She listened to our needs and what we liked and didn't like based on the shoes we tried on and then gave more recommendations based on what we said. This place is so cool, there was no pressure to buy anything either which I appreciate and we were to try out everything we wanted to. While the prices were high, you can really feel the quality of everything from the shoes to the socks. I ended up buying 2 pairs of socks after speaking to Talia about my issue when I run. I am shocked at this establishment. My husband bought a pair of shoes there. He purchased the jc penny ones and went to crown shoes to return the ones he never used, and the female working there said they were worn and would not return. I am shocked as my husband didn't even try on the shoes in the house for me when he got them let alone wear them. They are UNUSED, they have been in the box since he purchased them sitting at the front door. When he came back home after trying to return and told me the lady working the store would not return them I called the store establishment and asked for the manager. The lady on the phone said she was the manager. Her name was Josephine. I said, so you are the store manager and she said yes and then proceeded to say when the manager is not here. So I said can I get the actual store managers name and she told me I need to know what you are calling him for. I said an incident at the store, after asking multiple times she still wouldn't give me his name or when he works and hung up. So I would highly discourage you from purchasing anything at this store as this place is a scam. I will be returning to the store everyday until I see the actual manager, since the woman I spoke with Wednesday 10/2/24 at 4pm would not help me and I believe is the same woman who told my husband he couldn't return the shoes he purchased a week ago. Please contact me via yelp and I will come in to show both my receipts and the new shoes with receipts and dates from both pairs to show that he didn't need them nor wear them. Josephine would not reason with us when it was obvious we had never worn them. I think this was the most frustrating customer service we have received. We were quite upset when we left as we were basically scammed for 165 dollars. I will post our other shoes and our physical receipt as well. Just to show that we had bought a secondary pair two days later that were the original ones he wanted for 88 dollars. I told them that I needed 3 pairs of shoes in black color. One flat, and the other ones with a heel, open toe, and last but not least, nice suede pump with a 3 inch heel. This store is HUGE, two stories that has escalators and I believe I also saw an elevator. While browsing the store, found other things like hosiery, socks, insoles, shoe laces. They also sell boots, slippers, tennis shoes, and more. I mean, it's a Warehouse. Endless opportunities. They also sell shoes by different designers. One of the ladies asked my shoe size and I told her "6". Went to the back and got me 3 pairs of shoes. Tried them on, and they all fit me perfectly by hugging my feet and not letting go. I also got 2 insoles. One small/round toe, and the other one a little longer. It helps your foot to stay in place w/out moving. Store was very nicely stocked, organized and clean. They have a clearance rack, and a drop off box for old shoes. However, they need to be in good condition. Maybe not great, but solid. Good to know for the future. Underground parking validated for the first 90 minutes. I parked outside. Every item has its own value and price. Prices are very affordable. Since my transaction was easy I just gave them my phone number and got my points right away. There are current sales right now and items with a green do is 50% off. So my shoe donations can be used on anything including clearance items. This makes it a super great deal. Took my time browsing for some new boots for Fall weather.
