MandRo is a classic bubble tea/ boba house that also offers shaved snow and other desserts. The big draw to MandRo for me is the Mango sago drink that is surprisingly difficult to find. The mango sago here is overloaded with sago ( clear round starch balls similar to tapioca). The sago is just the right compliment along with the creamy mango drink. Outside of the mango sago drink, Mandro serves more traditional drinks like the classic milk tea and brown sugar with fresh milk. MandRo also has board games which makes it a nice hang out spot if you're looking to get together with friends. Consider MandRo if you like good drinks with a nice relaxed place to hang out. read more

Bingsoo is always my go to with friends when I come to mandro and today is no different. I ordered a small mango bingsoo for me and one other friend and surprisingly, we finished it. The mangos were very sweet but did notice that they sliced the mangos a lot thinner than before so there were less mangos. The ice was fluffy and had no flavor whatsoever but paired with the mango and condensed milk, it was heavenly. read more

The bingsu was good, but I wished they'd given us more creamer since the creamer was an important element, it adds more flavor and sweetness to the bingsu, otherwise it would be very bland without it. The portion was worth the price, but with very little creamer they gave, it was only enough for the first half of the bowl. It would be an extra charge if you ask for another creamer fyi. read more

Stopped by MandRo on the way from Tahoe to the South Bay for a mini nostalgia trip. Per rave reviews, I ordered a mango bingsoo. Mango bingsoo was so-so. The mangos weren't sweet (yeah I know they're not in season but if you're going to have something on your menu, it should be up to par). The shaved milky snow was light and pleasant, if not a little bland. I would not recommend ordering this off season. A regular size is enough for 2 average eaters to share. Drink-wise, the matcha strawberry texture was a bit gritty, but the flavors were pronounced and paired well together. The regular sweetness was a good level for this drink. read more

I don't know what they put in their shave ice but the texture is amazing and it feels like ice cream once you put that amazing white stuff (yes I know it's condense milk) all over the delicious ice creamed filling with the mango all over the top. You can get other flavors too such as strawberries and Chocolate but the mango is the crowd favorite. I tried their season mango Avacado drink, I forgot the nickname but it was okay. Mandro tea house is one of a kind for those who don't want to go far for bingsu. What is that you say? It's a Korean shaved ice dessert that is described by many as having a soft and snow-like texture with lovely fruit and various toppings! There is no way you won't find parking, there are tons! Yes, there is no music. The place could definitely benefit from some happy tunes to match its delicious bingsu, but it's not the end of the world. Take it to go, it tastes even better out in the sunny fresh air! Decide whether you want a regular or large size. The regular portion is ideal for two people, but totally possible to finish if one was super hungry. Hands up, I am guilty of this =) ! There are flavors of fruit that we all are familiar with like classic strawberry and mango. You want something more unique? They have more flavors like injeolmi, matcha red bean, chocolate, or caramel. Which do I get? Strawberry- A pile of thinly tart strawberries covered with a fruit like sweet syrup, condensed milk, and chewy rice cakes on top. In each order you will get an extra mini serving of sweet condensed milk. Add as you get more towards the bottom where there are less toppings! Gets even better when you let the fruit syrup flow down! Mango- Ohh, perfect chunks of naturally sweetened mango that is also covered in fruit syrup! I would suggest ordering both strawberry and mango to have the best of both worlds. Keep in mind it is more expensive than your double scoop of ice cream. You may have had better, but I don't mind paying a little more for a treat that is typically not found elsewhere in our area. These days it is all about trying something new! It took me a while to finally make the drive here. Upon walking in, you immediately get the whole community vibe. You have students on laptops, families spending time together, and groups of friends catching up and playing board games. There is a lot happening in one place. The environment is super inviting and I imagine that it is super easy to spend hours here. Free wifi too! Always a plus! I stayed and sat at a small table for a while and enjoyed taking in the environment as a way to de-stress from my day. I ordered a strawberry matcha latte with boba and it was on point! The matcha wasn't too grainy, the balance between the strawberry and matcha was just right, and it wasn't too sweet. The boba was soft, chewy, and also not too sweet. It was also still a little warm. Tried bingsoo for the first time here and WOW I was blown away. The texture of the ice is very soft and melts on your tongue. I was pleasantly surprised with how tasty the mangos were. They were sliced thinly and complimented the ice perfectly. Another surprise was that there were lots of mango chunks mixed inside the ice. Many places cheap out and only put fruit on top but MandRo goes all out. Eating this with condensed milk makes it even more tasty. But make sure to bring a friend (or two). The mountain of bingsoo is a lot to eat and even after splitting one, I felt like I ate more of the creamy dessert than I should have. read more

