This is a small motel in Key Largo and our room may have been the smallest I've ever been in. But I'm quite confident they have larger rooms here. The hospitality of the staff was fantastic. The motel has their own little beach and dock. A manatee actually swam up to the dock and was just steps away from us. It was a special moment. The motel room walls are extremely thin. The room was a little worn but clean. They have kayaks and paddleboards for use. I believe you have to pay to use the paddleboards. We took the kayaks out and it was great fun. They also have nice chairs, a couple of wonderful hammocks, and charcoal grills for use. It's a tiny property and a little rough around the edges but I would have no problem staying here again. It's quaint and friendly and down to earth.

We found this place on a last minute decision to extend our stay in Southeast Florida. We arrived a little early and were surprise to get in our room. Eddie was awesome in getting us set up quickly. More time to enjoy this little slice of paradise! The little beach area was perfect for relaxing. The staff is so friendly and helpful. A light breakfast fare was included and cooked fresh dailey. Those frittatas were awesome!! The rooms are fresh and clean. Need that ice machine working!! A special shout out to my lady in the office who went on the hunt for a lost item of mine. She found it!!! What a beautiful little place to relax and unwind. We are going to try to come back every year. You won't be dissappointed in your stay here. If you are it's not the resorts fault!! My only regret was leaving.

Seafarer Key Largo Resort and Beach is a narrow piece of property running from the overseas highway to the north facing beach. There are a number of dwellings with stand alone rooms. Some had two rooms attached. We booked a standard large room but when we arrived the young lady said that they had a vacancy in a double bed room closer to the beach for $20.00 more. So we went to see both options. As we entered the original room my wife immediately had an asthma attack from the strong scent in the room. I do not believe that it was the fault of the Seafarer staff. I think a guest may have freshened the room but there was no way she could stay in that room. Fortunately, there was no trouble the other room but it cost us more for a bed we didn't use. The room was dated but adequate and clean. The lockset was not meant for an outside entrance but it kept the honest people honest. The attraction is definitely the small beach which featured a picnic table on a sea wall, a small wading area with a swim platform, picnic tables covered by thatched roofs and lounge chairs so you can lay out. We hit the local Publix market for some food and wine and enjoyed watching the sun set. After a good night's sleep in this quiet setting we packed for the next day and went to have the included breakfast. They have a breakfast counter in front of the laundry shack and put out frittatas and muffins along with some fresh fruit and coffee. It was nice to talk with the other guests but the local squirrels were crazy. One ran up a guests back to leap to a tree and then jumped to my right hand and spilled my hot coffee before preceding across the table and over the fence. I'd like to trap these squirrels and feed them to the tarpon. I do not know what makes the Seafarer qualify as a resort. There is no pool, no workout room, only a few kayaks and some snorkeling equipment in the way of water sport equipment but you do pay a resort fee. Overall the Seafarer isn't a bad place to stay but If I find myself needing a room in Key Largo again I will most likely try a resort with more amenities.

What a Hidden Gem! Just wanted to stay in Key Largo one more night and found this to be inexpensive and close by. I absolutely love it, cute little cottage type rooms, private beach, literally everything you would want in a stay in the Keys, and you can't beat the price! We stayed at a super expensive Resort the previous two nights and had a better time here! not to mention the staff is super friendly!

We LOVED our time in Key Largo and mostly because of this place. It is quaint and a perfect way to enjoy the bayside sunsets, calm waters, beach lounging, kayaking, and feel like you're in paradise. The resort management were kind and helpful although, at times, hard to find. The front office was often left attended, probably because they are so hands on. We greatly appreciate their effort put towards saving water by not replacing towels and linens daily, however, a sweep of the room would be nice. They are upfront about not having daily maid service, so that was fine, but the sandy floor gets irritating. I would've been happy to sweep myself if there were a broom available in the room. We highly recommend Room 11! Its proximity to the beach was perfect. It's definitely worth the extra $. If lizards and the occasional bug in your room would bother you than look elsewhere but if you're easy going like us you will love the Seafarer! I'm so happy we found it.

No frills. But it has everything you need: A bed, a sink, a shower, a toilet, a TV with basic cable and some towels. It's small and the walls are thin but it seemed clean enough. Looks like it was decorated with linens and mismatched furniture from a thrift store. Or maybe it's just the same stuff they've had since the 80s. I had a lovely view of a wooden fence. But if you're on vacay in the keys, hopefully you're out enjoying the sights, sand and sun and not spending much time in your room anyways. The best spot in the complex to watch the sunset is the only hammock out back so get there early before the sun starts to go down.

