I love this little the store! The staff is friendly and helpful with their suggestions if you need any. With the added bonus that I don't feel like they question how I made it to 30 and can't tell the difference between certain beauty products and their functions. I'm usually uncomfortable in beauty shops like Sephora lol. I feel the prices are fair and the selection is actually quite varied and large. I was incredibly grateful that this store opened up as I used to drive to San Gabriel which was fine when I lived in Whittier but became a long trek when I moved to Pomona. I miss the goodness of the San Gabriel area T__T I usually come here to buy Palty or Liese Prettia hair dyes, facial masks, shampoos and facial cleansers. It is incredibly dangerous for me to walk into this store. I always wind up buying much more than I expect lol. When a merchant behaves unethically AND cheats its customers, I think it's really important to warn others who are spending their money and time at a store, so that it does not happen to others. And on principle, I don't frequent stores that do this to people. I am a small business owner and unethical behavior is VERY upsetting to me. I am a frequent customer to this store, and went in today to purchase three items. I think it's a little weird that pricing is not immediately visible on MANY items in the store, and I sometimes have to ask the cashier for the pricing on an item prior to purchasing. Today, all the items I got were clearly marked on top of the boxes, so I didn't ask. It is suspect that you cannot see the receipt pricing on your items until AFTER you have purchased it. When I received my receipt today, I noticed that I was overcharged for one of the items. I showed it to the employee, who then TURNED THE BOX TO THE BOTTOM and showed me a completely separate price tag. Of course, I didn't notice it because the other sticker was directly on front of the box. I asked her to refund the difference since, legally, retailers have to honor the lowest marked price, even if it is a mistake. She then proceeded to rip off the sticker on front and told me there were no exchanges or refunds, and that the pricing on front was a mistake. I told her I needed to speak to the manager, and I was told no manager would be present until the evening. I told her that it was unethical and illegal (and is a classic bait and switch technique), and she absolutely refused to give me a refund (which was literally $1.00 - the price difference didn't bother me, but the dishonest business practice certainly did, and I can almost guarantee that this is a frequent occurrence in the store - those little price differences can really add up at the end of the year!). I made her give me back the sticker she had ripped off and crumpled in her hand, and she gave it back petulantly and was told that it was "my fault" I didn't see the price on the bottom. Uh, no - it is not the customer's fault if an item is marked incorrectly (and sneakily, if I may add). I told her I would be calling the manager and left. Thankfully, a concierge working at the mall noticed I was upset as I came out of the store, and approached me to see if I needed anything. He advised me to file a complaint with mall management, which I immediately did, and they advised that they would be following up on it. I have also already filed a complaint with California's Weights and Measures. This practice is implicitly ILLEGAL and should not be tolerated whatsoever. Stay away!!! I am sincerely disappointed that this happened and that I will not be returning, so I'm definitely looking for new stores around my neighborhood that have these items, operate legally, and don't cheat their customers. read more

I don't know how this place got pretty good reviews. I just walked out of the store and unfortunately I wasn't very happy. The sales person was not friendly and seemed like he hated his job. This is the only place where I can get Peripera My Color lipsticks and lip glosses. They're actually less expensive if you get them from here than online. They also have a nice selection of Asian BB creams, hair dye, skin care, tools, fragrances, etc. They also have nearly the full line of NYX cosmetics. It can get a bit pricey though. I mean, Asian cosmetics/items generally run more expensive than "local" Western brands anyway. The staff is helpful and some of them can read the Chinese and/or Japanese writing on the products. Not the Korean though. (But that's okay; I can read Hangul.) read more

My only complaint is that there is A LOT of products in here and it is a little disorganized. Also I wish that the products consistently had the prices on it. This is a very convenient location in the Arcadia mall to get cosmetic needs for a decent price!! I was able to qualify for a membership card too, which is cool. They have less variety than other places, but overall has what you need. Many BB creames, makeup removers, lashes, masks, all for a good price. Even some cute sanrio goodies in the back. They are so overpriced... I was at fault as well for not asking about the price since their was no sticker on it but really? You're going to charge me $28 for a box they sell online for $16. It was the black out pore Peel off pack. I wanted to try something new. And I figured it wouldn't be over $22 so hey! Why not... But as I bought it... I was questioning the product. So I looked online, went back and ask for a refund or to exchange it and nothing. The cashier was nice but really? Why must you rip off your customers like that. No wonder no ones by anything... Actually, hope there is zero star on this site. This store is awful, most of their products have no price tag, and their employees are rude. Most of their staff are overpriced, and are final sell, no return and exchange. Check amazon or google first before you buy there, there price are almost 30% or 40% higher than the MSRP. read more

I bought an eyebrow pencil from this store. Once I got home to use the pencil i found out the product was damaged. I went back to the store within a week to exchange the damaged product. When i tried to exchange the damaged product the staff as the store gave me attitude and refused my exchange or refund even with my receipt. They told me that i purposely broke the product and they also took the merchandise that i paid for an did not return me the damaged product. i know they have a policy of no returns and exchanges, but i figured they would have the customer service to at least exchanged the damaged product. The customer service is horrible and i will never shop at this store again. read more
