Hidden in like the sketchiest looking building across the street of Alohiulani hotel resides a nice Japanese massage spot. A little bit of a rough start as they some how lost our appointment after confirming with us the week before on date and time. So the person who was there had to scramble and call in another masseuse in. To make up for it we were offered some scented oils to go along with our massage. We got a 75 min couple's massage. They had a small curtain dividing the two of us. I prefer the places that don't have a division for couple's massage, like that's the whole point no? I guess we were in the same room so there is that. The massage itself was really nice, I liked that they wiped you down with a nice warm towel after since normally you're all oily. After we were done the other masseuse was the one to ring us up, she was kind of pushy and even after saying I was going to pay cash was saying I had to pay credit card rate until i showed her a text for the cash discount. Also really pushy with 20% tip read more

AMAZING & HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I booked 4 massages for my family and myself. I called Saturday and was able to make the appointments super quick and easily for Monday! Off the bat, the owner was so sweet and explained all the rates/deals going on. They just opened at a new location, which he described as well. After the booking was completed, he texted me the details. He also followed up to ensure everything was ready for Monday. Once there, everyone was SO welcoming and sweet. We did 4 lomi lomi 90-minute massages and each added one extra 10-minute item (head massage & deep foot massage). My husband and I get massages often (i.e. pebble beach & watercourse, in CA), and this was one of the best massages I've ever gotten. The ladies knew what to target and explained the tight areas they went to. They applied the right amount of pressure and checked in to see if it was good. I also want to note, that some guests on my reservation have injuries, so some areas hurt more than others, the massage therapist handled those extremely well. They walked out feeling amazing. I enjoyed all 100 minutes of that massage. The prices for Hawaii were super reasonable. I know on vacations we tend to lean toward resorts, etc., but do NOT miss out on this location. You will 100% enjoy the massage and come out completely reseted. We can not wait for our next trip to this island. Thank you Kahuna & Mana Massage! read more

It's a nice little spot on the 8th floor of a building in the city. I called ahead to book my appointment and they were able to take me within 10-15 minutes! They also sent me information on how to get there through text, which was very helpful, as it's not the most intuitive place to reach. Massage was a lomi-lomi and was very well done. The masseuse was kind and attentive, and very personable. Her lomi-lomi was a mix of soft and moderate to pressure. I would often think that the softer motions weren't going to do much, but was proven wrong by her persistent technique - she really knew what she was doing! It was a head to toe relaxing experience! Would definitely go again, and the price was very reasonable, especially for the area. They take credit aswell, which is obviously a plus! read more

I went there for a massage with my husband. When we arrived, we wanted to get the Lomi Lomi massage which was $78 when we inquired on the phone. However we were told at the spa that Lomi Lomi massage will be very light and soft, and might not be comfortable for me. And the therapist suggested that we should get deep tissue massage at $90. I went ahead and insisted getting the Lomi Lomi at $78. However during the massage, I asked the therapist to apply more pressure. She declined and said that's the massage I chose and if I want more pressure I should get the $90 one. And I ended up switching to $90 one in the middle of my massage. It is dishonest business practice and it feels uncomfortable! However the massage itself is above average and my husband liked it very much. We don't mind paying $90 and we did return one more time but the business practice was not a good experience. read more

*New Location* at 307 Lewers St #809 Lin knows physiology much better than so many other massage therapists. She understood the source of hip and low back stiffness and relieved persistent aches in one treatment. When I asked for 'lighter than deep tissue' she said "don't waste your time, won't do any good. It won't hurt, tell me if you want more or less pressure." I've never had a better result than today's session. Definitely will be back to Lin. Centrally located in Waikiki, in older office building but don't let the exterior turn you away. Clean facility, three private treatment rooms and a small reception area. Reasonable fees for excellent treatment! read more

This massage literally changed our lives. I have been walking around with pain in my right shoulder after sleeping on it and we immediately booked 2 couples massages after an 8 hour flight here. The masseuses were from another world. So attentive and the 90 min couples massage was way worth it! I had the deep tissue and my partner was the lau lau massage. Also + LGBTQ friendly!!!! read more

THE BEST MASSAGE WE'VE EVER HAD! My husband and I booked a 75 min deep tissue couples massage after a grueling 10 mile/7.5 hour hike and we came out of the massage good as new! They accommodated our appointment same day. Our masseuses were Lani and Lin, who were just so welcoming, kind, friendly, and amazingly talented. They were so thoughtful and had great techniques. We also loved that they would ask if you had any specific areas to focus on and tailored the massages perfectly to each person. We would 10/10 recommend and we will most definitely be back! read more

So relaxing and worth it! I think it's probably the best quality of massage I've ever had :) they are super kind and really nice. I'd definitely come back! Discount if you pay cash!! read more

Amazing Massage, these lovely ladies know exactly what they are doing and I highly recommend a visit if you need. Easy to book online as well if you know what you need. I have to say that I was very soar after my deep tissue massage, but it was worth it, it is my own fault as she asked me to let her know repeatedly if it was too hard so that she would not make me soar the next day. It had been a long time since my last massage and my back was very tight and I needed the 2hour massage to loosen me up. Thank you so much for what I can only describe and the first proper massage that I have every had, it is a shame that this was my holiday, when I return to Hawaii I will make sure that I return for another excellent massage. Thank you. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Highly recommend if you are in need of a great therapeutic massage. It was very clean with reasonable prices and a great experience all around. We're looking forward to our next visit. read more

Hidden in plain sight, they're an easy walk from a number of hotels in Waikiki. I got a 75-minute deep tissue massage, and I feel like a whole new person! read more

