When I was relocating from Milwaukee to Boston to move in with my fiancé I did a lot of research on moving companies and decided to use Kerb Local and Long Distance Movers, they were very helpful in helping me understand the packing and moving process as I had never used a moving company before and provided me with a fair quote. The competitive companies had unreasonable and expensive quotes. On moving day the workers were on time, friendly, professional. We used the full moving package to save us the headache of packing. They packed all of our belongings, organized the boxes accordingly based on the part of the house they were from by labeling them and secured our fragile belongings safely (example covered our new coffee table with blankets and tape around so it wouldn't get scratched). I also used them to transport my car because I did not want to drive and add too many miles. They gave me the best quote from all the other competitors I had called. They provide to door services and I had the car delivered to me, which was so convenient and saved me so much time. Once I arrived to Boston I called dispatch and they were responsive and helpful providing information on when my car and belongings would arrive and organizing a time-frame to deliver. They carefully unloaded all of my boxes and furniture and placed them where we wanted. We are so happy we used Kerb and highly recommend it for anyone looking to use a moving company and save the hassle of packing or driving their car long distance. read more

I usually take some time before I get around on the computer to update or write any reviews. But after the exemplary service I received with this company, the immediate review felt like a must. Moving is sometimes one of the most difficult, impatient, and tiring things to do. My mother in-law decided to pick up and leave her place and move back to Orange County, closer to us. She asked if we could help in the process, and I said sure! And right away gave myself anxiety, because Her moving decision was sudden and I am someone who needs a detail plan and time! All of the worries was put to ease with this company. I literally had to do little to nothing! I made a call asking for moving services quote, and they responded in a short time. Not only did they gave me a really great competitive price... they offer so much more thank basic moving companies. They were able to take care of the complete packing and unpacking services, which was the first thing on my list to get checked off. The Packing: My mother in-law is a collector of antiques and they completely took into respect of those items, having special packaging for them a low rate. They were so nice about wrapping them in blankets and fabrics. All the staff were friendly and communicated well with us during the process. In addition, they had someone provide us with home estimate, helped with temporary storage and auto shipping. I really did not want to take time off of work to fly there and road trip her car back. Their shipped the car for me for a cheap price, saving us so much money and time. I am truly grateful for the grace of their services. Anyone who needs help moving short or long distances should consider this company!! DO NOT HESITATE! The services and price is impossible to pass! read more

I reached out for a quote and for two weeks they said they had availability and could do our move, we had the dates set and we were just waiting on the final quote from them. After 2 weeks of no definitive answers but reassuring us they could do our move and would call back with the final quote and details, they finally told us they are now fully booked for the dates we had set and for two weeks before and after. read more

This review is long overdue, but I thought I'd share my experiences because I had recently worked with them again and I can't say enough good things about the movers and the company. My first time was several years ago when I was moving from out of state, and I had no choice but to hire a professional moving company. From initial communication on Yelp to scheduling and confirmation it was a breeze. On the day of move, movers showed up early in the morning and got the house empty before I knew it! Everything arrived to the new condo securely, and all my furniture got to the place safe and they even advised me on how to arrange furniture too! Recently, I had to move to next city, so I reached out to them again. On both occasions I was assigned with very friendly, efficient, and kind movers, and they packed the truck with such speed, and efficiency yet handled all of my items with great care. Seriously, movers were very fast and professional, polite and respectful. I highly recommend hiring them for your next move!!! read more

I'm kind of nomadic and was heading back to California from RI and have always been kind of a one-bag-and run kind of guy. This time was a little different and I needed some quick help to get some rather hefty luggage across this lawless wasteland. I had never used a mover before because I have massive trust issues and I really hate it when people touch my stuff. Kerb changed my mind about that. They were quick, friendly, and kept me in the loop the entire time (I'm annoying and call every 30 minutes). All things considered, the pricing was very reasonable especially considering they had to deal with my crappy attitude and neurotic wife. I would use definitely Kerb again, but I don't expect to make running away from in-laws a regular activity. Thanks y'all! read more

Shipping a car cross country is not a cheap undertaking so you expect quality service and care. Kerb delivered! They did a great job shipping our son's car from Boston to San Francisco. They communicated all of the details via text and email so we were always up to date on where to drop off and when to pick up. Jordan Blake was our sales rep and made sure all of our questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner. Definitely recommend Kerb for shipping and moving. read more