Went there around 9pm on Sat night with a group on from a hike. Super tired. Placed our order via the self-serviced pay station and waited. And waited...and waited...and waited!! About 45-50 mins later, we finally got our mango bingsu!! It tasted alright, except the size nothing really fancy about it. Not worth the wait. Could have let all customers know the long wait time before taking orders. read more

My first visit here was pretty disappointing, the customer service was horrible and the milk tea was absolutely disgusting. The drink I received wasn't as dark as the Mandro milk tea pictured on the online menu, unfortunately it tasted like straight unflavored milk. read more

the boba pearls and sago are always fresh. the matcha isn't good in my opinion, but everything else i've tried is 10/10. i work very close to here so i've tried almost everything on the menu -- my favorite is the mango sago. the bingsoo is really yummy with the rice cakes inside it, definitely worth a try. it's usually pretty busy in here and the lights are very sterile, but if you're coming with friends they have little board games and things of that nature. staff is friendly. read more

Solid spot in Davis for milk tea and bingsoo (Korean shaved iced). Have tried a few of their milk teas and they are definitely tasty. Strong on the tea flavor without being bitter and boba is cooked to a chewy, soft consistency. Their drinks aren't too sweet and you can adjust them to your liking. Bingsoos are served in a poke take out container and portions are massive! They fill that puppy up to the brim with sweet snow and toppings of your choice. I usually opt for the mango or strawberry. Snow is soft and creamy and fruit is sweet. Once you top it with the condensed milk, game over! One of my favorite dessert spots in the area. Be sure to check them out! read more

Management should have their employees take a refresher in customer service etiquette. Most horrible workers I've ever met. This worker needs to be fired... why does this place charge automatically for tip, if they dont do anything to deserve it. She gave attitude toward a customer for simply asking if there was any issues and continued to stared into our car until we left. This person is just totally rude and lack of customer service skills. Very rude staff. I asked if I could get a cup and she was like "We don't have cups" even though I saw the cups right in front of me... Got an injelomi (mochi) bingsoo and it was fairly large, but it tasted like nothing lol. The mochi was hard. I would not be able to eat one on my own, nor would I want to. read more

Not today! Drove 30 mins., waited 55 mins. for Bingsoo only to be told that their machine overheated that we have to wait 15 more minutes and had to to take our order to go because they're closing. Or they'll give a "partial" refundwhat choice is worse... please help‍ We should have oredered a tea drink instead coz by the time we get home our Bingsoo is all liquid anyway. read more

I've missed this place so much. I'm not usually in Davis anymore but when I do find time to pass through I always get the strawberry Bing Su and the Mango Sago. The large size of the Bing Su is probably enough for 4 people, a little bit too much if you're sharing between two. I love that they give a side of sweetened condensed milk because you can pour it on after you finish the sweets they already added. I like that with the large you actually get 2 layers of strawberries. One on top and one in the middle. I hope they get back to using dishes soon because they used plastic to go bowls last time I was there. You do have to pay for extra condensed milk. I accidently spilled mine the last time I was here. read more

Every person I know who came to Davis, always says MandRo Teahouse is the best boba in Davis. I was expecting it to be located the university, but you definitely need to have a car or take the bus here! Located inside a small plaza, there is plenty of parking. The signage for MandRo is not very prevalent, but the inside is poppin'! We quickly ordered: 1) Mango milk tea with pearls (50% sweet, 20% ice) // +1 pearls were very good! Not too sweet, and very soft. Could be a bit chewier but I'd rather have cooked boba than not. +/-1 The mango portion was very prevalent, but I wished there was more of the "tea" portion. 2) Roasted rice powder shaved ice (came with red bean and mochi), regular size // -1 The shaved ice was okay- was not very fluffy. +1 good portion size, though! Definitely enough for 3-4 people. -1 Condensed milk was too watered down...seemed more like evaporated milk instead. Note: you can pick between reg or large size! Overall, I give the boba a 3.5 but the shaved ice a 3. At least there is free wifi! read more

