When I was relocating from Milwaukee to Boston to move in with my fiancé I did a lot of research on…read moremoving companies and decided to use Kerb Local and Long Distance Movers, they were very helpful in helping me understand the packing and moving process as I had never used a moving company before and provided me with a fair quote. The competitive companies had unreasonable and expensive quotes. On moving day the workers were on time, friendly, professional. We used the full moving package to save us the headache of packing. They packed all of our belongings, organized the boxes accordingly based on the part of the house they were from by labeling them and secured our fragile belongings safely (example covered our new coffee table with blankets and tape around so it wouldn't get scratched). I also used them to transport my car because I did not want to drive and add too many miles. They gave me the best quote from all the other competitors I had called. They provide to door services and I had the car delivered to me, which was so convenient and saved me so much time. Once I arrived to Boston I called dispatch and they were responsive and helpful providing information on when my car and belongings would arrive and organizing a time-frame to deliver. They carefully unloaded all of my boxes and furniture and placed them where we wanted. We are so happy we used Kerb and highly recommend it for anyone looking to use a moving company and save the hassle of packing or driving their car long distance.

But…read moreafter the exemplary service I received with this company, the immediate review felt like a must. Moving is sometimes one of the most difficult, impatient, and tiring things to do. My mother in-law decided to pick up and leave her place and move back to Orange County, closer to us. She asked if we could help in the process, and I said sure! And right away gave myself anxiety, because Her moving decision was sudden and I am someone who needs a detail plan and time! All of the worries was put to ease with this company. I literally had to do little to nothing! I made a call asking for moving services quote, and they responded in a short time. Not only did they gave me a really great competitive price... they offer so much more thank basic moving companies. They were able to take care of the complete packing and unpacking services, which was the first thing on my list to get checked off. The Packing: My mother in-law is a collector of antiques and they completely took into respect of those items, having special packaging for them a low rate. They were so nice about wrapping them in blankets and fabrics. All the staff were friendly and communicated well with us during the process. In addition, they had someone provide us with home estimate, helped with temporary storage and auto shipping. I really did not want to take time off of work to fly there and road trip her car back. Their shipped the car for me for a cheap price, saving us so much money and time. I am truly grateful for the grace of their services. Anyone who needs help moving short or long distances should consider this company!! DO NOT HESITATE! The services and price is impossible to pass!

I was helping a friend find a mover when I came across the Brickhouse Moving Company. And I'm…read moregrateful to have found them! Joe P was beyond pleasant, helpful, and flexible with scheduling (and patient with some necessary rescheduling). Brickhouse provided quality service all the way, from scheduling with Joe to the actual move by him and his team of two equally pleasant young men. I would be remiss if I didn't give one example of how Joe went the extra mile. To assist my friend with coordinating this move, which had a few moving parts involving third and fourth parties, Joe picked up his bed in advance of the move and held it until the day of the move. He noticed there was no box spring with this bed, so before the day of the move, he'd taken a large piece of plywood he had and cut it to fit the bed frame, and created an extra piece for the center of the platform for added strength, making a temporary mattress platform. That was a godsend. Then the cherry on top: After moving all the belongings inside, his team went on to the next job while Joe stayed behind and put the bed together! In my experience, such outstanding customer service is rare these days. Brickhouse gets five stars for that alone. I'd give ten, if I could, for the entire moving process which went so smoothly, thanks to Joe. The initial quote was very reasonable but Joe never charged a cent more than he initially quoted, even though he provided additional services. I can't say he'd be able to do something similar for every other client in every other situation, but I can say this: Joe is a stand-up guy. I have no qualms recommending Brickhouse, and I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.
