Very friendly and professional team. From the moment we stepped into the store to sign in for the day, to getting fitted for bcd's, weights and tanks, to our Captain, everyone was very pleasant! The boat is small, six divers, so no cattle call boats - which is great. Rental equipment is in great shape. They also have neutral buoyancy tanks, which was awesome. It was our first time diving with these types of tanks and you don't have to worry about your buoyancy as you use your air. There were six of us on the boat for the day. We had about a 20 minute ride out to Molasses Reef. The water was nice and we had good visibility. We saw a variety of fish and turtles and it it made for a good day of diving. The only thing I would have done differently would be to ask for a guide. The two dives we had this day we we on our own,so we came up a couple times just to make sure we were in close enough proximity to the boat as there is no guide/dive master provided unless you arrange one ahead of time.

Amazing and knowledgable. Great dive outfit. Our captain went out of his way to teach us about each site.

We do want to say that couple of the staff really stood out for excellent customer service - Jo as a dive guide was amazing, as was Savannah on the retail side - but the overall attitude is very much like you are just a number to fill seats. I question the safety standards. We went out in pretty questionable conditions (there was still thunder and lightening when we left the dock), and we witnessed people diving that really had no idea what they were doing, were bouncing around, kicking coral, not at all in control of themselves in the water - and none of this was directly addressed. The customer service in the dive center was pretty terrible - after we purchased over $1000 in equipment at their retail store, we were told we would get a free dive. Cool. So we booked a dive for 3 days later, and when we showed up, we were told that because we booked online instead of calling them, we could not use that free dive. We tried a few times to get this resolved and were just told "well that is our policy." There are so many options for diving in this area, I do not recommend this shop - they do not seem honest or like they really care about the dive experience, just filling seats.

This year, it was a sunset cruise, which far surpasses a dinner at yet another restaurant. Jill met me at Buzzard's Roost, which was great. I am local, but for folks who aren't, this is a great extra! I got to meet Suzy, their rescue, who was very sweet. Captain Glenn took us from ocean side to bay side to Nest Key for sunset. Close to Nest Key, we encountered at least 25 dolphin feeding. We sat and watched and them when we started to move away, the dolphin wanted to play in the boat's wake. Could not have imagined such a special experience to celebrate a birthday!!! My friends brought refreshments and Lucky Fish supplied reusable cups and also had a tank of water. A plus is their actual head (toilet) aboard. Their cat is a perfect size for 6 passengers. It is well appointed, spotless and very stable. Highest praise for Jill, Glenn and Suzy!

We decided not to let the pandemic spoil our 4th of July celebration and spent the holiday in Key Largo. After seeing the larger dive operations with their packed boats of 30+ people all weekend and the COVID-19 outbreak reaching an all-time high in Florida, we made the smarter decision to do a private dive with Lucky Fish Scuba. Captain Glenn and Jill took my dad, my sister and me to the perfect location for our first ocean dive. We had the best time! We were so happy to have the extra attention and instruction as new divers. It was such a stress-free experience. We were able to book the dive last minute, and all of the necessary equipment was on the boat ready for us when we arrived. The boat was beautiful and clean. The equipment was very new and in top condition. Glenn gave us tips to improve our scuba skills. Jill provided snacks and unlimited reef-friendly sunscreen. We even got a video of the dive to share will the rest of our family! I highly recommend using Lucky Fish Scuba if you plan to dive in Key Largo!

It was placed in the water on 22 August 1954 at approximately 17 metres depth, and stands 2.5 metres (8.5 feet) tall. "Il Cristo degli Abissi" was created by Guido Galletti after an idea of Italian swimmer / diver Duilio Marcante. The statue was placed near the spot where Dario Gonzatti died in 1947. It is located near Dry Rocks, about six miles east-northeast of the Key Largo Cut, in the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. I was very fortunate to finally visit the Christ of the Abyss after wanting to go for many years! We went on my fiancé's boat. We looked for the coordinates on the web and simply followed them. When you arrive you will see a good number of ball boat bouees set up with a rope which allows you to tie up. They then have a floater which says "Statue" which marks the spot. It's a really cool spot if you are an amateur snorkeler. The water is 25 deep so if you are a beginner and feel comfortable being in that depth you should be good. There are tons of colorful fish around which makes the snorkeling adventure very special. It is my understanding you can go on a tour from John Penne camp for $35-50. If it includes snorkeling gear I say it's totally worth it. Definitely a place worth checking out if you are in the Key Largo Area.
