I ordered the 4 Pointers and it absolutely delivered--super flavorful, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of everything. The bread was on point, the meats and toppings were fresh, and the whole thing held together like a dream. Service was fast and friendly, and the vibe is low-key but dialed in. You can tell they care about what they're doing. I'll definitely be back to try more. This place gets it.

I was craving a sandwich and saw this place was close to a coffee shop that I was on my way to. I stopped here to get a B.L.A.T sandwich and I'm so glad I did! The bacon was stacked inside which made the sandwich delicious! I ended up sharing with my friend who took one look at it and couldn't pass up the offer. I realized after I ordered they they had curly fries and I ordered those too! Both the sandwich with the curly fries was a great choice! They had a lot of drinks to choose from, bags of chips to add and a cool 90's looking atmosphere. The cashier was friendly and helpful and the service was quick! Very happy with my sandwich from here

Super yummy sandos. Place isn't too much to look at but sometimes those are the best places. I had the BLTA and it had the perfect combination of crunch, savory, juicy and toasty. The gentleman taking our order was friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

If you're looking for just a really good original style sub, this is your place. I'm from the Midwest and we used to call sandwiches like this grinders. Great quick fast service. Definitely won't disappoint.

2024 Portland Sandwich Week entry: meh. But the bottled sauce was excellent.

I only had a hankering for three entries in the 2024 Portland Sandwich Week, Snappy's green chile egg salad, ham, and cheddar was one. They had already sold 45 on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. It was decent, but I probably wouldn't reorder. For one, the bread isn't warm. Overall, their sandwich offerings just aren't my thing as they are mostly deli-meat based. The place feels more chain than artisan. Strange as there were no condiments for dine-in, but they sold them by the bottle. Too bad customers can't sample as it was delicious. I'd return just to stock up on the sauce. The counter guy was very nice!

Snappy's is definitely one of the sandwich shops you will see pop up on yelp or be recommended by locals. It's moderately priced and has a fairly simple menu. It can be hard to find parking nearby, but it's doable. The sandwich shop is between two other restaurants a little sunk back. Ask people which line they are in to avoid wasted time. They participate during sandwich week and this last one was great! See in pics. I recently went to try a breakfast sandwich that was a special, but it was sold out when I went a little late that day. The Turkey Club I had was good and has more flavor than most thanks to the herb aioli. The bread is not super soft and a little on the crunchy/airy side. It feels light when you get the sandwich, but it's filling. Cool VHS tapes line the upper walls.

Always a solid spot with tasty sandwiches. I've been here multiple times and tried a few different things between Sandwich Week and other bites. Just had the Chicken and Veg recently which was perfectly savory with a nice mix of veggies. The artichokes made it sing!

You can absolutely smell the fish and vinegar as soon as you walk through the door, which I think gives the place a very homey pub feel. I ordered a spiked peach Arnold Palmer, which I enjoyed (and it was pleasantly strong) and a glass of the house white, which was good for the price. Our server was very fast and attentive. To eat I got the tomato soup with a grilled cheese, which was absolutely fantastic. The soup was so creamy and flavorful, and I cannot imagine a better meal after spending all day walking outside in the rain. The fries were super crispy and I liked the batter. My partner and I shared some of their breadsticks, which were deliciously baked (fresh!) and came with a super refreshing basil crema and a nice tomato-y dip. Wonderful all. My partner ordered fish and chips, and was surprised to find that it is one large fillet of fish, not multiple pieces like you would typically expect. He said the fish was fine, but a little tough. Overall, a wonderful experience. I definitely hope to return. I highly recommend this place as a refuge during the cold winter months!

We decided on outdoor patio seating since the weather was nice & it was generally quieter outside. We were people watching for a bit and noticed that our fellow restaurant goers were waiting for quite a bit, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. When our waiter eventually tended to us, he was incredibly friendly & apologetic, owning up to the delay being on him, but we were cool with it -poor guy was working a double shift. We started off with deep-fried okra, I ordered the fried chicken meal, & hubby ordered the burger. I got to pick the chicken pieces I wanted, so I went with 2 thighs, thinking they'd be smaller pieces, so I could maybe finish my meal. I opted for collard greens as well. The food came relatively quickly and was super-fresh. The fried okra bits were piping hot down to the last bite. They went well with the spicy aioli. We hung onto the aioli so hubby could dip his fries. My meal was so good. The chicken was incredibly tender and flavorful. The batter was just perfect and crisp. Mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Gravy was rich and well-seasoned. Collard greens were so tasty. The balance of textures was just perfection. I ended up having to pack up a piece of chicken because it was so much food, but I enjoyed every bite I was able to take of my meal. I appreciated their welcoming vibe & the beautiful pride balloon arch inside the restaurant. I appreciated the friendly service. I appreciated the thoughtfully and expertly made food. This was my first time having catfish. I also am not a fan of grits, but knew that it would be to good to pass up and not give it a try. Everything on the catfish platter was splendid. I adored the biscuit and raspberry jam, might've been the best I have had! The raspberry jam was so good I asked for extra (because seriously, what was I going to do with that little bit provided lol) they end up bringing two more hehe. The biscuit was super soft, buttery and light (also coming from someone that couldn't care less about a biscuit). I also appreciate a biscuit that is NOT flaky! Hold your hate comments lmao! I had this amazing food before going to a wine tasting and let me just say this was the perfect choice before an event as such afterwards. Honorable mention, the chicken and waffles waffle is made with sweet potato. YEAH? It is as good as it sounds!! I think the videos on TikTok on this place, did not do it justice at all. The interior is nice and spacious but this place can get crowded especially during the summer with tourists as it's location is ideal if you're visiting downtown. If I had one wish for this place it would be for some better outdoor seating as most of it is just strung along their storefront out on the sidewalk. While they weren't as crispy as I would've wanted - I would say while some parts were, most of it was on the softer side - I did think that they were seasoned excellently. They also paired quite well with the mayo-based sauces we received. Moving onto the burger, I really enjoyed this. When I've had tofu on a burger in the past - it's usually been in smaller pieces - so getting such a massive piece that sticks out on either end of the burger was really nice. In addition, the breading was good - while not super-present. I quite liked the fact that it was very lightly breaded - meaning the huge patty was like 95% tofu - leaving the tofu to stand on its own as the majority of the bite. The buns were alright - I'm not big into vegan buns - but I didn't mind these The mustard sauce was also pretty good I will say, although I did order the Mr. Onion burger so I should've known what I was getting myself into, but there were just way too many onions on this burger. It was to the point where they absolutely dominated the taste of my first bite. I had to remove a lot of them from the bottom of the burger to actually make this edible. For the price, it is a bit expensive - but it's also quite filling so I didn't mind it. I also have to mention - because my burger was late, as a gift they brought out a full set of pastries/cookies in a box. This was incredibly surprising and something I've never seen another restaurant do. Major props for that