Mandro is a staple in Davis and definitely one of my go-to boba shops. Not only that, but they serve bingsoo and I love their mango bingsu. We got the ingeolmi and mango one to share with 5 people and definitely wish we got the smaller size. For those who have never had bingsu before, it is a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings that may include chopped fruit, condensed milk, fruit syrup, and red beans. The "shaved ice" part is not similar to American shaved ice, but instead it is a super light and fluffy dessert and it melts in your mouth within seconds. I highly recommend their drinks and bingsu, they also have board games here! read more

I'm not really a fan of MandRo's boba but my go to is the okinawa MT from here! I got half sweet and it's still pretty sweet so I'd probably get it as close to 25% sweet next time. Mandro has really good desserts (mango bingsoo, taro ball #3 are my faves). Their specialty drinks (mango sago, Hawaii fruit tea) are also really good. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have savory snacks like popcorn chicken. I also think it's important for any boba shop to have really good basic black milk tea / jasmine milk tea, & their basic milk teas aren't that good. If you're looking to get basic milk tea, other shops in davis are better. Mandros is pretty much only good if you get their specialty drinks / desserts. read more

Mandro is generally amazing and I love going there. But today I got a piece of egg shell in my drink??? This has literally never happened before, but there is absolutely no reason for there to be egg in brown sugar fresh milk. Since the only ingredients in it should be milk, brown sugar syrup, and boba... Furthermore, this Mandro location only offers bingsoo and taro balls, neither of which need to be cooked or require ice. I will consider the fact that they might be experimenting with new menu items, but even then there shouldn't be egg shell in my drink... read more

I come here often, and I don't expect much other than getting what I paid for. I ordered a Match Red Bean milk tea with Boba included, and the order did not have boba in my drink. By the time I realized it, I was too far to go back. So I called to let them know, but they didn't answer. I came back today to let them know about it, and the person taking the order whom I told about the situation said, "We don't make that mistake." WTF? All I needed to hear was a sincere apology, but they don't seem to care about their customers not getting what they paid for! Also, If you use the machine in the front, they charge you additional $0.75 or so service fee. read more

I'm only ever here when I have a boba craving and this place hits the spot every single time! Granted, Davis is littered with so many boba spots but this one is kind of out of the way but absolutely worth it! Why? They have Korean bingsoo, that's why! I'm so in love with their seasonal flavors and the clear winner for me is the mango bingsoo. It's super fine shave ice, with fresh mangoes all over and extra condensed milk if you feel like it. It's very similar to my fav bingsoo place in Seoul, sulbing cafe! Oh yes, the drinks especially the Hawaii fruit tea and the lemon kumquat tea are my two go to drinks. In this insane summer heat, it's always better to have a refreshing drink! These two hit the spot each time. Service has always been consistently good and tables clear up fast if you wanna eat your bingsoo there! They also have board games for those who want to hang out as well! Therefore a few of us and we each tried something different and everything tasted great. I usually dont like my boba drinks too sweet so ordered it half sweet light ice which was perfect.

There are classic cookies to choose from but a few deluxe cookies and brownies that costs more and are larger in size. TOTALLY WORTH IT!! And also a variety of ice cream flavors. I was very happy to see that they had an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie with walnuts and no disgusting little raisins. Yay!! I ordered that and a chocolate peanut butter cup. These cookies were boxed warm. They were gooey and delicious with a fresh out of the oven goodness!! I died. I was very pleasantly surprised that their cookies were still good the next day. I was afraid they would taste as good at room temp, but they are still very good and fresh! Good on them for having 3 vegan cookie options and 1 gluten-free cookie. An oasis in the middle of Davis of all places. Perfect for the weeb college student or any one else who lives there.

