10/10 snorkeling experience! I'm from Texas and I don't get to see water so clear often. This water was beautiful, the workers have done a wonderful job rebuilding the reefs. They were all such nice tour guides and very energetic. My group forgot snacks, so I was happy to find snacks were provided. Also a shower, shampoo, conditioner and sunscreen all coral safe. I would highly recommend this place.

I cannot recommend Amoray Dive Resort highly enough! My husband and I stayed for a week for our wedding anniversary and everything was so great. The office and dive staff were helpful and communicative before the trip, answering all my questions each time I called. They were warm and welcoming upon arrival, and check-in and check-out were smooth and easy. The crew on the Amoray Diver were also exceptional. Kevin, Aaron, Kalen, Nick, January, Christina, Tom, and all the rest of the crew were attentive, funny, helpful, and knowledgeable! It was truly a joy to cruise and dive with them. The accommodations themselves are somewhat barebones, but as we were spending most of the time in the water, we didn't need much! (The AC worked which was the most importantly thing for us!) The pool is small but lovely. The lounges and tables at the end of the dock are perfect for watching beautiful sunsets. The free laundry (with pods and dryer sheets provided) means it's easy to pack light. It's good to note there is no restaurant on the property, though there is a food truck that is open sometimes. We picked up groceries and ate breakfasts in the room which was easy enough. Having the resort be geared towards divers was so lovely! With the gear wash and gear locker right there, as well as the boat right there, there was no need for lugging everything around which was great after a full day. I know we just so happened to get *perfect* weather and conditions but everything really did seem extraordinary. The dive sites weren't too crowded, the water was warm and clear, and we saw tons of wildlife including dolphins (off the boat), sea turtles, sharks, crabs, lobsters, eels, rays, jellies, and of course tons of fish and coral! It will be hard to beat such an incredible trip, but I'm sure Jordan and I will be back to try! THANKS, AMORAY!!

We had an INCREDIBLE experience with Amoray dive! We went out for a dive and was able to have such a fun and wonderful experience. The whole crew was so helpful and nice! Everyone was so thoughtful from Aaron, Bre, Gabe, Tom and everyone else on board. The resort was small, quant, and beautiful. Is such a hidden gem in key largo and cannot recommend this place enough especially for everyone in south Florida wanting a great experience that's not too far of a travel.

Diving excellence! Captain Kevin's knowledge of the environment is an enabler. Captain Kalen preps you for an aquatic paradise.

This was a really nice, cozy little boutique villa. They had easy access to the water along with kayaks and paddle boards available. I would return for another visit.

Great facility and staff! If you're looking for a dive resort, look no further! They have tours for divers and snorkeling enthusiasts and their dive staff is great! We had Captain Kevin and First mate Gabe on our dive boat and they did a phenomenal job. Art was kind to prep us on our first dive boat experience and Max was alright... I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dive resort that does it all. I can't wait to go back for another trip!

I had a blast. Great tour. The crew was amazing and the views were even better. I will definitely do it again. Big Thank you, to the crew. Jeanette

With a "Key West" White House's Style, the Amoray Resort is a hidden gem of the Florida Keys. Beautiful clean rooms and friendly, helpful professional staff with great knowledge of all the great dive sites. It has a great view of the sunset as well as convenient storage for all your overnight scuba gear. Conveniently located close to all the go-to dining establishments in Key Largo. A must go to place when I go on my diving expeditions to the Keys!

Captain Kevin and first mate Kaylee were absolutely amazing! We went out snorkeling with a predominantly diving crew today and we had a blast! Captain Kevin and kaylee were so educated and fun! We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip! Would highly recommend Amoray to anyone!

