There's always something unique at this store so i always like to come here and discover different things. This time is was there ashtray collection. I don't smoke but it made me want to buy something cuz it looked so cool and just use it as a display. Cute shop with hilarious merchandise. Now, if your a prude this shop is not for you! It has a lot of sexually suggestive merch. We Love their graphic tees! They have some of the funniest ones ever! They also carry some anime stuff. Which one of my twin girls is into big time! My girls wanted to check them out. To our surprise they had a sale buy 4 get the 5th free. So we decided to buy some. My brother is obsessed with graphic tees! I know him so well. I ran into this store as soon as we were passing by it and asked the nice employee if they had Rick & Morty tees. There is a Buy 1 Get 1 50% off deal right now with graphic tees! Get on it! I purchased 4 shirts, and as soon as I put the items on the cash register, Nissa mentioned I can get a free shirt! Nice! Their other promo going on is if you buy 4 shirts, you'll get 1 free (up to $21). I cannot believe I ended up spending roughly $100 on 5 shirts. I would never spend that much on myself, but for my brother and cousin it was worth it. Thanks for being so cool Nissa! I love Spencer's. Been coming here for decades! A store packed ceiling to floor of funny gag gifts and novel shirts, and random items. This place is not for the faint at heart or modest church goer. Expect to be shock and awed! Great for bachelor's/bachelorette party's, graduation, birthdays, especially milestone ones, etc. They carry all sorts of humorous knick knacks. I can't get enough of it! Never can I enter this store without coming out with something. My last purchase was a superman baby diaper cover and cape. I mean.... WHAT!?!!?! Super adorable! They have games, shirts, adult toys, novelty shirts, flasks, cards, piercing jewelry... you name it, you'll likely find it! They are always current with the latest trends (including the ugly Christmas sweater craze) and offer great prices. Only downside at this store was the staff were not on their A Game. I had to search the store for a cashier. And the register area was a bit cluttered. Other than that, If you haven't been in a Spencer's (and you consider yourself a person of humor), you gotta go! This place is fun. Small. The selection isnt as great as say Aahs but for all the cool stuff compiled together thats funny and wrong and good and bad at the same time. Fun to buy gifts here. They have a frequent underground card as well. So if you want a gift store for that special someone who likes a special something and are too intimidated to go to a speciality store for that special item then come here. I guess this is a new location. The graffiti door is pretty dope! It's first thing that caught my eye and the reason I decided to walk on in. Some pretty tacky stuff. Not sure if I would buy for anybody. Some of the stuff is overpriced too. Like the beer pong stuff, you should grab somewhere. The $50+ beer pong set, you can get at 7-11 for like... $15. Total ripoff. Only thing I saw that was interesting and worth buying cos it was really well priced were the posters. Not the best quality posters, but you know... whatever. I recommend checking them out. Selection of hats is pretty cool. Can't inform you about prices tho because either I didn't check or I don't remember... lol. There was this worker here that rubbed me the wrong way. Tried way too hard to make sales and totally sucked at it. Asked about beer table prices and he told us and then told us to buy the bigger one. Didn't say why, just because. He kept bothering us the whole time we were there, he repeated himself several times too. I know he didn't forget that he had already talked to us. Ugh, so annoying! Anyways, I bought two bracelets. One with handcuffs and the second is checkered. The handcuff one disappeared somehow and the other one I can't wear cos it irritates my skin. I don't remember Spencer's sucking this much, but whatever. Its been around since the 90s, but I've read they started off as a mail order catalog company in the late 40s. I remember walking through the aisles as a kid, and getting all confused when I started to see the inappropriately shaped mugs and such. I mean, they sell greeting cards with elderly posing in xxx rated positions - something you'd get from a dirty uncle. Was out looking for particular items yesterday at the mall. At a few stores some sales people suggested I try Spencers. After slowly working my way around the mall I finally made it to Spencers. The sales clerk here was great! I wish I got his name to give him props. He worked hard, trying to help me find the elusive items in my quest. While I left without making a purchase yesterday, I will return and drop some $$$ in this store. Too bad a clerk in another store in the same mall doesn't understand this great service ethic. read more

I received poor hospitality my whole visit, I didn't really care because I was just looking for a gift. Once I found it, i waited for 15min just so the cashier can finish there conversation on the side while the line was getting longer. Once I bought the blanket, I went home gave it to her and she didn't like it. I found something else she liked but when I came back to the store to get a refund, they told me I wasn't able to because I paid cash! Really? Only can refund money if it was on card... I didn't see that on the receipt nor on any sign. The cashier had to lift a few display items on the counter in order to show me that they have a return policy. How can you be so unprofessional and rude at the same time with no disciplinary action. If your Black Friday shopping or Christmas shopping, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! read more

This spencers is one the best in the LA County, had working people and very polite, came in on a shipment day so the small mess was very understandable and I won't be ignorant about that. Had a wonderful day at the mall and finished it off by stopping by Spencer's to get a couple of things for an upcoming trip. An employee by the name of Kaylee or possibly Kayla asked if I needed anything. I let her know I was interested in an item out of reach. She giggled, turned around and order another team member ( with the same job title) named Matthew to grab it for me. He gladly got the ladder and grabbed the item for me and continued organizing items around the store. Kaylee was once again behind the counter and in a great position to help me with my transaction now. I assumed this was her duty and helping customers on the floor was his, but apparently not. She didn't respond to me and went and got Matthew to ring me up. I wouldn't have even left a review if it had ended here, but after this she pulls out her phone and starts sending a text or surfing the web while Matthew once again helps us out. I'm only writing this because you guys have a great employee named Matthew and he's being taken advantage of by a lazy worker who is a waste of labor. Loved the store though!
