The employees at this location are extremely helpful and cheerful. They're always willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Tim is extremely helpful! The lady in framing (I forget her name) helped me even though it was her lunch break. The manger carried my heavy items to my car for me. read more

FIRST OF ALL, THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE IN-STORE PICKUP SERVICE. Arrived at the curbside pick-up spot, checked in on my phone as "I have arrived", the screen showed "We are on our way". Then 15 minutes passed, no one showed up and I was in a hurry to get to another place. So I walked in and got in line, the cashier was totally not aware of my arrival and simply said sorry and gave me my order. Not sincere enough. Walking out the store with a strong disappointment. Not sure if I would ever come here for another in-store pickup. read more

I've been here a few times and I've been satisfied with my visits. If you know what you are looking for, you can check store stock online and it is pretty accurate. I wanted to be sure so I called in and they checked store stock for me. SERVICE Service has been good and friendly for me. PARKING There's a huge, shared lot (free). I doubt it is ever full. NOTE: I visited recently and it was closed. They had signs outside saying to visit other locations. I'm not sure if they are closed permanently or just temporarily. read more

thank you Tim!! shame on michael's for being so understaffed, and thank you to the only associate on staff, Tim who was working the register for still trying to tend to guest's needs. unfortunately, the item we needed was locked and we needed an associate to pull it. Tim worked with us and was able to pull another team member, Hector, in to unlock the markers we so desperately needed. i very much appreciate the service provided and Tim was wonderful under an intense atmosphere. be advised, michael's offers online coupons! google michael's coupons and they often have 20-30% off one full priced item available to scan in store. we walked out with $15 markers having paid $11 hooraaay! amazing value! read more

I am a fan of this store for the variety of picture frames they offer as I LOVE to take photographs and frame many of my pics, the art section, the discounts they offer often and the staff who are all friendly and helpful. Solid Michaels, definitely a larger location. There's a lot of popular businesses in this plaza, so it can get a bit hectic here depending on when you go. Also make sure to check the Michael's website for in store coupons, there's almost always one available on top of whatever deals that they have in store. Good Michaels to get arts and crafts supplies and items. Perfect for paint markers for cheki decoration or if I have to get any supplies for making cosplay. It's not the closest Michaels to me but if I'm in the area, I don't mind stopping by to see what they have in stock, especially around the holiday season. Speaking of holiday season, make sure to always go months in advance if you want to see the new items since they stock like Halloween in August and the month of the holiday, almost all of it is gone or severely discounted and the next 2 holidays are already in store. AKA 2nd week of December already has Valentine's Day goods. read more

This time I ordered online to pick up from Michael's for a Halloween costume . I received an email they received my order AND one to say it was ready. But when I get there the attendant tells me the order was cancelled 2 hours ago . When asked why they did not send me an email or text me she did not know . When asked why they would send me a confirmation email saying it's ready but not explain why it's not she didn't know. And now have to wait 5-7 days for a REFUND! I don't get my items but they still get paid . RiCOCKulous!!! read more

Every time I walk in this store I am pleasantly surprised by the cheerful helpful staff. The manager on duty exhibits a sort of hustle and customer orientation that is contagious. The dude at the check out desk is enthusiastic and cheerful. And the frame department is a place of practical help, old fashioned responsiveness and creative insight. What a great resource in the vast anonymity of Southern California. In repsonse to the previous poster -- they were closed for a few days because of a small fire. But they are back open and ready for business!c read more

I just want to recognize the pleasant and cheerful cheerful cashier who assisted me today! Thank you for having such a bright attitude when so many other cashiers in today's world are so short and barely even speak or look you in the eye. Her name was Cia. Thank you Cia! read more

This Michaels is located in a convenient plaza next to TJMaxx and HomeGoods, and near Ulta Beauty and ALDI. It's one of the best arts and crafts stores in the area, offering a wide range of supplies for all types of creative projects. You'll find sections dedicated to everything from t-shirts, painting supplies, and canvases to ribbons, florals, photo frames, and gift-wrapping. Whether you're into baking, jewelry making, knitting, or even just decorating, they have it all. Currently, they're running a promotion on photo frames--buy 1, get 2 free! Right now, they also have a great selection of Halloween decorations for 50% off. From spooky flowers and themed wooden boards to fake pumpkins and wreaths, it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking to decorate for the season or save for the next. Personally, my favorite section is the Christmas decor--it's never too early to start planning! They have a wide range of Christmas trees, from mini $30 ones to larger trees priced over $200. The trees in the $79-$100 range are pretty solid choices too. Pricing can vary--blank canvases are often on sale and very affordable, but some other items are on the pricier side if bought at full price. One small annoyance is that many items don't have clear price tags, but there are price checkers scattered throughout the store, which is helpful. The customer service is solid--employees are friendly, helpful, and always on top of keeping the shelves stocked and organized. Overall, a great place for any crafting needs, especially with the seasonal deals going on! read more