Great place to get a massage. My neck and shoulders are usually pretty stiff and I usually have a lot of knots. I have been surfing and swimming a lot while in Hawaii! My preference for a massage is generally with more pressure and deep tissue. The masseuses have a great range of pressure from relaxing to deep tissue almost like a sports massage. Highly recommend as the place has a great value with tips included. The spot is clean and well taken care of and they are very nice and easy to book so far. read more

I've visited Hawaii plenty times and I always love relaxing and getting massages, and it was my first time visiting this spa, and the therapist I had named Takako was AMAZING! She hit all the right places and was soo considerate and made sure the pressure was right though out the whole session! And I loved that! Apparently she's been massaging for a long time and it really showed for how accurate she was. I can honestly say that was the best massage I've ever gotten! So I definitely would absolutely recommend her. This spa and her will always be my go to from now on! If I could put more stars I would! read more

I came to Hawaii for two months as a travel nurse. As a nurse, my body is constantly sore and a massage is necessary for me to feel better. When I say I visited this place twice a week for two months, i am not lying!! After multiple shifts in a row, this was the one thing I looked forward too! They give THE BEST massages I have ever had. They focus on where the pain and tightness is at and will fight every knot in your body. They are very strong! When my family came into town, i had to show them this place and they completely agree that this was the best massage they ever got. The workers are also very kind and accommodating. I would literally pay a plane ticket back for Waikiki just to get another massage! Missing them already. -Yen read more

Lani is fantastic. She listens to direction very well & has so many techniques for working on a concentrated area. I had her do an hour on my shoulders and back alone and she kept doing different techniques to break down the tightness. I went back a second time to see her before I left today. Tip her well!! She's so worth it!! read more

Came here for a couple massage. No frills but the masseuses were very nice and provided a strong massage at a great price. Highly recommend if you need a massage in Waikiki! read more

Great massage. After a long plan ride Lani hit all of the right spots in a deep tissue massage. I would highly recommend this place.

AMAZING massage. We had Christine and Zoey, they were VERY GOOD. They got all our knots out and we're friendly and professional. One of the BEST massages we've ever had. read more

I believe the masseuse said her name was "Linny" a Japanese woman. I have to say, for 90 minutes only costing $104 in Waikiki, it was amazing! She knew exactly what she was doing, and knew how to manipulate my muscles and work out the knots and I felt like a bag of sand lying on the massage table. I would definitely come back! read more

Awesome Massage Therapist with great customer service the rooms are clean, the soft Was great massage we loved it read more

One of the best massages I've ever had! I came there very stressed and my therapist, Annie, was able to get out all of my knots and had a completely relaxing experience! I made my appointment just hours before I was seen. For resort area the price was amazing! $78 for an hour and $5 off if paying cash. They said it included tip but I tipped anyway cause Annie was so good. The only negative is that the building it's in is a bit run down but that's probably why the price is so good. Highly recommend!! read more

Fantastic deep tissue massage and totally worth the price. Totally what we needed after a couple days of surfing.

After reading reviews, I was gonna come here on my last day in Waikiki but I had shin pain and I went in one day earlier. Tomoko (I think that's my masseuse name) was AMAZING. Well amazing is still an understatement. She understands how each muscle functions or relates to different activities. And she was extremely flexible to focus troubled areas - not a routine massage. I still returned next day for more massage. This is a hidden gem! I shall return again!!! read more

I wanted a great massage...and did not want to pay the ridiculous prices at one of the resorts whilst on a work trip. They were very responsive when I emailed for an appointment about 1.5 weeks out. They called to confirm the morning of and were ready when I arrived. Great massage and great prices. Would highly recommend. read more

I am in love with this place! I visit Hawaii every year at least 2x a year. I make sure to go to see Takako every time I go to the islands. I found Kahuna & Mana Massage about 2 years ago but have been going to Hawaii for the last 5 years ( besides last year because of COVID). Ever since I have found this spa, I cant see myself going anywhere else. The therapist Takako is very considerate and was the best! I would highly recommend anyone visiting the island of Oahu looking for a great spa, please don't deny yourself of the best experience you could get at the spa in Waikiki Kahuna & Mana Massage. read more

The price is reasonable. The service/massage was excellent. I would come back. I went in tense and came out relax. Highly recommend.

3.5 stars for this place - would return again - location is convenient to Waikiki but a little strange setup. After walking all day and adventuring all week our whole group was in need of a foot massage. Most places in the area were already booked or seemed a bit off so we decided if we were going to try a sketchy place why not the one next to our hotel. We had great luck with hole in the wall places while here in Oahu and this place was right along those lines. We were a little nervous to try it - just a room with two massage beds divided by a curtain - but in the end we were all glad that we did. Not the best massage I've ever had but a nice massage for a great price. $60/hour massage includes tip. The four of us went two at a time - no complaints and all would go back. Great way to relax and unwind as long as you aren't looking for a spa. All certifications and licenses were hung right inside too...so they definitely know what they're doing. read more

Kahuna & Mana Massage - Same building as the Msubi place we love - Skin Care Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I had such a great massage here. I called and the team was able to fit me in right away. The massage was excellent, really worked out all the aches and pains of attempting to learn how to surf. My masseuse even went the extra mile of putting aloe on my sun burns. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Had the best massage by Lin last night! They were able to schedule me within 15-20mins. Very professional and accommodating. Their prices already included tip but I added more for such a relaxing 60mins massage. Lin focused on the spots I told her that were my problem areas. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. We were staying at the Waikiki Resort and the location is literally just steps away. Will def come back here when we come back for another vacay. read more

Negative! The place smells like wet dirty laundry. The person that I had does not know what she is doing. This place should be shut down. So many things that didn't feel right. read more
