It was good and fresh. Southern cooking at 6am! An extensive menu full of goodness. I definitely will be coming back at least once a week!

Small , busy a bit loud, but the food was prepared well and definitely what defines a local country/comfort food type of place.

Our waitress was lovely, I had heard about the souvenir glasses you could buy so I got a shot glass with the Damon pancake shot and the vampire Barbie drink. They had a few options for the big souvenir glass - I chose the "it's okay to love them both, I did" Katherine glass. For the meal we tried the fried chicken sandwich and the sweet tea fried chicken. Everything was so good, my favorite meal in Covington! I wish we had room for dessert because everything sounded good. We checked out upstairs and saw the hallway with all the signed menus- so cool!! Also be sure to keep your receipt to get 10% off of purchases down stairs at the alley gift shop.

We sat on the roof which was nice and quiet. The service was quick and the waitress was super nice. The first time the food came out it was cold, but she was super quick to get it warm for us. We got the blackened shrimp Alfredo and it was pretty flavorful, I would totally get again! The fries were also delicious. We did get two drinks and they were just alright. Would not recommend their cocktails. Overall Mystic Grill holds a special place in our hearts and we love visiting during the holidays!

The place is really big with…read moreplenty of seating, and all of the staff from the hostess to the waitress were all really sweet and helpful. I started with the goat cheese pesto bruschetta for appetizers. The flavors paired well together and it was a decent size. For lunch, my friend and I shared the taco platter, which comes with 9 tacos, chips, salsa, and queso for $35. It's a great price and it was more food than we could finish. The fried shrimp tacos were the best. Shoutout to our waitress for that suggestion! They were crispy, large shrimp pieces, and flavored nicely. We also got the fried fish tacos and the ribeye tacos which were very underwhelming. Unfortunately, the entire taco platter was extremely salty. Even though we drank water throughout, we both left feeling super parched due to how salty it was. This place has potential but I'm not sure I would come back. It might be a good spot to grab a drink and hang out, but I wouldn't come here to eat. Honestly the amazing service is really what stood out and was the saving grace!

It's versatile and appropriate for a date night or a business dinner. I went on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't too packed. I initially sat at the bar where I had the gin pear cocktail. Then I sat at the restaurant area where I ordered the catfish with broccolini and sweet potato pure, two of the guests ordered the salmon and loved it and one of the guests ordered the daily special which was the meatloaf and it looked delicious (a bit on the heavier side side) for after dinner drink I had an espresso martini and it did not disappoint. We still had some room for dessert so tried the chocolate molten lava cakes, mine not so lava like but still tasty!

The windows are tinted and the open sign wasn't on, but as I got closer, I could see people inside, so I went for it. You order at the counter, and they call your name when it's ready. They also have some merch for sale, which adds to the vibe. I ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and the egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Both hit the spot. Simple, fresh, and exactly what I wanted. The place itself is really cute, and the bathrooms are unisex and very clean (which I always notice). Staff was friendly and everything felt easy. It's also only about a 3-5-minute walk to the main square, but just far enough away that it feels a little calmer and not packed with tourists like some of the other coffee spots. Definitely a great place to stop if you want something a little more low-key.
