I recently visited Dragon House for their famous soup dumplings, and overall it was a great…read moreexperience. The dumplings themselves absolutely lived up to the hype--perfectly delicate with a flavorful broth inside. We also ordered the dim sum combination, additional dim sum, and lo mein, and everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The variety in the dim sum was impressive, and the lo mein had a great texture and seasoning that tied the meal together nicely. You can tell there's real skill in the kitchen when it comes to the food. My only complaint was noticing the staff making the fresh dumplings eating personal food while working. It took away a bit from the overall experience and professionalism you'd expect, especially in an open kitchen setting. That said, the food quality is definitely worth it, and I'd still recommend stopping by if you're craving authentic soup dumplings in the area. Solid 4 stars!

I was looking forward to Dragon House, but it was average at best. We ordered the fried tofu…read moreappetizer and the hand-pulled noodles with veggies. The tofu actually came out after the noodles, and the sweet chili sauce it was served with was rather thick. I think a different sauce, or having the tofu coated in the sauce, would have been much better. The noodles had good flavor overall, but there were barely any vegetables, and the noodles seemed a little chewy. I would have preferred lo mein noodles instead. The price was also pretty steep for the noodle dish. I've had better tofu and noodles elsewhere. I had to ask for chili oil, and our server only checked on us once. It was an early Thursday evening and the restaurant wasn't busy. I think this place is probably more popular for its soup dumplings and dim sum. Oh, and there were also flies around our table, which was very off-putting.

First time. Service was responsive. Came to try the "Szechuan Boiled Fish," which is my fav…read more But actually, I tried the "Sliced Fish in Spicy Oil." Both are similar $26 fish soups. Should've done a side-by-side, but it was only me. Lol. The fish was exquisite. The heat was also good. This dish pairs really well with rice; I also enjoy taking the leftovers home, letting them sit overnight in the fridge, and enjoying with more rice. Mmm! But I am from out of town and was alone, so I ate it all there. They don't have WiFi, but there was some "guest Frontier" WiFi that was good for an hour. (And you can refresh it each hour.) Next time, I would try the "Szechuan Boiled Fish." Or if that's too much, the Mapo Tofu. The radio was playing like Christian soul; new to me, but as a Christian, I didn't mind. =) Oh, and in the pic I have my Kefir from Trader Joe's. I wanted something dairy to counter the heat, if needed. Mmm.

Tried Noodle Works for the first time, after hearing about it on social media. I placed an online…read moreorder for the two chicken egg rolls, Spicy chili wontons, general Tso chicken and an order of fried rice flat noodles. All the food was on the expensive side, but I heard it was good, so I didn't mine. One of the first thing I noticed was the entrees do not come with rice. There is a $1 up charge for white rice and $3 for fried rice, $5 for noodles. I have never experienced a Chinese restaurant that charged for white rice with an entree (not even PF Chang). I arrived 10 minutes after the time I was told my food would be ready. I checked in at the register and was told it would be another 5 minutes. I was told to have a seat and wait. Since there is no place to sit when waiting for a take out order, I sat down in the closet booth next to the register. After about 1 minute, a very rude lady came over in broken English and screamed that I could not sit there. I told her I was waiting on a to-go order and she just kept screaming "you don't can sit there", so I got up and stood by the front door. If my food had not already been paid for, I would have left after that rude encounter. The ambiance of the restaurant is very strange as they had a boombox loudly playing 80s music. It was so load, I felt bad for the customers who were eating at there. No way you could enjoy siting there listening to the annoying loud music while you ate. About 5 minutes later (15 minutes past the time they originally told me it would be ready) my food was ready. The food did come out very hot. I retrieved my food and took it home to enjoy. Overall the food is very basic and not worth the elevated price. The egg rolls were over fried and greasy. The spicy wonton were very bland and not spicy at all. The general Tso chicken was not good. Very small pieces of chicken, over breaded and a bland sauce. Again not spicy at all. The fried flat rice noodles were the biggest disappointment. Mushy noodles that were all stuck together. Not good at all. Overall the Noodle Works was a big disappointment. There are so many better option in the area (Dragon House or the Wok). Do yourself a favor and skip the rude staff Noodle Works.

The sound of the sizzling wok in the kitchen can be heard in the dining room as each dish is meticulously prepared to order. My service was fantastic! While I was awaiting my order, my server saw me taking photos from my seat and asked if I wanted her to grab me some closer shots, I was impressed! Being waited on by someone who cares about your experience MAKES the experience! Thanks so much Dharani! For my lunch, I ordered the Chef's Special Prawns, think of it as lightly breaded shrimp in a spicy garlic sauce. For lunch, it comes with a choice of soup and choice of rice. I got Egg Drop and Steamed Rice as my choices. My entire meal was great! This place is a definite repeater!

But that wasnt the l kicker. I wanted to have a nice lunch and talk to my daughter. The waitress rushed us so that it bordered obscene! She interrupted us sooo many times and I'm not complaining that she was too efficient, she was annoying to the point of rude. I couldnt get in any good conversation as we couldnt even complete a thought! She was obviously wanting to turn the table quickly BUT A- they were not busy B-they had plenty of tables available C-they were not on a waiting list D- customers were only trickling in so she did NOT need our table, if she did I wouldve understood. People not only pick a restaurant for its food but also for the ambiance and comfortableness of it. I kept telling her we were fine, hoping she'd get the hint, she didnt. And unless you had experienced it, you probably are thinking it sounds like she was a good efficient waitress, but NO, it was so rude, and I'm sure she was trained to get customers in and rush them out as the manager lady kept coming over too as if we needed more interruptions! So by you rudely rushing us out may have got you a table quicker that you didnt even need but now youve lost a customer, so please make note of this, you were not on a waiting list, you did not need that table, so let your customer have an enjoyable experience and quit being interruptive and rude. Sure refill the tea, tale a plate, ask us if we are alright but then thats it, we were not there long, we ended up leaving and went to talk in the car. Thanks for a very bad experience, you only got two stars because I enjoyed my soup even though it was small, by the way egg drop soup costs pennies to make, you didnt need to make that smaller!
