Michaels is a great art and craft store with a wide selection of art supplies, crafting materials, decor, floral collections, sewing kits, fabrics, baking supplies, party supplies, Christmas trees and ornaments and more. It is located next to TJMAXX and HomeGoods. There are ample parking spots in this plaza. The store is spacious and well stocked. The staff were courteous and friendly. You can order online too. They have rewards program which is convenient for regular customers

I am a fan of this store for the variety of picture frames they offer as I LOVE to take photographs and frame many of my pics, the art section, the discounts they offer often and the staff who are all friendly and helpful. Prices for most items are very affordable and parking is always available in the huge parking lot .

This Michaels is located in a convenient plaza next to TJMaxx and HomeGoods, and near Ulta Beauty and ALDI. It's one of the best arts and crafts stores in the area, offering a wide range of supplies for all types of creative projects. You'll find sections dedicated to everything from t-shirts, painting supplies, and canvases to ribbons, florals, photo frames, and gift-wrapping. Whether you're into baking, jewelry making, knitting, or even just decorating, they have it all. Currently, they're running a promotion on photo frames--buy 1, get 2 free! Right now, they also have a great selection of Halloween decorations for 50% off. From spooky flowers and themed wooden boards to fake pumpkins and wreaths, it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking to decorate for the season or save for the next. Personally, my favorite section is the Christmas decor--it's never too early to start planning! They have a wide range of Christmas trees, from mini $30 ones to larger trees priced over $200. The trees in the $79-$100 range are pretty solid choices too. Pricing can vary--blank canvases are often on sale and very affordable, but some other items are on the pricier side if bought at full price. One small annoyance is that many items don't have clear price tags, but there are price checkers scattered throughout the store, which is helpful. The customer service is solid--employees are friendly, helpful, and always on top of keeping the shelves stocked and organized. Overall, a great place for any crafting needs, especially with the seasonal deals going on!

Plenty of parking and a convenient location! There was one employee that was super helpful to me while I needed pricing (the price stickers were not correctly matched with the notebooks above so I couldn't tell what costed what). She helped me scan several items and would tilt her machine so I could read the screen with her. The employee who checked me out at the register was also very friendly and helpful!! I give 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn't have all the supplies I needed and that was kind of frustrating cause I didn't want to go to another store when I was just needing a box of drawing pencils all in the same format (not a variety pack). The employee did mention that they were restocking this week but it was just unfortunate it was not during the time I needed it.

    Home Depot pricing

Just walked out of Michael's over horrible customer service and rudeness of the cashier. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but to describe her she was young, wore glasses and had over exaggerated blush. Came in for a 3m Hanger, asked if they price matched, she stated yes they did. Then once I brought the item she kept giving me objections to not match the price. I showed her Joanne's pricing, she said , "oh it's clearance". Then I pulled up Home Depot "we don't match them...there's one like 5 min away if you want to go there". Finally I showed her the same item at a much lower price on Amazon. She asked to take my phone. I gave it to her, she started swiping up and down saying the items were different. When in reality they weren't. I asked for my phone back twice but she refused as she was still trying to find a reason not to match. So I grabbed my phone and left. I went down the Home Depot where I found the same item. I asked the employee if they can price match, and without any HESITATION or OBJECTIONS, he was happy to do so. Managers at this Michael's need to educate their staff to give a clients their Property back when asked the first time. The fact that my phone wasn't given back when asked, made me feel very uncomfortable as if my freedom was taken away. They also need more employees with the positive attitude as those of Home Depot's. After the many visits to Michael's, this will definitely be my last. Never again will I spend a penny here.

Nice staff and fun selections! We like to bring our little one to buy supplies, find craft ideas and build inspirations. They're better than Hobby Lobby!

Yay for damaged corners from falling!

