If we returned, we could likely do one Main + naan as well as the cauliflower appetizer. It was very clear that the food and ingredients were fresh and the presentation was excellent. At the end, we got a dessert that came out on a plate of what may have been dry ice, which made for a really cool presentation of "steam" coming out from underneath the bowl and crawling across the table. It was really, really cool. I noticed some of their appetizers are presented the same way. My spouse got two separate drinks, and I tried each of them, both were very good. The service was great, the atmosphere was beautiful, and I would definitely be interested in returning!

The potato filling was well-seasoned, not too oily, and had just the right amount of spice. Every bite had a satisfying crunch followed by warm, savory flavors. Overall, everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. If you're craving South Indian food, this spot definitely delivers--especially for dosa lovers. I'll definitely be back to try more from their menu. The place is nice and looks classy. We have never been disappointed even once. What makes this place special is that their buffet menu is never static -- every single visit brings something new and exciting, whether it's a starter, entrée, dessert, or drink. There is always a surprise element, and I genuinely look forward to discovering what new item will win my heart that day. Let's talk variety -- because they deliver beyond expectations: At least 2 vegetarian and 2 non-vegetarian starters 4 flavorful curries 2 rice varieties 2-4 dessert options, plus a welcome drink and tea Even more adds-on during festival/holiday specials For anyone wondering about the taste -- it is exceptional. Truly unmatched in the RTP area. I've been to many Indian lunch buffets around here, but nothing comes close when considering taste, quality, and price together. You will always find at least one dish that hits your sweet spot and leaves you feeling fully satisfied. And speaking of hospitality -- Anand deserves a special mention. He is our guy every single time we visit. He welcomes us with a warm and genuine smile, checks in often, and ensures every detail is taken care of. Meeting him, enjoying the food, and feeling at home has genuinely become part of why we come back so often. Anand is amazing -- his service adds a personal touch that stands out in today's dining experience. Some people may ask whether they have live dosa/pani puri stands or fish fry counters -- no, but I assure you, you won't miss them because of the exceptional variety and flavor they already offer. You'll likely walk out with a happy heart, tight belly, and zero regrets. Their pricing is honestly unmatched for what they offer -- especially in this economy. Hats off to them for maintaining quality while staying affordable. If you live in Raleigh-Durham or are visiting the RTP area, you must try the weekend buffet at Lime & Lemon at least once. Chances are -- you'll go back again, just like we do. Highly recommended!

It was not busy on a Sunday and I'm guess it's geared towards people that work in the area on weekdays. Walking to the bathroom and bypassing the vacant security desk for the building was a strange experience. The menu is South Indian; there were some differences in what was online and what I found on the printed menu, but it was a wide and interesting selection with abundant options for special dietary needs. I ordered a dosa and an appetizer, which were splendidly presented on banana leaves. I asked for my Indo-Chinese paneer extra spicy, and they seemed a bit skeptical, but it did deliver a heck of a spice kick and an abundance of leafy tropical flavor (full curry leaves are common in this cuisine). The dosa was large, extra thin, quite salty, and satisfying. A chai was small and unsweetened. I didn't get quite the bustling atmosphere that their other location (in Cary) possessed and the menu for some reason did not have the kottu paratha I wanted to try, but I would definitely recommend anyone seeking some South Indian food to come here.

Dahi kebab was the winner, it was crispy and soft and went perfectly well with its sweet gravy which was good twist to this simple appetizer. My second favorite was the chapli kabab, it was so soft and juicy and very light on spice. Their fish dishes were a little disappointing, I guess the fish and preparation both were not impressive. For main course we ordered their malabar fish curry which again was a disappointment, punjabi chicken curry which was pretty good, but the daal bukhara stole our hearts, very well prepared and flavourful dish. We couldn't stop ourselves from ordering some desserts, so we ordered their balu shahi with Rabri and gulab jamun with icecream. Rabri was great, but balushahi was big, seemed undercooked and bland. It's very difficult to mess up gulab jamun so that was good. The service was fast and the people were so friendly. We paid tip over the bill that already had gratuity included since we dint know, and the person came back with money and returned it saying the gratuity is included.
