Awesome Smores Frozen Coffee and Other Treats! Well, upon seeing the glowing Yelp reviews for this place I decided to check this place out. I had just eaten way to much for lunch and probably wasn't super ready for any treats, but I like to push the stomach as far as it can go. I was warmly greeted by everyone there pretty much, I was informed I was lucky and it was $2 Tuesday where you can get Coffee drinks and a bunch of other stuff for only $2 which was a winner for me! I got the Smores Frozen Coffee drink and it was rather wonderful! It was super tasty and made me want to drive back for another when it was gone in the car! I got Donna the Mocha Caramel Coffee and the cheesecake mallow on A stick and she loved it all! Definitely will be back to this place again, especially on Tuesdays! What are you waiting for? When you walk in, you are hit with the smell of toasted marshmallows (duh) which immediately sparked the nostalgia of summer campfires and 4th of July s'mores while growing up. The employees seemed to really enjoy their jobs. They were friendly, upbeat, and helpful. My husband ordered a chocolate chip cookie sandwich with marshmallow whip and chocolate ganache in the middle. I got the "Bam Bam" fruity pebbles shake. I honestly do not enjoy rich, sickeningly sweet desserts, but I thought the shake was a little bland. From the looks of it, I expected it to be a sugar overload, but there wasn't a ton of flavor and it was very icy - more like a slushee than a milkshake. So that was a little disappointing. But, I still loved the fruity pebbles and the "end of the bowl milk" flavor! My husband loved his cookie sandwich and said it was SO rich, which he enjoys! I think this would be a great place to bring friends or visitors from out of town, because the novelty and crazy combinations are very fun! read more

I saw this place on Unique Eats and with my recent visit back to Phoenix I was excited to stop in. I called my order ahead of time. By the time I got there I had an order to add. When I got in I saw they offered a lot more than what was on the website so I was a little taken aback. An associate kept asking what I wanted so I felt pressured to make a decision and hurry up and order. As I asked for recommendations from the associate, another customer in the store bombarded her way in front of me with her item to pay saying she was all set and the associate that was helping me actually addressed this customer and took her payment. At that moment I became enraged and completely disregarded. As a person of color I immediately went into defense mode as it was clear to me that my dollar didn't matter there. But I didn't mention anything out and just walked away until they were finished serving their more "appreciated" customer. Once they were able to finally help me again I asked for a regular s'more and it seemed like I asked for a lot as the associate asked another associate who was working with someone else to make it like she couldn't be bothered. There was no one else waiting. Anyway the associate finally made the s'more and charged me. Then I noticed that the drink I ordered was not dairy free as I requested on the phone. The associate went and remade it and brought back a basic drink that didn't have anything that they mentioned was in their coffee drink. Chocolate and Graham crackers does not have dairy. Buy they weren't in the drink. But at that point I was over it. I had already spent way too much time and money in there. I would not recommend this place as their customer service is off putting and it seemed clear to me that they appreciate specific people's dollars over others. I was so enraged and disrespected. Ruined my night. *** in response to the owner I had a lot of patience tonight. If you saw what happened "as the owner" why didn't you say anything If you knew I was upset?? Why didn't you clarify what was asked for the drink if she said I wanted "non dairy"? Don't tell me how to feel when I'm the one having the experience. What kind of business owner are you to sit back and let this happen and then blame me for not asking to speak to a manger. You just made my point. Toasted mallow is a really cool concept where they can customize your marshmallow to pretty much anything you want. I was a bit overwhelmed with all the different options of goodies to choose from but I saw that as a good thing. I ended up ordering the cookies n cream shake and it was very delicious. August 30th is National Toasted Marshmallow Day. But when a store like Fluff It Marshmallows is in your neck of the woods, why wait? Every day can be National Toasted Marshmallow Day! This gem of a store has been opened for almost a year and a half now and I finally got to pop in on Friday. The smexy Cheryl B. had gotten ROTD for this place this week and with Chris M. from Hercules, CA visiting, I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to try this place. I'm glad we stopped in! We had the friendliest staff member explain everything in the shop --- from the bagged goods to how the s'mores bar worked. She was thorough and showed enthusiasm for their goods. The three of us ended up ordering s'mores. I had a s'mores bowl with peanut butter marshmallow, chocolate sauce, and topped with almonds. Delish! I also appreciated how you can see them toasting up the marshmallow. What's even better is the generous owner stopped by our table and gave us samples of some of their other marshmallows to try --- how very kind of you! Horchata and a caramel apple marshmallow? After reading all the rave reviews from fellow Yelpers, I was able to finally visit since I was already in Gilbert. I came in around 12 noon and I had the place to myself! The woman gave me an introduction and overview of the store and I was excited to redeem my free marshmallow pop, just for checking in on the app. I asked her about popular flavors among customers and she shared some, which was helpful. Note: the popular marshmallows are more expensive. I ordered the peanut butter cup marshmallow in a graham cracker bowl. I loved seeing the process of firing the marshmallows and adding all the toppings, it looked artful. Plus, you can see into the kitchen and know that everything is made fresh. I had to ask about the ingredients; I read that their