Stayed in the Conch Villa as part of a pretty large wedding event. The first impression when…read moredriving into the place was, "What could possibly be back here that is going to work for a wedding?" However, the answer to that was surprisingly great. The villas have separate rooms with common areas and the one I was in had three bedrooms. The bedroom situation was similar to a hotel room. A nice comfortable bed, a private bathroom, generous closet space, and - most importantly - a good stable temperature even with the thermostat being out in the hall. A ceiling fan helps with circulation, which is great too. The only real downside I can think of is that two of the bedrooms are on the second floor, and you need to take this into account with your luggage as there are no elevators. Well, that and the fact that the finish of the stairs blend into the floor at the bottom so if you are older this might make for a physical perception problem as well. Anyway... Parking is a little tight when the place is full, but the location worked out really well for the wedding ceremony. Out on the point you can see the sunset across the water in the evening. Manatees frequent the dock which are a sight to behold. Across the dock there was a nice flat area on hard sand that was perfect for the reception. Yes, there are water activities including dolphin interactions across the boarder from what are the villas, but I can't make any comment on that part since I didn't manage to even visit over there.

5 stars -- A Hidden Gem in the Keys!…read more If you're looking for a peaceful, affordable, and well-maintained getaway in the Upper Keys, Manatee Bay Marina, LLC is the place. The property is clean, recently renovated, and has everything you need -- spacious rooms, a pool, outdoor grills, and unforgettable water views. The owner clearly takes pride in the property as a whole and is very accommodating. He can recommend a fishing charter, nearby restaurants or stay on property and order or grill. It's all there for you! I even had to do some work and brought my computer and monitors and there was plenty of space and fast internet and then I popped right back outside for a sunrise and sunset, our puppy was loving the outdoors. The dock space was great. Rooms were so much nicer and cleaner and bigger than a "room" anywhereeeee near the price range. Location not to be beat. It's close to the hustle and bustle of the places closer into the keys heading south but it's also a quick trip to Miami. There's always uber too. A good mix between being lazy and relaxing and getting around on the boat day and night and if you want to go out for a meal or drinks or both it is there. Amazing ! Pics to come ! We spent our days kayaking, boating, and enjoying the peaceful vibe. It's a great fit for couples, families, or a small group of friends. The neighborhood is welcoming and quiet but never stuffy. The owner is incredibly responsive and keeps the property in top shape. Plus, they have more than one unit, which is perfect if you're traveling with others. Definitely recommend this place -- it's one of those rare finds that delivers so much more than you expect.

Bring ear plugs, outside area was covered with leaves and debris of the 7 day stay no one ever showed up to clean so we could use outdoor fun. The good things house is good size for three couples, is it's a beautiful property with two pools, a great gym It's my fault that I left some money and items in the night stand drawer would have been nice for cleaners to report they found all the items and money. Lots of communication on what to expect and easy check in/out process. Would definitely rent from them again. Wanted to toss this review out here because I I noticed the reviews were not great, but appeared to pretty old so maybe they have new ownership or something. Recommend using them for your rental, cheaper than VRBO/Air BNB with their hidden fees that are added to the daily room rates.

Wow!! What a great little vacation before summer ends. My daughter actually found this place…read morethrough air b and b. It was perfect. Clean, not very expensive and close to everything we needed. The amenities were amazing. Please see my pictures. We had friends staying there at the same time. They have a huge boat. Needless to say we had a great time hanging out with them, and also enjoyed some family time traveling around the keys. Already planning our trip next year.