I placed an online order for in-store pickup and had a disappointing experience with the associate who helped me. I waited in line and was called up to the register. When I told her I was there to pick up an online order, she responded with a rude tone and asked if I had checked "over there." I explained that I usually pick up my orders at the counter. The associate had blue/green dyed hair, which I mention only to help identify the interaction. She did hand me my order, but the interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. When I said thank you, she simply replied "mm hmm" without any acknowledgment. I was polite the entire time and wasn't causing any issues, so the attitude was unexpected. I've had better experiences at Michael's before, but this visit left a bad impression. I hope customer service can be more friendly and respectful moving forward. read more

My husband and I purchased a mini 12" Christmas wreath for our baby daughters urn. Sadly, someone stole it off the pick up shelf. I really wish they would do something different for pick up's. Please consider a new way t o pick up in store items vs. just having them out on the shelf. *SIDE NOTE* Although, the person who took our wreath has no idea what we were using it for, it really saddened my heart because that was for our deceased baby's urn. I hope they enjoy it and have a Merry Christmas. read more

Plenty of parking and a convenient location! There was one employee that was super helpful to me while I needed pricing (the price stickers were not correctly matched with the notebooks above so I couldn't tell what costed what). She helped me scan several items and would tilt her machine so I could read the screen with her. The employee who checked me out at the register was also very friendly and helpful!! I give 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't have all the supplies I needed and that was kind of frustrating cause I didn't want to go to another store when I was just needing a box of drawing pencils all in the same format (not a variety pack). The employee did mention that they were restocking this week but it was just unfortunate it was not during the time I needed it. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open and available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing some art supplies from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is massive. Rarely ever full. There are so many parking spots for you to choose from. Take your pick! Store & Staff: The store itself is very big, neat, tidy, clean, and organized. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum. read more

The staff at this Michaels is one of the worse I have encountered in a long time! The girl at the checkout line was rude and insisted that I use the self checkout instead of her helping me,she made faces like I was not welcome and offered to help a lady with balloons insisted of helping me ,to have the excuse that she was busy!! Also i asked another random hard to find employee for a product and she also made me feel like I was bothering her but helped someone else with respect and kindness?? Hmm is it the color of my skin ? If you need to get your photos framed and like coming back 6 to 7 times and getting your prints damaged from falling when you hang your prints because the team at Michael's used double sided tape rather than actual glue then this is the place to go. You'll also want to note that the actual frames are not good pieces of wood. But hey, 10% off and no refunds on thousands of dollars spent for your inconvenience and damages is a pretty solid deal. read more

Everyone here are always helpful, friendly and nice! This is not the closest Michael's to me but I love coming to this location because the store is always clean and organized. Finding parking is always super easy, which makes shopping here a HUGE plus! I've tried the order online & pick up in store option as well and it's easy and convenient. Definitely my favorite go-to spot for all my crafting and children's school project need. Don't forget to download their coupon online before checking out! read more

Just walked out of Michael's over horrible customer service and rudeness of the cashier. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but to describe her she was young, wore glasses and had over exaggerated blush. Came in for a 3m Hanger, asked if they price matched, she stated yes they did. Then once I brought the item she kept giving me objections to not match the price. I showed her Joanne's pricing, she said , "oh it's clearance". Then I pulled up Home Depot "we don't match them...there's one like 5 min away if you want to go there". Finally I showed her the same item at a much lower price on Amazon. She asked to take my phone. I gave it to her, she started swiping up and down saying the items were different. When in reality they weren't. I asked for my phone back twice but she refused as she was still trying to find a reason not to match. So I grabbed my phone and left. I went down the Home Depot where I found the same item. I asked the employee if they can price match, and without any HESITATION or OBJECTIONS, he was happy to do so. Managers at this Michael's need to educate their staff to give a clients their Property back when asked the first time. The fact that my phone wasn't given back when asked, made me feel very uncomfortable as if my freedom was taken away. They also need more employees with the positive attitude as those of Home Depot's. After the many visits to Michael's, this will definitely be my last. Never again will I spend a penny here. read more

I usually love Michael's selection of holiday decor and their friendly cashiers upfront. However, I cannot say the same for their framing department. I dropped off 2 pictures to be framed, and even with their 70% discount, the total was over $300. They were to call me when done, within 2 weeks. Three weeks later, no phone call. I called and they said it had been done for a while. Okay, minor inconvenience but it happens. Went to pick pictures up, and one was done incorrectly; the matting was all wrong. I was not happy as this meant another trip to the store which I don't live near. I asked for some kind of discount or compensation for my time and inconvenience, but was told, by the manager, there was nothing he could do. I STRONGLY recommend you do NOT take anything there to be framed, and they have lost me as a customer. read more