We do want to say that couple of the staff really stood out for excellent customer service - Jo as a dive guide was amazing, as was Savannah on the retail side - but the overall attitude is very much like you are just a number to fill seats. I question the safety standards. We went out in pretty questionable conditions (there was still thunder and lightening when we left the dock), and we witnessed people diving that really had no idea what they were doing, were bouncing around, kicking coral, not at all in control of themselves in the water - and none of this was directly addressed. The customer service in the dive center was pretty terrible - after we purchased over $1000 in equipment at their retail store, we were told we would get a free dive. Cool. So we booked a dive for 3 days later, and when we showed up, we were told that because we booked online instead of calling them, we could not use that free dive. We tried a few times to get this resolved and were just told "well that is our policy." There are so many options for diving in this area, I do not recommend this shop - they do not seem honest or like they really care about the dive experience, just filling seats.

This year, it was a sunset cruise, which far surpasses a dinner at yet another restaurant. Jill met me at Buzzard's Roost, which was great. I am local, but for folks who aren't, this is a great extra! I got to meet Suzy, their rescue, who was very sweet. Captain Glenn took us from ocean side to bay side to Nest Key for sunset. Close to Nest Key, we encountered at least 25 dolphin feeding. We sat and watched and them when we started to move away, the dolphin wanted to play in the boat's wake. Could not have imagined such a special experience to celebrate a birthday!!! My friends brought refreshments and Lucky Fish supplied reusable cups and also had a tank of water. A plus is their actual head (toilet) aboard. Their cat is a perfect size for 6 passengers. It is well appointed, spotless and very stable. Highest praise for Jill, Glenn and Suzy!

We decided not to let the pandemic spoil our 4th of July celebration and spent the holiday in Key Largo. After seeing the larger dive operations with their packed boats of 30+ people all weekend and the COVID-19 outbreak reaching an all-time high in Florida, we made the smarter decision to do a private dive with Lucky Fish Scuba. Captain Glenn and Jill took my dad, my sister and me to the perfect location for our first ocean dive. We had the best time! We were so happy to have the extra attention and instruction as new divers. It was such a stress-free experience. We were able to book the dive last minute, and all of the necessary equipment was on the boat ready for us when we arrived. The boat was beautiful and clean. The equipment was very new and in top condition. Glenn gave us tips to improve our scuba skills. Jill provided snacks and unlimited reef-friendly sunscreen. We even got a video of the dive to share will the rest of our family! I highly recommend using Lucky Fish Scuba if you plan to dive in Key Largo!

It is located near Dry Rocks, about six miles east-northeast of the Key Largo Cut, in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. I was very fortunate to finally visit the Christ of the Abyss after wanting to go for many years! We went on my fiancé's boat. We looked for the coordinates on the web and simply followed them. When you arrive you will see a good number of ball boat bouees set up with a rope which allows you to tie up. They then have a floater which says "Statue" which marks the spot. It's a really cool spot if you are an amateur snorkeler. The water is 25 deep so if you are a beginner and feel comfortable being in that depth you should be good. There are tons of colorful fish around which makes the snorkeling adventure very special. It is my understanding you can go on a tour from John Penne camp for $35-50. If it includes snorkeling gear I say it's totally worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are in the Key Largo Area. While the property itself is absolutely stunning the nine months leading up to the wedding were incredibly frustrating. Communication was consistently poor--weeks would go by without any response. We were promised a Florida Resident Discount by two different general managers, but it was never honored. (This is a significant discount that we did not get as promised). In total, we went through four general managers, each making new promises that never materialized. Even weeks before the wedding, when we were trying to make final payment, we couldn't get a response. When I finally raised concerns with the newest manager, her response was, "I have like six brides all contacting me at once." With all due respect, that's not how you handle a time-sensitive, stressful situation for a bride and her family. To add to the confusion, their website still showed units available just days before our event--even though we had rented out the entire resort. The units themselves are not equipped as expected either--we had to go out and purchase basic items like dish towels, a dish scrubber, pot holders, and more. Their new lanai roof leaks and ruined a couple of the custom built items we thought were safely stored since it's a brand new structure. We unpacked the U-Haul when we got home and had cockroaches in a few of the things stored in the main house.
