Um...not a spa. More like a massage center. There were no robes, no lockers, no showers, no steam room, no sauna... just a place where you would check in and sit and wait to be taken to your room where you had your massage appointment. The massage wasn't bad, not great either, the therapist used her elbows a lot. THERE was a BIG push to upgrade -a scalp treatment for $35 and hot stone massage for more money and I just wanted a deep tissue massage. I finally consented to do the upgrade to the scalp massage and later regretted it because I left a grease ball with no way to shower after the treatment. AND then came the HARD sell to buy the products they used during the massage. I didn't appreciate the pressure that they put me under to purchase stuff and I didn't appreciate the hard sell to upgrade the massage, it ruined the experience for me. Oh and by the way, they really need to rename it. "Mandara Massage Center" and lose the "spa" verbiage altogether. The other bad experience we encountered was my niece was getting a massage in the next room. They were pressuring her to upgrade and she was very uncomfortable - her very first massage. Her therapist interrupted my massage to ask if she could do the scalp upgrade. I have never been interrupted during a massage before. A little unnerving. The nail in the coffin (one star review)...The women's restroom with two stalls - both were non- functioning. I am like, "You've got to be kidding me!" $900 in two massages, no spa, being pressured to buy stuff and not even a working toilet! I hope this review gets someone's attention so they do better for their Hilton hotel guests. No one is "Sliving" here.

It's a nice spa, very sweet workers. We got our massages and it was wonderful. The reason for the 4 stars is that they never tell you that you will be automatically charged for tip so I ended up tipping twice and no one stopped me or said anything. They should tell you in advance that you will be charged 20% for tip. Would I go back yes I would now I know I will not tip twice.

I was so disappointed!!! there's no spa. It's just two floors of open space. A lobby selling products and they have services that are awesome, of course, but you have no Spa facility. For a spa to be called a Spa, You have to have robes, a shower, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna.....

As soon as you check in for your appointment, there are forms you will have to complete and while you do that, you are provided with a warm face towel and soothe the nerves and to begin your relaxation treatment. The staff member that greeted me was very warm and welcoming. You are offered a luxurious robe and slippers to wear during the entirety of your spa treatment. Prior to entering your treatment room, they ask you to wait in a beautifully curated and super cute room with a water dispenser and mixed nuts for you to enjoy while you wait. It was a whole vibe with low lighting , modern touches and such comfortable lounge chairs. Donna was the female who served me. She seemed very knowledgeable about how to better care for my skin and was thorough with each step she took. After your treatment, you have the option to take a nice, warm bath in their state of the art, delta showers and help yourself to the products in the bathroom. I can't wait to visit again :)

It was totally an immersive experience and I could not have asked or more relaxing break My masseuse was named Kate. It was awkward and unprofessional, and it set a bad tone right away. After I changed and put on the robe they provided, she later told me I needed to put my hair up. I didn't have a hair tie, so I asked if they had one. What made this strange is that everyone else in the spa had their hair down, and I was planning to shower anyway with shampoo and conditioner. It felt like I was being singled out. As someone with curly hair, it made me feel targeted and uncomfortable, especially since no one else was asked the same thing. She also made a comment about keeping the sauna clean, which honestly made no sense. I had just arrived and had done nothing that would make it dirty. The comment felt unnecessary and insulting. For context, I had just gotten off a 5 1/2 hour flight and couldn't check into my Airbnb yet, so I came here just to shower and kill time. Instead of feeling relaxed and welcomed, I felt judged and uncomfortable the entire time. Overall, this was not a good experience. If you're looking for a spa that's welcoming and respectful, I'd suggest going somewhere else. I personally would not return.

I got to the facility ~30 mins before my appointment. An employee walked me through the facility and provided instructions. I used the hot tub and plunge pool before the scrub. After my session was done with Mina, I had lunch with friends. After that, I used the dry and charcoal rooms. The business was clean and organized. They had lockers for us to store our things in. The posted signs on the wall were a little confusing, but you can always ask the staff if you are unclear. They were friendly. In the beginning, I was a little nervous about booking for my group after reading the negative reviews and responses, as I wanted the day to go smoothly since we were there to celebrate birthdays. For me, I expect more if I'm paying a total of $187 for a 60-minute massage. FACILITY: There's a utilitarian wet sauna (e.g., no aromatherapy), dry sauna, and hot & cold pools inside; a small lounge area is outside with what appears to be a jacuzzi. I say "appears" because I just happened to notice the jets. There was no sign identifying it or explaining how to turn it on. The wet sauna was off and there was no sign explaining how to turn that on, either. PERSONAL AMENITIES: You're given a nice robe and one towel. I was only told to bring a bathing suit, so I was expecting disposal spa slippers. Nope. I had to walk everywhere barefooted, including the locker area where people (naturally) had walked in their outside shoes. Ugh. You could pick up a small tube of hand/body lotion, a small shaving kit (disposable razor & tube of generic shaving cream) and/or a small vanity kit (tiny nail file, cotton swabs & cotton pad) at the sinks. There were no snacks or even drinking water available unless you had a massage -- then you were given a bottle of water when it was over. MASSAGE: This is the first time I thought to myself, while getting a massage, "This woman could easily kill me with her bare hands!" Her hands were that strong. She'd asked me if I wanted my massage "hard" or "soft," and I replied, "medium, and we'll see how that goes." Well, it went very painfully at times -- I had to tell her repeatedly to go softer. It's a week later and my shoulders still hurt with certain movements. SERVICE: The receptionist (the only person always onsite; the masseusses and such are called in when needed) was not very gracious when I asked her how to turn on the wet sauna and only reluctantly went back and did it ... so I didn't bother to request her help to use the jacuzzi. Clear communication, in general, was lacking. For one, I was told on the phone that a bathing suit was necessary for the saunas, but once I got there, was told I could choose to just wear a towel. I've read the other reviews, and I see that they offer a kamaaina discount. No one told me that, even though I said at multiple points (on the phone and onsite) that I lived in the neighborhood. BOTTOM LINE: I'll try some other day spa next time I want to pamper myself.
