Meatballs and marinara sauce with extra mozzarella cheese.

Great location in St. John's Portland, my go to is the meatballs are tender and full of spices. Topped off with extra mozzarella cheese. Awesome customer service and will definitely be coming back here. 5s

Wow! I stopped by the cart for lunch and everything I had was perfection. I devoured the Meatballs and Rigatoni. The red sauce was the one I've been looking for! I wanted the Arancini but that would have been too much food so I will return with friends. I finished off my my meal with Little Cannolis and was not disappointed. Cute cart. Nice people. Adjacent to a building where you can eat inside, use the restroom, and have a beer if you so desire.

Decided we'd try an Italian Food truck. This food truck can be found in North Portland tucked away on a side street with about 10 other food trucks. We went based on the five star yelp ratings though they don't have many reviews. The meatball rigatoni was a spectacular culinary experience. The rigatoni was homemade perfectly, al dente and delicious. The sauce was full of Italian flavors and was a taste explosion in your mouth. Not sure the combination of me in the meatball, but it was juicy and spicy and tender. The Arancini were amazing. I've never tried arginine before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The outside had a nice fry, which was crisp and the inside was full of rice, prosciutto and mushroom and moist. It was a fun eating experience. This is a place not far from my office, I will definitely be coming back and trying their food again and again.

Delicious find! Loved the 3 things we tried (see Pic) and will be back for more! Great meatball sub, arancini and eggplant parm.

Dearest gentle readers,…read more A most scandalous correction must be issued how careless of me. The establishment in question is none other than the divine Grassa, a name that now rolls off the tongue with the same richness as its most indulgent fare. And oh, what fare it is. Here, along the lively stretch of Portland, one may witness noodles brought to life before their very eyes fresh, authentic, and handled with a confidence that borders on audacity. These delicate strands are then enrobed in a mac and cheese so decadently composed, so brazenly elevated, that it dares to redefine comfort itself. And just when one believes it cannot be improved enter the pig belly. Crisp, tender, and unapologetically rich... a finishing touch that transforms the dish into something whispered about in only the most exclusive of circles. Yes, dear reader, this is the sort of indulgence that lingers long after the final bite... the kind that ruins lesser versions without remorse. And so, with that final truth properly set, I take my leave once more. The tales of this fair city draw to a close, but not without leaving behind a most delicious legacy. Until our next adventure ever eastward. Yours most faithfully,

The mac and cheese was recommended to us and was definitely not a lie. Sweet, slightly spicy(not really), creamy, and tangy. A perfect blend of the best flavor profiles with sauce hoarding pasta. It's a life regret to not order this dish. Everything else was also very solid. I really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of the burrata dish and the Brussel sprouts were a necessary addition of vegetables.

Fifteen amazing years and many visits later, Simone and his team have wowed our tastebuds yet again. If we lived in Portland, we'd be here every single week without hesitation. Simone, the owner, chef, and heart of Mucca brings Italy with him in every dish. I've been to southern Italy (Amalfi Coast) and the authenticity shines through. Piazza's menu is northern Italian and traditional the Italian American marriage we all know and love. It's what Olive Garden promises: to treat you like an Italian family member. When you walk in most of the employees snipe at each other in Italian. Cured meats hang from the ceiling and soccer plays in the background. That's like every actual Italian restaurant I've been to. Their wine list is simple and ultimately not that impressive. It's there to accentuate the food. They have a solid spritz. Whether you choose a dish with fresh pasta or dried (they serve both, depending on the dish) it'll be prepared beautifully. I've been coming here for years and I've tried nearly every one on the menu. Last night I even shook it up and got it delivered: the quality still held. One thing to know: that dish that in essence looks like carbonara is NOT carbonara. It is delicious, but be advised it contains ribbons of actual egg.
