I went there a few times and I can tell you it was alright. I got their food this one time and I found a little friend in my toso chicken a freaking whole cockroach was sandwiched and burned obviously this shows their kitchen is unsanitary and filled with a sizable amount families of cockroaches. I hope the FDA is reading this and goes back to recheck these guys because the cook must have been really blind not to notice a cockroach about the size of the takeout platter inside. I don't want to include the photo because you might want to go throw up the existing food you have in your stomach that's how DISGUSTING it was. Prices can be a bit ridiculous for certain items but the food, is more often than not, amazing. And this review was for 3 events in one. How do you even know what day or time I am referring to? Look this place needs to work on their customer service and many of your other reviews say the same thing. The same goes with your quality of food. Those two go hand in hand for a great restaurant. I appreciate that you will take steps to work on things. It will definitely bring back a lot of your lost customers especially the old ones. If you ever feel incredibly hungry and need a huge meal, this place is for you then. I've been coming here for many years now, first as kid with my family and now as an adult with my friends. The food here overall is pretty good, great General Tso chicken and great Jasmine tea! If I could give less than 1 star I would. After a long day, we ordered a basic meal, beef & broccoli and general tso. It was the absolute WORST meal we have ever had considering it cost us $60. So this was an interesting and memorable experience but not in the way you'd imagine it go at a nice Chinese restaurant. Today I enjoyed an onion party here when I mistakenly entered this establishment. I saw the incredibly long menu (which for some reason has no descriptions for anything?!), and decided on a chili chicken and chefs special chicken. I was in for a treat. What I got was two bowls of cold thick sliced onions and peppers. In fact there was nothing chili or special about either dish. It was a tasteless, flavorless, embarrassment of a meal, which the restaurant should be quite frankly ashamed of. I would not recommend this place to anyone who likes tasty food. I really like Mandarin. My mom had our family and extended family over for dinner here not too long ago and everything went well. The fish here is exceptional no matter how it is cooked. We really liked the Hunan style. The Mongolian beef and Hakka (very spicy) noodles were also favorites. We did not however like the Kung Pao Shrimp. it was cooked in a syrupy sweet sauce unlike we have ever had before. No one ate it and when a staff member noticed the uneaten portion, she offered to have it replaced with another option, so we ordered another portion of the Mongolian beef since everyone liked it so much. A pitcher of soda is $6, the food is moderately priced, but delicious. There is something for everyone on the menu! read more

I came here with a group of 8 on a Saturday night, it wasn't busy at all so we were seated rather quickly. Overall, I really liked this place and would come back again, however there were a few things that I did not like. First, the restaurant was a little dirty, even though they cleaned our table it still felt sticky. Second, I wish our waitress would have told us that we were ordering too much food because we didn't realize how huge the portion sizes were. I've ordered take out from here twice recently and it's just as good as I remembered when I use to eat here years ago! Their vegetable lo Mein and Kung Pao chicken with peanuts is so delicious! The lo mein has a variety of veggies (mushrooms, slices of carrot, pea pods) and the Kung Pao chicken is always juicy and flavorful. You're also given a side of steamed white rice which tastes really good with the Kung Pao chicken. I've never had a problem with service and our food was always hot and prepared in a timely manner. My family and I used to visit this place often but with time we stopped going here. The reason is management and staff. The staff is loud and rude. My father simply asked for a server to come to the table and the server yelled saying OK we are coming it's busy! No it wasn't busy there were 2 tables that were occupied. They were standing and chatting/gossiping. The interior is totally falling apart. Tables are dirty and chairs are torn! Who would want to eat in such a place? Even the floors are not clean. When customers are done eating clean the floor along with the tables and chairs. The food is good but not the best. There have been times when the food is either too dry or has a lot of salt/sauce. Anyway the management needs to improve. I prefer not to eat at such a place because looking at the interior makes me uncomfortable. Perhaps take a peek into their kitchen it might be worse. This restaurant is the only Chinese food that serve halal meet around the area, my family and I usually come here after prayers for a good meal. Until today, we have ordered combination fried rice, steak and peppers and beef fried rice. When we started eating we found lots of hair in it that threw us off , immediately we asked for a refund and we were told that it will take 3days for the refund. Order came timely and pleasantly, but omitted the fried rice with the broccoli dish. Called back and asked them to deliver a side to us. They complied. I felt that the prices have gone up but the flavor and the portions are the same. I had the lo mein which was less flavorful than usual. This used to be my favorite Mandarin Restaurant.. one of the main reasons was because it was down the street from me. Tonight my fiancé ordered us some food. Wonton Soup. Beef & Broccoli & Sweet & Sour Chicken. Usually we would get the sauce for the S&S on the side but today they decided to pour it on the chicken. Which by the time it got here, it was soggy and just not edible. My fiancée was not happy. We decided to call them and let them know the situation.. I spoke with an employee very sweet did what she could but could not help. I decided to speak with the manager. She started sweet but then decided to catch a really nasty attitude with me when I asked if by any chance we could return this one because of how the chicken was. I even advised her that the other times we have ordered from here it was always on the side. She then told me that every restaurant pours the sauce on the chicken, which is not true. She then told me I couldn't do anything. "So you mean to tell me I just paid for something that I do not even want." Her response "yes, yes you did." At the end she decided to say she will "let it slide" this once. Which someone shouldn't even say that. I'm sorry but this will be the last time I order from here.
