To eat we ordered the sautéed mussels and then I ordered the traditional Greek salad for my dinner and he ordered the farmhouse pasta. Overall the food was good. The potato salad in the Greek salad was random but good I enjoyed it. It also had a good portion of chicken on it. My bf liked the pasta but not the sauce (aka broth) he said it tasted like ramen with the broth and I couldn't agree more. Not the best pasta dish we've had. I will say our service was awkward. Although our bartender was friendly she seemed very drunk. She was dropping glasses, slurring and just seemed out of it -- but not THAT out of it because our ordered came out correct so there's that!

It felt private but also just one step outside before feeling like you're at a party. Slept wonderfully and drank happily. We did everything the resort offered and I am already looking into another stay there or even a day pass. Kayaking was a ton of fun and the pools are perfect. Over two consecutive days, we completed four dives at French Reef, City of Washington, Hannah M Bell, and the Benwood Wreck. The dive masters did a great job leading the dives and making the experience both fun and relaxed. They also captured outstanding photos and videos during the trips and shared everything afterward via Flickr, with more than 300 photos and 60 videos from the two days. We had an amazing time and will absolutely dive with them again the next time we return to the Keys.

This was the second time I did one of River of Grass Adventure's boat tours. Both times, my guides…read more/ boat Captains were great. They are passionate about the Everglades, preserving it, and really love what they're doing. For about hour, we zipped and stopped around the park, through channels in between the high saw grass, over grassy flats, and within a few canals dredged many years ago. The fresh air felt great and I think maybe my blood pressure eased for a few moments. We saw wildlife, including a peregrine falcon, other birds and of course, many alligators, either resting on the grass or swimming off to do whatever it is they do. The guides I think know pretty much where to find the alligators, some of which have names. River of Grass is one of the first swamp tours west of Miami off of highway 41 past the casino. The boats take you pretty far into the Everglades where you don't see or hear any civilization, only the quiet rustle of the grass, i.e. when the engines are not powering the boat thru the glades (why can't they make a quieter engine?). The kitchen is plenty spacious with all of the kitchen necessities you will need. There is even a half bathroom near the kitchen and living area. Upstairs has a washer and dryer and even detergent. All of the bathrooms were new, nice and have hair dryers. The beds were comfortable. They provide parking for 2 cars which is nice. It was a short walk from our villa to the pool area. There is a covered section with tables and a cute little pool. Right behind the pool is the dock and a grill area. We will certainly be back!

We came out on 12/26 with the family to explore the Everglades, and let me tell you--it was an experience. First, you get an email with coordinates of where to meet. Pro tip: do not use Waze unless you enjoy being abandoned on the side of the freeway like a confused extra in a nature documentary. The coordinates lead you to a couple of unmarked pickup trucks and a few guys casually hanging out at the edge of the Everglades. No restrooms, no gift shops, no docks, no parking lots, no snacks. If nature calls, well... be prepared to answer it off the side of the airboat. Our boat guide was super prompt and helped us climb aboard. I was a little surprised there were no seatbelts or life jackets, but apparently when the water is only 18 inches deep. Our guide stopped every 20 minutes or so to talk about wildlife or check in with us. While the motor is running, you can't hear a thing, but they do give you earmuffs to help dampen the noise. We saw all kinds of birds and more than two dozen alligators during our 1.5‑hour expedition. The weather was a perfect 72 degrees with zero humidity, and the boat glides so smoothly it feels like you're floating on butter. Highly recommend this company and the whole experience. It's wild and absolutely worth it.

The buildings are very cute. Kind of an old school Keys feel. Our room had a view of the bay with a few trees blocking the horizon. (See pictures) The bed was very comfortable. It was very cold on the weekend that we were there, so we used the extra blanket in the closet. There's a dock to hangout on but it was too windy and cold to hangout for too long. There's a tiny "beach" (see picture). There are a lot of nice places to relax outside. There was parking directly in front of our room. The prices were reasonable. I would return again and stay longer.

I liked that they had no carpet in the rooms. The internet works most of the time and the AC worked well. Beds were comfortable. There is no housekeeping service except between guests. There is no food or restaurant on the premises but you can walk to a bar and restaurant. If you have a car or Uber there are plenty of restaurants close by. The diving. I dove with them for 5 days. have been certified for 38 years. The staff is Highly trained and knowledgeable. I noticed that Erica and January did the bulk of the work when they were on board, the guys tried to look busy. January and Erica were both very helpful, courteous and made us feel welcome. Other standouts were Nick Christina,and Tom, again they made us feel welcomed. The boat. Pontoon style, good speed, plenty of room, many ways to exit and ladders. The dives, most were on Molasses reef with a few others including Christ of the Abyss and the Benwood wreck. The visibility varied by day. The best thing about their dives is that they are fairly shallow 20 to 35 ft So it is very safe , ideal for beginners and great if you have not dove in a while.