Wanted fabric taken from it along with new patterned fabric incorporated to create a new patchwork quilt. Was told it would take about 3 months to complete. Discussed in length the types of new patterned fabric she would incorporate as well as marking the squares I wanted her to incorporate from the older quilt. The cost was over $600 and she wanted the entire amount up front. Paid the money, asked her to check In with me on completion date. 1 year later I finally have the quilt. Never once during that time did she check in with me. Excuse after excuse when I would call only to be told check back I, 2, 3, or 4 months. The last time I spoke with her I told her I was going to take her to small claims court if she did not have it done in 1 month. She called 4-5 weeks later and said it was completed. Picked it up and was very disappointed. The quality of workmanship was average at best, there was no new patterned fabric used on any part of the quilt only a small amount of dark solid colors. And to top it off, the fabric that was used on the back of the quilt was also used as a thick border on the front of the quilt and she also used it heavily around many of the larger sewn together squares on the front. She used minimal new fabric. I asked for new patterned fabric from the era the quilt was made to add character and brighten it up and none of that was done. Very disappointed and will never use her services again. Btw: two of the times I called to see when it would be done she said she had been in the hospital. Not once did she call and explain the situation or apologize for the delay. She seemed put out that I was running out of patience. Very unprofessional.

I've…read moretaken the responsibility to help with our apparel sales fundraiser and have been looking all over the internet for a reputable and reliable apparel printing service. So I can say, I hit the jackpot when finding LAB. When I first contacted Andy (Co-Owner), he was very professional. Andy listed to our schools needs and made time to explain what his company provide. He is clear, thorough and straight forward. He does not mislead you and if he makes a mistake on his end, he takes responsibility and fixes any issues we may have. Andy invited me to their shop, LAB in South El Monte, which is super inviting. All apparels he has available that he has to offer is hung nicely on racks ordered by company. Near by is a bar, which to me shows that they love to work and play at the same time. I met German, I believe he's the co-owner and is the main screen printer. German is also super nice and also very clear and straight forward. German explains the screen printing process, shows me the screens, how they are printed on from a computer, how the printer works and much more. I felt very welcome anytime I come to place, review and pick up orders. They do not have anything to hide. I design our school logos, which makes it an easier process for our school, and LAB does not care what the designs are and if they come in one color. Andy does not reject any designs or sends it back to make any modifications. He accepts it, helps tweak it and/or improves it. He's very flexible. As for pricing, LAB is the best price in town. As far as my research goes. Andy has always work to meet or beat any competitors price. As for the products, we've ordered sweaters, long sleeve shirts and T-Shirts, all came out as I designed it and mocked up by Andy. All mock ups Andy creates gives our school a visual of what the final product looks like, it takes alot of time on his end, but it's great to see what our product will look like. Once our order is complete, all apparels ordered are nicely packaged, ordered and clean. It's been a pleasure to work with LAB, our partnership will continue for generations to come even when my kids leave McKinley. Thank you Andy and German. They were here last year for the month of October, and it seems they've returned for the same time this year. There's plenty of parking in this area, and it's conveniently situated next to the newly opened Dollar Tree. Out of all the Spirit Halloween stores I've visited, this one is definitely one of the nicer ones. It's larger, with more space to move around, cleaner, and much better organized, with fewer crowds compared to other locations. Right when you walk in, you're greeted by impressive Halloween displays and moving animatronics. These are available for purchase but tend to be on the pricier side. The technology behind these displays seems to have evolved, with some animatronics even featuring sensor tracking--so their faces move as if they're watching you. This year, it seems they're going for a carnival theme, with decor like the "Wheel of Fate," "Down the Duck," and "World Famous Side Shows" stage, complete with a ticket booth and a walk-through "Fun House." It's all very inventive and adds to the spooky atmosphere. There's a huge selection of Halloween-related items here, from costumes to accessories. You'll find masks, pumpkin carving kits, and an extensive collection of costumes. They have everything from the classic skeletons and ghosts to themed characters. I was particularly impressed by the Spongebob, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Five Nights at Freddy's, and Harry Potter sections. However, the costumes are on the expensive side--for example, the Squidward inflatable costume is a hefty $59.99! Some of these costumes, like Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy, could easily be made for cheaper with a bit of DIY effort. Regardless, if you're looking to get into the Halloween spirit, this is a great spot to visit. The displays are fun, the selection is wide, and even though the prices can be high, it's still worth checking out for the experience alone.