marshmallows are kosher and one of the ladies clarified that she uses beef gelatin. She used to use pork but a lot of people were asking her about it and she made the change. Great business choice! SO: Muslims, Jews and those who aren't strict vegetarians can enjoy these treats. I had to take my bowl with me to go but the container held it well, and it was just slightly melted when I arrived at my next destination. The flavors are a yummy mix and it seems kinda awkward to eat using a wooden fork, so I just picked up the whole bowl and took bites out of it. Delicious! A sweet tooth lovers dream if you like marshmellows. If you want a sugar rush, this will def do the job for you. Really really creative and cute little shop. Marshmellows are homemade and they have really cool flavors for just about any S'more your looking for. You can also have your marshmellow toasted however you want.I got the peanut butter cup Smore, while my mom got the German chocolate. The reason for my three stars is my mom asked for her marshmellow to be lightly toasted and they burned it in the middle. The lady didnt bother to fix it and just covered it with chocolate. She also said it didnt taste anything near or similar to what German chocolate was. When we went to sit down, the tables had not been wiped down, each one was super sticky. They were also out of water so we werent able to get a drink which was and desperately needed when eating the Smores. Loved this place! My family and I visited while on vacation. The store was clean and the decor was adorbs. They have so many great treat options. My son loved the jr. cotton candy marshmallows. I got the create your own s'more. It was good. I wish there was an option to add chocolate slab on it before toasting, as I think mine was missing the chocolate part of the s'more. We tried the unicorn marshmallow cookie (good) and a few of the take home goodies. I liked it all. The owner even gave my son some marshmallow eggs on the way out. We will def be back when in town! This is my 2nd time back in 2 years, and I'm here to say I enjoyed my experience more this go-round! I've been seeing them advertise all kinds of seasonal goods on their Instagram, so for date night I convinced my husband to come try them out. We shared a butterscotch white hot chocolate topped with vanilla bean fluff and a Doughlicious Peppermint S'mores bowl (aka a graham cracker bowel, toasted vanilla bean marshmallows, chocolate peppermint cookie dough, fudge, and crushed candy cane). Since we checked in via Yelp we also scored a free salted caramel marshmallow pop. As you can probably now tell, there's no shortage of sugar in these treats! So share if you can to help limit bouncing off the walls after. Now, one of the cool things about this place is 99% of their products are made in-house, and they have a lot of speciality items (like cookie dough stuffed marshmallows). If you're a kid at heart and love all things sweet, need fun holiday gifts, or wanna spoil your kids, this is your place! My ONLY complaint is I wish plastic knives were available to help break-up the Graham cracker bowel, because you kinda need to lift it up and bite it off versus breaking a piece with a spoon/fork. Delicious treats- And a woman owned business showing up for women's right's! The mocha with marshmallow fluff was dairy free and crazy delicious! And the cupcakes were so flavorful. It was wonderfully busy when I visited with my family to sign a petition for women's rights they were kind enough to host and due to the spike in business they were experiencing the marshmallows were low in stock but we didn't care just an excuse to come back. My grandmother called me from Southern California and demanded that I go here to get her some Marshmallows before I came home the next time. She hasn't been able to find an adequate replacement for her William Sonoma favorite, so I have set out on a quest to find the comparable. While they did not have a stand alone caramel marshmallow, she was in love with her options and choices. I got her a raspberry and strawberry cheesecake box to go. I also grabbed an iced caramel mocha for the road back to North Phoenix. The coffee prices are great. OMG, how is this place even real?! This is by far the BEST dessert and treat place I've ever been to! Tried the milkshakes and they were hands down the best milk shakes I've ever tasted in my life! Blue Bell ice cream is some of the best ice cream in the country, so when in Arizona, I take advantage and eat up while I'm in town and bring a whole cooler of the stuff home with me! Seeing that these shakes were made with Blue Bell ice cream, definitely influenced my menu selection. The shakes were smooth, creamy, sweet, and tasted like happiness in a sippy cup! The marshmallow fluff plopped on top was soooooo good, I cannot even explain how wonderful it tasted to eat that fluffy cloud of marshmallow that was coated in Blue Bell ice cream flavor! The toasted marshmallow on top was warm and freshly toasted. I hadn't eaten a freshly toasted marshmallow in years, and this one was so fresh, soft, and had a beautiful coloring on the outside! The cup was so cute too with the marshmallow sticker! The shop itself is pretty fun inside with the marshmallow decor on the wall, tee shirts, and pre-packaged goodies for sale. Not to mention all the yummy treats on display in the case for you to see. I'll definitely be returning to Toasted Mallow when in town and plan on trying multiple different treats, especially more of the shakes! Made an online order and it took more days than they claimed. I opened the package and both jars I received looked mixed like this. I understand it won't look like the picture online but come on. It's all melted and empty. Contacted the business and they basically said it wasn't their problem which is completely unprofessional. I don't know how it is in person but I would not recommend ordering online as they have a no refund policy which is ridiculous. Never ordering from this business again. -update- I don't believe it's right for me too have too pay another 10 dollars for shipping when who's too say I won't get more melted air jars. And posting the email just shows how unprofessional this establishment is. I also Never received an apology or anything.