I am a senior citizen disabled combat veteran, which they did not let use their restroom even though I am a customer whatever happened to simple human decency, Michael should be ashamed of themselves to have such a policy. I will never shop at that store, and I will tell all my friends and family not to shop at that store. Isn't there some kind of state or city ordinance that prevents them from not letting a disabled person or any person, to use the restroom especially if they are a customer if your restroom is out of order, you should provide some kind of solution. If you cannot provide a rest room to the public, the store should be closed.! Until such a problem can be resolved. all other large stores provide restrooms for their patrons shame on you, Michael's. read more

This Michael's shares the plaza with TJMaxx, Home Goods, Aldi, Yoshinoya, Taco Bell, and most recently, Ulta Beauty. I recently came here to look for some supplies for work and my Halloween costume. Although prices here are usually a little bit more expensive than online prices, if you go to their site, you'll usually find some really good coupons that could be used at the store the day of. I particularly came on a good day I guess, because all of the fall decorations were on sale for 60% off - say what?! It was a steal. I felt like I was some type of couponing queen with the fall decor promo along with the 20% coupon I found online #winning The store was well-organized and had everything you needed for your arts & crafts needs. The only reason why I'm taking off a star is because the line at this store always seem to take FOREVER. They have plenty of registers, but they don't have enough employees to help ease the check-out process. read more

Came here for their pickup service and spoke to a store representative named Patrick... I had ordered 2 sets of ribbon for pickup, and asked it it would be possible to see both items (through the window to maintain contactless). I mentioned that I was unsure of which type of ribbon that I wanted to purchase, as I had seen some reviews regarding the color of one of them. Unfortunately, I was told that would not be possible in a rather unpleasant tone. As a result, I ended up just choosing one of the items and driving away dissatisfied with the lack of customer service. I typically come to this Michaels, as it is close and convenient, but after this poor experience, I may reconsider other store locations (at least during this contactless pick-up period). Overall, pretty disappointing visit. read more

Selection was good but my complaint comes for cashier BLAKE. Could he have had any more of an attitude?! Incredibly rude, clearly did want to be there, and appeared bothered that he had to scan items and push a couple of buttons on the screen. Even after I placed my items in front of him, he simply could not be interrupted to hand the items back to me (seriously! He just stared at me and waited for me to reach for them across the counter even though they were inches from his fingers). Sorry for the inconvenience BLAKE. These are the people that are crying for $20 an hour? Come on Michaels, you gotta do better than people like BLAKE. So incredibly ashamed for you. read more

When I was a kid, this shopping complex's anchor tenant was a K-Mart, and not much else. Faded but steadfast memories of blue-light specials and the occasional Icee frozen drink (when we were particularly good in the store) bounce through my brain every time I visit. After K-Mart went the way of the dodo, the shopping center was mostly dead... Although Michaels crafts stood the test of time. In the world of artists and engineers, I am no engineer; that said, I've dabbled in various media throughout my life. I had a mom who taught me how to sew, crochet, needle point. My own interest in painting and drawing saw me coming here from time to time, And of course the occasional need for something involved with a school science project, or history diorama added to my visits. These days, I only come here occasionally, as I don't really have the time or used to have to dabble in art projects. Still, if I need glass beads to tie fishing flies, Or my kid can't live without a marker set, or I need a shadowbox frame to help my wife display her marathon medals... You get the idea. This place has a little bit of everything. If you're looking for very high-end or specialized things, Michaels may not have it. But if you need some ribbon, or some silk flowers, or a bolt of felt, or your kid wants to spend a little bit of summer time working on costume jewelry instead of mindlessly watching Netflix and YouTube, Michaels maybe your jam. read more

So it says online that you're able to curbside your order. Okay cool... right? Or I thought so. Today I drove up and realized they aren't offering it as of right now since 'conditions get better' the condition that we are in a state of emergency and I would rather curbside my order than going in? The point of curbside is to avoid contact and to protect others and myself?! And the fire in the surrounding location is more than 50% contained. So what condition? And to tell you, that you have to go through the store to pick up your order is ridiculous another reason to put others and myself at risk! The framing people act like you have all day to stand around waiting, like seriously either hire someone else or figure out how to run the desk efficiently without having close contact with people. If you want to catch COVID this is the place! Come on Micheal's this is the last I try to pick up something here, would rather drive to a location that actually is doing curbside like the one in West Covina, than this one!