The buns arrived at the table, and they were immediately visibly noticeably different, but it wasn't until we tried them that we noticed that there's also a huge taste differential. There was very little filling compared to what we're used to. It was mostly bun, more than anything else. When the buns were placed on the table, there was no contact with us/the table to find out how we we're doing, about the food, etc. Very much felt like a churn and burn moment. Based on the lack of Customer Service, and poor food quality, we opted to not waste any more time or money, and we would find another place to dine at. Thankfully, we are closer to the Roseville location and will still continue to enjoy the food there. We definitely will not be back to this location

It was my first time and I always like to go with their recommendations, which is Furikake Bomb Ahi and Salmon Bomb. Great names because they were bombs! 3. Select Loaded Options aka toppings! I like that you pick a style which includes a set of toppings, instead of selecting the toppings individually. I bet that saves a lot of time. We both got the Delilah's Style which has seaweed salad, cucumbers, surimi crab, wonton chips, edamame, mangoes, massago, furikake and unagi sauce. If you like it spicy, I would get the Tropical Style with spicy mayo. Ahi and Salmon were fresh with mild (but tasty) seasoning that's not too much that you can still taste the fish. I absolutely love the wonton chips. This is not the typical wonton chips. Incredibly crunchy and thicker pieces. The toppings are vibrant, fresh and delicious! The portions are generous. I couldn't finish it in one sitting. Next time I go back I want to try the sushi wrap and musubis. This is a hidden gem in Davis.

It's a great option if you're looking for something sweet.

It's not going to be the best Halal food that you'll get in Davis or anywhere else in the world, but it tasted nostalgic, and I really enjoyed the whole thing. My husband who is currently on campus more than I am noted that the storefront gives you more food than the food truck at the silo. He also said that the food tasted better here.

I got the vanilla lavender earl grey cold foam latte which was a seasonal drink and it was very good. I also got a savory breakfast croissant which I gobbled down before I could take a picture. They had plenty of seating areas so great for students to study or just a place to catch up with friends. Will be back to try a hot coffee next time.

The food is good but customer service is TERRIBLE. My order had two items and they only gave me one and when I asked them about it it gave me so much attitude rolled their eyes and walked away. I was like okay... probably because they're busy so I sat down and patiently waited for my second item. They found my second item, packed it up, and threw it on the counter. I love this place mainly because I can bring my pup inside (very dog friendly). Their drinks are good and I always order the Taro Milk Tea because they add actual taro inside which gives it texture to my drink. I've tried the bingsoo as well and its very good read more

I would say this is one of the better boba shops in Davis because quality of the drinks and of the boba are better than the average boba shops in Davis. I do like the setup of the location and its a cool spot to hang out with friends. read more

It's green matcha foam on top, then this bright blue liquid and white/milk bottom. Once you mix it, it becomes a turquois color. It also taste really good. Refreshing coconut milk/water, subtle sweetness (70% sugar) and strong matcha. When you get to the bottom, you get the bits of coconut. Located directly on C St and tucked in between 3rd & 4th St's in the heart of Davis, this wildly popular family owned-and-operated fro-yo business has been around dating back to 2008. Since then, they have served locals, out-of-towners, and primarily college students that attend UC Davis. Since I don't frequent this area very often, I came here for the first time on Saturday 7/25/2026 at around 8:00pm. Parking was fairly easy to find as there is nearby street parking adjacent to the business. However, keep in mind that it can fill up during the school year as well as days where the Davis Farmers Market takes place across the street at Central Park (on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings). The exterior layout is absolutely stunning with a large grass area with picnic benches and seating to accommodate at least a couple of dozen customers. And since the business itself resembles a house, this creates that illusion you're enjoying a savory dessert in the comfort of your front yard. The interior layout is small though with only minimal seating. However, the flipside is that you are gifted with just over 100 amazingly delicious toppings to choose from. I won't list all of them but some of the toppings that stood out were circus animal cookies, gummi bears, brownie bites, Captain Crunch cereal, yogurt covered pretzels, and much more. And they offer just about every type of nut (walnuts, peanuts, etc.) as well as candy confectioners and syrups imaginable. The fruit section (which is in a chilled refrigerated case) offers fresh strawberries, mangos, blueberries, and much more. During my visit, it was crowded but not to the point where I was bumping into anyone. As is the case for other self-serve frozen yogurt shops, this place is familiar territory where you grab either a medium or large cup and start serving yourself. I went with a mix of chocolate, butter pecan, and cheesecake frozen yogurts with various toppings to complete my dessert. Since they go by weight, I spent just under $6 for a fairly reasonable amount of frozen yogurt w/toppings. Overall, everything tasted great with no complaints. Best of all, their hours of operation are 11am-11pm Sun-Thu and 11am-11:30 Fri-Sat. With above average service, reasonable prices, and an endless amount of toppings, I am giving "Yoloberry Yogurt" an above average four star rating.
