Stayed in the Conch Villa as part of a pretty large wedding event. The first impression when driving into the place was, "What could possibly be back here that is going to work for a wedding?" However, the answer to that was surprisingly great. The villas have separate rooms with common areas and the one I was in had three bedrooms. The bedroom situation was similar to a hotel room. A nice comfortable bed, a private bathroom, generous closet space, and - most importantly - a good stable temperature even with the thermostat being out in the hall. A ceiling fan helps with circulation, which is great too. The only real downside I can think of is that two of the bedrooms are on the second floor, and you need to take this into account with your luggage as there are no elevators. Well, that and the fact that the finish of the stairs blend into the floor at the bottom so if you are older this might make for a physical perception problem as well. Anyway... Parking is a little tight when the place is full, but the location worked out really well for the wedding ceremony. Out on the point you can see the sunset across the water in the evening. Manatees frequent the dock which are a sight to behold. Across the dock there was a nice flat area on hard sand that was perfect for the reception. Yes, there are water activities including dolphin interactions across the boarder from what are the villas, but I can't make any comment on that part since I didn't manage to even visit over there. read more

My family and I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel. We were treated in a way that felt discriminatory and unwelcoming, leaving us feeling hurt and disrespected. The property manager was especially rude and unhelpful, refusing to address our concerns. What was meant to be a special celebration for my husband's birthday was completely ruined. We were so uncomfortable that we canceled our reservation and chose to stay elsewhere. I strongly advise others not to stay here until serious changes are made. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness. Yes, my stay was with four guest, however this is the only property I have rented anywhere that say additional guest are not allowed! Furthermore, arriving early to the villas is also not allowed. Which is also unbelievable. Megan, you can continue to reply to all of my negative post saying that I wasn't treated poorly and that you we're never rude. But I have several witnesses that say otherwise. At the end, I left your property due to all red tape And the ridiculous rule. I went to Tavernier and rented the cutest individual cottage that allowed me not only check in early, but gave me ACCESS to all the amenities you said I couldn't use until 4 pm check in time!!! We had such a nice stay here! We enjoyed taking the kayaks out and got to see a manatee and dolphins. You can't swim on their beach though because of all the Cassiopeia jelly fish. read more

Place is very clean and quiet (@least here in Dec.) and it's right off US1, so easy access - a little over 2hrs to Key West From here but a beautiful drive none the less. I really enjoyed my stay here- good experience. read more

We had such a incredible experience at Dolphin Point Villas. I arrived with my 2 and 3 year old for a weekend vacation. Such a gorgeous location, beautiful homes and impeccably clean. Once I arrived with the boys and walked in the house we noticed that the hotel had left them 2 Dolphin stuffed animals, a hand written card welcoming them and a coloring book with crayons. Having small kids these are the little things that make such a big difference. They placed us right in front of the pool which was made things so easy for me alone with the boys. We were able to get in the pool, walk around the grounds and enjoy the Dolphin show. A Dolphin trainer even took some time out of her busy schedule to give the boys a little educational lesson. Thank you so much for such a great experience! Everything was exceptional and we will be back again! read more

What a great place. I spent my bachelorette party here (we drank here and then went out, slept, and went paddle boarding on the property the next morning). We stayed in the Conch Suite and it was everything we could've asked for. You walk into a living room/kitchen and it has everything you need including a collapsible bed, dishes, chairs, cabinets, etc. It's an ideal place to stay long term. The bathroom was extremely nice. Not only clean, but well decorated! I would have loved my own bathroom to look like theirs. The bedroom had two extremely comfortable beds and was very spacious. There's also a balcony that wraps around the whole villa. The best part about this place is the incredible view. It's oceanfront with a lounge chairs and even paddle boards and kayaks! If you paddle to the left for a few feet, you'll even see some dolphins at the research center next door. Would absolutely stay again. read more

If you are seeking upscale accommodations in Key Largo this is a great place. Modern very clean and comfortable suites. Similar to a very upscale condo suite rental. Book early and ask for a water view if available. There is a dolphin show and a small beach and pool on the property. When you check in follow the map to your suite you will need a code to get into the gated area. Pricey but one of the better places to stay in the Keys. read more

It may look like any other resort while passing this establishment on the main road of Key Largo but it really is a hidden gem. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were large and clean, the pool was almost always empty, the beach was beautiful, and the surroundings are great. We checked in and stayed for three days and didn't want to leave! I really recommend this place! read more