What a view. Love the island sunning platform

As Hilton Gold members, we were fortunate to receive a small room upgrade at booking, which we definitely appreciated. Let me start with the highlights the resort amenities are wonderful, especially for families. There were plenty of complimentary activities for kids during the day, and even fun nighttime events like dancing that were adorable and well thought out. It truly felt family-friendly, and there was always something going on to keep everyone entertained. The cutest was Santa pics with cookies and milk! The staff was attentive and kind throughout our stay, and honestly, that goes a long way. Great service can elevate an entire experience, and they really delivered on that front. That said, at nearly $1,000 per night during peak season, I did expect the facilities and rooms to be in better condition. The property has so much potential, but parts of it felt a bit rundown for the price point. The rooms could use some attention and deeper cleaning. I completely understand that this is a beachfront resort and sand is inevitable however we noticed quite a bit of sand throughout the room, even on the bed when it had been freshly made. I've stayed at other beach resorts where housekeeping was a bit more thorough in that regard. However nothing crazy but cleanliness is big in my book. One morning, there was also a cockroach at the coffee cart. My husband reported it right away to the front desk. The next few mornings the cart wasn't out, and I'm assuming they were addressing the situation, which I appreciate but it was still a bit off-putting. The on-site restaurants were good not extraordinary, but enjoyable and I felt the pricing there was fair considering it's a resort property. Overall, we had a great experience. The resort has incredible potential, and with a little more attention to upkeep especially considering the premium nightly rate it could easily be a five-star stay. The friendly staff and activities made a big difference.

And don't forget the tax man as he is expensive as well. We had coffee from the coffee truck in the lobby and for a regular coffee and a latte it was $21 with the fees. 2 drinks at the pool was $42 with the fees and 2 apps from the bar last night was $50 with a $5 tip. Total rip off for what you get. We have stayed at Hiltons in 16 countries including the Grand Wailea Maui and have never seen these types of numbers. 10+ years as a Diamond with Hilton and this is a shameful experience. It would be different if the rooms made up for it but they are no better than a redone drive up motel as it is noisy all night long with halls open to the parking lot.

My friends and I had an amazing weekend here lounging by the pool, paddling with the kayaks and paddleboards they offer, and eating at all the amazing restaurants they have within walking distance. I was a little skeptical at first when I realized they didn't have a bar and didn't offer breakfast, but it ended up being a blessing cause we brought what we liked to drink and ate all the amazing local food without having to get in the car. The room was HUGE and we loved that it had two bathrooms, everything was so luxurious and the showers were amazing. The beds were super comfortable (my other friend slept on the Murphy bed and said it was great). The pool was big enough that we were able to have privacy if we wanted or socialize with the other guests if we wanted. Everyone was nice and we had a great time talking to the other guests. Our daughter was recently married here and we did a full three-night resort buyout. While the property itself is absolutely stunning the nine months leading up to the wedding were incredibly frustrating. Communication was consistently poor--weeks would go by without any response. We were promised a Florida Resident Discount by two different general managers, but it was never honored. (This is a significant discount that we did not get as promised). In total, we went through four general managers, each making new promises that never materialized. Even weeks before the wedding, when we were trying to make final payment, we couldn't get a response. When I finally raised concerns with the newest manager, her response was, "I have like six brides all contacting me at once." With all due respect, that's not how you handle a time-sensitive, stressful situation for a bride and her family. To add to the confusion, their website still showed units available just days before our event--even though we had rented out the entire resort. The units themselves are not equipped as expected either--we had to go out and purchase basic items like dish towels, a dish scrubber, pot holders, and more. Their new lanai roof leaks and ruined a couple of the custom built items we thought were safely stored since it's a brand new structure. We unpacked the U-Haul when we got home and had cockroaches in a few of the things stored in the main house.

Outdoor beach beds with curtains and lounge beds with visors you can pull down. The bungalow itself has an indoor shower and also an outdoor soaking tub and shower. You get your own bikes to ride around the property. The air conditioning was very good. The sheets were lovely. Everything was clean and in good working order. It also felt very private. We loved the breakfast buffet. The fruit and pastries were our favorites. We also loved Bogey and Bacall's. We didn't love Sea Senor's as much, although it was really fun and beautiful eating right by the beach. The food was just a bit bland. Another thing that I didn't fully realize until we got there was that there isn't a traditional beach. There is sand but it is lined by a rocky coast. You can swim in the ocean and you access it by stairs. So that is something to keep in mind. The pools were lovely and clean. But they could be bigger and maybe have like a water feature or something to improve the ambiance. The pools all close at sunset. Which also was a bit of a bummer and we weren't sure why. But we enjoyed swimming in them. We also didn't realize that seating around the pool is limited and if we wanted to have chairs by the pool, we'd have to get there early and save seats. The spa was incredible. We got a couples massage and it was one of the best massages I have ever had. Definitely recommend going there and treating yourself. Overall our experience was wonderful and romantic and relaxing.
