Recently, I discovered the second floor of this cafe and it's a hidden gem! It's typically less crowded and doesn't contain the smells of the first level, and has a big tables. The service is friendly and coffee drinks are served pretty quick. We ordered quiches one fall morning and though they could have been hotter in temperature, the flavors were good. We tried the seasonal caramel corn lattes and they were pretty sweet but good if you like things sweet! I've ordered sandwiches (good) and their signature cookies many times and you can't go wrong. A staple cafe for the area.

We got the Lavender Hot Chocolate and Salted Caramel Tahini Latte - the lavender hot chocolate was as usual phenomenal but the salted caramel tahini barely tasted like anything but a plain latte. In my opinion, the ambiance of this location is the least photogenic of all maman locations. Service was good though and bathroom was super clean and spacious.

Excellent service! The food came out quick and was delicious. I'm a big fan of this location, good vibes and I always feel taken care of. I recommend the pistachio croissant and Martha's spritz.

Can't go to Greenpoint without stopping by Maman! While you can't go wrong with their staple pastries I'm always excited to check out their seasonal drinks and quiches. This blueberry latte did not disappoint, the sweetness of the blueberry was perfectly balanced with subtle hints of tarte that were very complementary to the earthy coffee notes. I also had the citrus olive oil loaf which was also delicious. I've been to this location for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon pick me ups and it never disappoints.

Interior is lovely; I can see myself spending lots of time in here. The workers were warm and friendly. Everything looks amazing. The pastries blew my mind. I'd love to come back and try their other pastries!

I was in the area and decided to grab a quick snack with friends. The place is on the smaller side with a few picnic style tables inside. The service is friendly and they have answers to any questions you may have about the menu. The amount of pastries are overwhelming. They all look so great. The sandwiches construction was a bit problematic. Everything was falling out with every bite but the saving grace was the taste. I enjoyed my fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and my friends enjoyed their coffees. Next time I will opt for a nice pastry or even the overnight oats looked great. I would go back and just order different items.

This location is an oasis in Greenpoint. Plenty of vegan treats and a calm ambiance of warmth and kindness. I felt bad opening my laptop in such a beautiful place, but I was welcomed by the staff to stay a while. My favorite cookie is the chocolate sandwich, a gourmet oreo with enough flaked salt to remind you of its sophistication. Thank you so much!!!

The place has the best overnight oats I've ever had. Whoever had the idea to put cinnamon apple slices in the oats needs a free lifetime membership to la fitness. This shit is good. Not to mention the vibe is "artisanal" (My millennial word) and low key. Service wise the barista was chill. I would definitely come back

Very friendly staff & cute decor inside. I tried the cheddar scallion scone & it was so yummy - had a teeny bit of spicy flavor to it. The matcha is also really good - I like when mine isn't too sweet cause it takes away from the matcha flavor.

The interior of this place was a very cute cafe/bakery. Review for seasonal drinks only: Drinks were approximately $7/one - Cherry limeade matcha soda: drink seemed like watered down matcha with a hint of real cherry puree flavor with bubbles. I thought this drink was soso. - Pink Guava Mint lemonade: this drink was way too Tart and not worth $7. It was like 80% lemon juice (didn't taste like lemonade at this point more like straight up lemon juice) and 20% guava. The mint was just an accent piece on the top. Way too acidic. Steer clear of this drink. I typically love anything guava but this drink is definitely a no no. I also didn't like that they gave us paper straws or only had paper straws as the straw got soggy and bent really quick. On a sidenote, the pastries behind the counter looked amazing. There is also a bathroom in the back in case you need it.

We love the ambiance of Maman, lovely, cozy and replaxing. Their options of pastry were in a great variety and our favorites were their Almond Croissant and Quiche Daisy, especially the texture of Quiche, which was creamy and soft inside with crispy crust. The staff was friendly but just a little slow and unfamiliar with all the process when there was a long line. We were there at about 9am with no line and the service looked smooth. It got crowded at about 10am and we can tell all the orders were unorganized & also heard some complaints from the people in line.