My 2 friends and I had quite the scary stay here a month or so ago. Twyman Cash is a maintenance man there and essentially just watched our every move while we were there and while we were all out on the water on the free paddle boards he robbed me and my friends of any personal identification and our cell phones and my rental and regular car keys. We were terrified. After the police were involved and the property manager visited us the following day I realized no one cared nor believed us and no compensation would be given for our stolen items. Right as we are about to leave my rental car keys suddenly appeared outside of my villa and my passport was supposedly found in the room and sent back. So all I can say is it is a beautiful place but watch your belongings very VERY closely and don't give any of the workers any more info that u absolutely need to because it's something weird going on there and we were very disappointed such an amazing vacation ended that way with no compensation or even understanding. Overall I don't recommend even having ur children around these people. Hope it helps someone else not have the same situation. read more

We stayed at here over an extended weekend in Jan 2019. Surprisingly, we were the only guests in all of the properties for most of our 5 nights. We found the accommodations excellent in every respect. They are large, spacious suites with modern, clean updated furnishings. The pool is great for the kids (we brought 2), very convenient to the suites. The access to the beach with free kayaks and paddle boards is great, really easy to access and use. Everything was fantastic, excellent place! My only recommendation to the staff would be to add lighting to the deck stairs for late night arrivals, and to provide a few essentials like bottle openers and some utensils in the suites. read more

Home away from home. These beautifully decorated (villas and suites) with high end kitchen appliances (in the villas not suites) were clean and super nice. All the staff were super nice and accommodating. Sharon went out of her way with hospitality. The gas barbecue, kayaks and paddle boats was an additional perk. We enjoyed using their gas grills. If you stay in a suite it's better if you eat out. There isn't a separate sink. The villas have a full kitchen. The facility is privately owned and not a corporation. You treat it like a home rental and not a hotel. They do not do daily housekeeping but anytime you need fresh towels,toiletry, and toilet paper you can call them. They are affiliated to the next door Dolphin plus (where you can observe or interact with the dolphins). We definitely found our new keys retreat. Everywhere in the keys, I have often wondered why some expensive hotels were old, unkept and worn down. At Dolphin Pointe Villas your money is well spent. Definitely worth staying here and you won't be disappointed. It's a great place for a couple or family vacation. read more

We stayed for 5 nights last week. The rooms are very nice with the exception of no sink in the "kitchen" area of suite and only two chairs in a 4 person suite. Same for rocking chairs outside. The person at registration put everything on our debit card instead of the credit card that we provided at check-in, emptying our bank account. 7 days since we discovered it and the $$ still not back in our account. I understand that person that checked us in is no longer there. Never once did anybody come by and offer us clean sheets or towels. We ran out of toilet paper because although the office is supposed to be open until 5 on Sunday, no one was there all day. When we went to move our boat trailer down to pick up our boat, the gate would not open. Since no one was at the office to help, we went to the Dolphin Show gift shop for help. They are not part of the Dolphin Villa but offered to make some calls. For about 40 minutes, no one could get out of the gate. this place is very expensive and should be managed much better for the price. There also is no bar or restaurant. read more

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our villa was not on the water as I originally thought by the website photos but it is was a short walk. Villas are new and equipped with higher end appliances and furniture. Nice open layout for the villa we stayed in. As the resort is new there are some additions needed such as more lounge chairs at the pool and beach and recommend to not have villas share grills (to avoid guest confrontations). Staff asked for feedback and thoughts for improvement as they are a new complex which was valued. Location was excellent as many restaurants were within walking distance, a Publix was .4 miles away and the Coral Reef Park was right down the road in addition to DolphinPlus being next door. read more

We spent New Years here two years ago and had an unforgettable experience! The staff was very accommodating and set us up with a personal bbq grill as well as paddle boards and kayaks. As others mentioned this property is pretty new (I think it opened December 2017) but it is right off the Highway and the accomodations are top notch. Big, spacious villas with full kitchens and the large wrap around decks are a great touch and perfect for sipping gin and tonics. We didn't partake but they have kayaks and paddleboards that are free to use which is refreshing from the normal "charge you for everything" places. Also, agree that staff is very engaging and while someone mentioned Sharon............Jeanine was our rock star. You can walk a couple of hundred feet to the water's edge, plenty of great restaurants nearby if you don't want to cook. The only downfall I would say is they are pretty pricey in season but if you subscribe to the "you get what you pay for" theory............it's worth paying the money. As the word gets out I think this place is going to do very, very well and having the Dolphin Swim Experience right next door sure as heck won't hurt either. read more