Let me just say, this company is GREAT! I've moved a lot in my lifetime and this place really impressed me. They were efficient, fast, and made me feel like this wasn't just another day another job! The teamwork was amazing, they took apart and reassembled all the beds and my dining room table so fast and with great care. I highly recommend! read more

My cousin recently moved from Massachusetts back to SoCal and used Kerb for her moving services. Although I wasn't there during the packing part in Massachusetts, I was there during the unloading in SoCal. Even after the long drive, the crew was still energized and ready to go. Props to the hard working team! I can see that they carefully wrapped, packaged, and secured everything properly for the move. They were also very careful during the unloading process. Everyone was so diligent and professional. They definitely made my cousin's life (and mine) a lot easier by unloading the boxes into its designated room. Thanks to Kerb by making my job as the helpful cousin a breeze with the dreadful unpacking part. read more

When I accepted my jobs transfer from Boston to Sacramento I was nervous about how I would pack up my whole home and get all my stuff to Sacramento. This company is fantastic! I called Kerb Movers and got an amazing quote and knew they were the right team to do the job. The team arrived early on the morning of my move like we had discussed over the phone. It only took a few hours to get everything packed up and loaded. The team was extremely helpful and it took so much stress off my back. They even used a special crate to transfer my family's valuables so nothing would be damaged. Upon arrival the team helped place everything where i wanted it to go. If I ever needed to move again, my first call would be to them. Great job! read more

I hired Kerb for a long distance move and the quote was the best price by far to their competitors. A friend of mine needed help moving her parents back home to LA from their home of over 18 years. They didnt want any movers helping they insisted on doing it on their own. I did my research and they were very responsive and treated me very kindly and were MORE THAN HELPFUL. We scheduled a day and time no more than 3 days later. They were so quick to get to work. My friend hardly had to lift a finger! We were concerned her parents would be upset with us but they were thrilled with how fast and efficiently the job was done, and how carefully handled their precious belongings were handled with extreme care. These guys even had special equipment for valuables that are difficult to carry. Exceptional job. I definitely recommending having kerb movers handle your move. Whether its local, or long distance, they get the job done. read more

It started off with my sister trying to move back to Los Angeles. We were looking around and a friend of ours referred us to Kerb. Other companies were charging a good amount to move all of her stuff. So when we got in contact with Kerb they gave us a great deal which we could not say no! They showed up at the exact time. The movers were very friendly and polite. They made our lives so much easier with the move. When they were packing up her fragile items, they used a blanket type cover and made sure it was taped up securely. They were very careful when moving all of her valuables. The team that they have made our lives so much easier. So glad to have met these people! I will definitely be recommending them to my friends who need help moving in the MA area! read more

It doesn't get any better than these guys when it comes to hiring movers! We recently used them for our big move from the Boston area to Southern California to our new home, and they did such a wonderful job. First of all, their communication from early on in contacting them was so amazing, they got back to me right away and were there to answer all of my thousands of questions to make me feel prepared. On the day of the move they arrived on time (a few minutes early, even!) and they were ready to go. It only took them a few hours to have everything packed up, wrapped safely, loaded in the truck, and ready to make its journey to our new home. From start to finish, everyone on the team was very professional, courteous, polite, and helpful. All of our items, especially the most fragile pieces, were safely and thoroughly wrapped and stored in special wooden crates they provided and nothing was damaged! The price point for such a long distance was fair, reasonable, and guaranteed. Considering that moving is one of the most stressful things you can do, it is amazing to find a moving company that takes such great pride and makes the whole process stress-free and safe. Without question, I will be using this company again on my next move. read more

Very much pleased with Kerb Local Movers. I'd have to say it made my moving experience smooth, and easy! They arrived early, which was a plus! Everyone that was on the job made sure to listen where I wanted everything set up. The way I wanted things wrapped and double checked with me to make sure everything was thorough. Also the people on the job were very nice, professional, and I really had zero complaints. And for a mom moving can be pretty crazy with kids. So thank you for making this an easy process! They used Woden crates which I liked because I knew that my valuable belongings were going to be safe and indeed they were! I've had experience with other companies that didn't do as good as a job so I will definitely be using this company again. Best part about our experience with this company was also the price. You can't beat the price with the care and professionalism we received. Thank you Kerb Local and Long Distance Movers. read more