TL;DR version- Some high highs and some very low lows. Hot Figs was a fun app. By a mile, the soups…read morewere the favorites, so I would recommend the Pepián or Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo. Nice happy hour and a large chocolate drink selection I was at this unique Guatemalan (ish) restaurant a while back with one of my groups. I said "ish" because the menu has dishes from all over, ranging from sandwiches to BBQ ribs to Guatemalan and Mexican soups. It's out there, and even though not everything works that well, it's fun, and if you can't find something you want to order here, you probably shouldn't go out to restaurants. There was also live jazz music that night, which was loud but nice to listen to. Since it was happy hour, a bunch of us got drinks. I went with a maracuya margarita, which was decent; someone else had a jalapeño margarita, someone had a beer, and someone had a mojito. There were a few nice hot sauces on the table, with the red one reminding me of salsa macha as it had a smoky kick and a spicier green sauce reminiscent of ají verde. They gave us some complimentary blue corn chips and a very mild black bean dip, which was tasty enough and hard to complain about, as it was free. From the appetizers, we got the Hot Figs for $15.95, consisting of honey goat cheese, corn tortilla chips, and plum + pumpkin seeds. This was a unique and fun blend and reminded me more of something you would find in a wine bar. The mix of sweet and salty, with a bit of crunch from the seeds, was nice. This was good, and I would recommend it for a table rather than for a solo diner. There was also The Zingy Salad for $21.95, featuring zucchini spirals, yuzu, tomato, onion, cilantro, pumpkin seeds, and a jalapeño infusion. $18.95. The salad was fine with a bit of crunch and a mild spiciness. It was fine, though a bit wet, for lack of a better word. The best dishes of the night were the soups, which each had its own distinct flavor profile. My sight presence went to the Pepián for $21.95, consisting of chicken, pumpkin/sesame seeds, green tomatillo, cinnamon, cumin, black pepper, carrots, chili coban/pasta/guaque, and potato + rice. There was plenty of tender chicken inside, with the soup having a nice roasted flavor with some spice and a bit of sourness. The potatoes and rice on the bottom added more sustenance to this dish. Almost equally delicious was the Caldo Tlalpeño Rojo for a dollar more with shredded chicken, tomato, black pepper, garlic, onions, peas, chickpeas, corn, achiote, chipotle, Monterey jack cheese, and crunchy blue corn tortilla chips. By comparison, this was a bit heartier, with the melted cheese and shredded tortilla chips inside, similar to soups found in Mexican cuisine. While I also liked the mix of veggies a bit more in this one, as it added a bit more texture, I still slightly preferred the flavor of the other soup, as I usually prefer a bit more spice. The rest of the food was fine. The TPC sandwich for $19.95 with chicken, peanut butter, coconut cream, ginger, cilantro, pickled carrots, and lime was fine. For the number of ingredients, I found it a bit sweet, likely from the cream and the peanut butter mix. The bread was nice, but it also fell apart. It came with a nice side salad with a good vinaigrette. The most expensive at $24.95 were the Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs, consisting of baby back ribs with rice and beans. The ribs were almost a bit too tender as they lacked any bite, which was nice, but the sauce was a bit too generic tasting, reminding me of Sweet Baby Ray's or something similar. The rice and beans were standard. This was also OK. Next came some dessert. There was first the $12.95 Rosemary Churros served with dulce de leche & chocolate dips. While I'm not sure if it worked, the rosemary did add a unique smell and a bit of flavor, and at least it wasn't generic. The churros themselves were hot, and the sauces were standard, with my preference being the dulce de leche. I also ordered a Champurrado for $7.95, which was fine. It wasn't as thick as I expected, though perhaps the style is a bit different than the champurrados I rarely buy from Mexican street carts. The chocolate flavor was very nice, though, and I like that it wasn't too sweet. Another person got a $4 Alfajor, which I got a bite of, which was standard. This place is a bit hard to rate. The two soups were wonderful, I liked the appetizers, and I found a couple of the other dishes just OK. Overall, it was a good meal, but I'm not craving to go back. This would be the perfect 3.5, but I'll round up as that doesn't exist.

It was good overall but it could have used a little more salt. I also tried the matcha latte (which tasted a bit too milky) and I had to add extra sweetener, so I'd probably try a different drink next time. The pastries, especially the apple strudel and Boston cream donut, were both really good. Highly recommend the apple strudel.
