Oh my, this is my new favourite pizza. Franks is unbelievable. So sweet, with the honey and goat cheese and that sesame seed encrusted crust. Just wow. Margherita, also perfect, with the most amazing tomato sauce. Delivery was quick. Pizza came hot. Will definitely order from them again. read more

Did not realize that this location is production facility of Maker Pizza and there is no seating area. Picked up take out Dr.Pepperoni small size($27.12 inc. tax) and it was enough for two people. Took about 10 min on Saturday evening around 8pm, pizza served piping hot. First of all pizza crust was thin crust, crispy at the bottom & soft on top. Just right amount of tomato sauce. Quality of cheese & pepperoni were excellent. Loved the hint of fennel powder on my pizza as well. I watched this you tuber criticizing pizza dough to be too thick( almost like Puzza hut) but was not sure what happened? Was that you tuber crazy or was there an improvement with the pizza dough? Enjoyed Maker very much and will definately return to try other pizza. read more

Firstly, obviously the pizza is best in the city Secondly the staff is BEST in the City. I used app to order. I made a mistake by ordering the Napoli as I wanted spicy but meant to order Tropic Thunder as we only eat veggie pizza. When I got there they realized thr mistake since I asked them for onions only on half. (No onions on the Napoli) They asked if I wanted to make the Tropic Thunder and that it would be less than 10 minutes. So kind... Amazing service. While the pizza is expensive.... To preface, I'm more of a New York style, thin yet crunchy crust pizza kind of person. However, maker pizza makes an amazing Neapolitan pizza that deserves 5 stars. Service is pretty efficient and got the pizza nice and hot. Overall, the dough is thin and crispy but has a nice chew still - probably one of the best Neapolitan style pizza doughs I've had in Toronto. I like that they had the outer crust slightly risen for a cleaner experience yet the crust is still so delicious that it's easily finished. The So Mushroom pizza is topped to the brim with savory and earthy mushrooms, the garlic and basil stand out for the base pie flavor (this one is white base so no tomatoes) and the mascarpone is placed in strategic blobs to add a smooth, cheesy creaminess that contrasts the earthy mushrooms. The Napoli dynamite has amazing house made sausage that is meaty but not too salty. The green olives pack a bit of salt but adds a nice surprise with certain bites. I'm saying this even though I generally don't like olives. The pickled jalapeño adds some spice but because it's pickles, it's definitely toned down. I'd say if you like a little spice, don't be turned off because it says jalapeño, the spice level is definitely manageable! Price: It's definitely pricier than your typical chains like Pi Co or Blaze at around 20$ a small pizza but definitely worth it. Gather some friends and share a large (or two) and you'll definitely impress everyone there. read more

Maker pizza is doing pizza the right way. Chewy and soft crust and the best toppings. Their dipping is what really sets them apart, the chili oil garlic sauce is so goated. Though because it is more expensive than most pizza shops I only get it once in a while. I wish they had casual indoor seating since it takes up to 25 minutes to wait for an order. read more

Delicious pizza but damn is the price high. You're looking at spending about $60 for 2 12" pizzas with 2 sauces. The pizza is perfectly made NYC style. Thin and great crust. For someone who likes crust... This was heaven. The sauce was unreal. It's creamy garlic with chilli oil and when you mix it up you've got the best dip for your pizza. Definitely try tropic thunder and the Dr pepperoni. Yum. The first one is a bit soggy due to the onions and everything but still pretty good. This location is new and is just a place to order. No dine in, just pick up. You can call ahead - takes about 20-25min. Slow down when driving so you don't miss the entrance. They do have flags outside but keep a lookout! read more

This is the best pizza I've had in Canada! I got a 16" Frank's Best pizza and let me tell you - this was almost too good to be true. As someone who prefers a red sauce base, I was surprised at how flavourful and saucy the pizza was. All of the toppings worked so well together and they did not skimp on the honey drizzle. The sauces were great and very necessary when it got to the crust, which I found to be pretty dense and hard to chew. (So realistically I'd give this place a 4.5/5) But other than that, I have no complaints about this pie! read more

I've been a big fan of Maker Pizza for many years, and for the longest time, your only choice was the Cameron st. location, and that worked for me as i was in their delivery zone. But if you are out of that delivery area, you were out of luck, and out of luck indeed as this is in my opinion, just incredible pizza, it's my favorite pie in the city hands down. I was super excited to see a location open up near my girlfriend's place on Carlaw, but it also raised the question, is the Pizza as good as their original location? Are they able to reproduce that same magic that comes out of their Cameron st. location? Well that question was answered finally, i was concerned i may have over hyped the pizza to my girlfriend, but thankfully i was right, she loved it, she thought it was amazing pizza too. I have to say they produce the same quality pizza as they do at the original location, we had the Dr. pepperoni, it was fantastic, cooked perfectly, loaded with premium pepperoni, and that incredible crust, perfectly crispy, perfectly chewy, that fantastic sauce too, so good!! It's just an amazing pizza, yeah i know I'm gushing, and sure taste is subjective, but man this is sheer perfection in my opinion. We ordered the So Mushroom and the Napoli Dynamite 16" pizzas and they were both excellent. As a mushroom lover the mushroom one was my favourite --- it was so delicious. The chili infused pineapple on the Napoli Dynamite was really unique. If you love heat you'll love this one! The leoparding on the crust was impressive. read more

I was told this was the pizza of the gods. It was pretty good. I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. For comparison Pizza Nova is probably a 6-6.5 so I don't think lining up for Nova is crazy. Jerome is a bitch. read more

The support process felt automated, impersonal, and entirely focused on closing the complaint rather than addressing the issue. Despite providing details about the poor quality of the food, my concerns were not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. Customers order through delivery platforms expecting some level of protection when food arrives in unacceptable condition. In this case, neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats seemed willing to take responsibility. Poor food quality is one thing; poor customer service from both companies makes the experience far worse. I won't be ordering from Mandy's again, and this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Uber Eats as well.

The entire atmosphere was such a lovely and cozy vibe and our server was the sweetest and most welcoming person. We ordered spring rolls, green curry, panang curry, pad thai, pad see ew, and mango sorbet. Everything was soo delicious but my favorites have to be the pad see ew and the mango sorbet. The mango sorbet had a crunch from the peanuts with a balance of the sweeter flavors. I'd you're ever in the area, i can't recommended it enough!

It said established in 1919, so we thought it's a good sign it's been in business over a century; although not this location specifically. Their history in the 20th century was that they started in Berlin, Germany in 1919, but they were a Jewish family who ended up immgrating to Israel in 1933, opening their store there, and expanded locations throughout Israel. Their history in Toronto & North America (including some in the US) is much more recent since opening in 2017. Unfortunately, my closest is New York City; none in Maryland or DC area. This location is in busy downtown Toronto. We sat outside on their big patio area as the weather was warm and could enjoy the view of the buildings, people, cars, etc. Server was friendly answering our questions. I ended up getting an egg benedict with salmon in a croissant. It was creative and delicious take on egg benedict. The only issue was it was messy to eat in the croissant, but I didn't care as it was so delicious. My girlfriend got a Belgian waffle with blueberries, whipped cream, etc. It was unique and very good & sweet too as I tried a bite. This is why I'm giving it three stars -- I could have made a stink but didn't think it was necessary to do so. All in all -- I'd recommend this spot to folks but don't go there thinking the service will be great.

They also have alcohol (a few beers), and Mexican coke. There is also merch available if you want to show how much you love Slowhand pizza! There are no slices available and you do have to choose between the different kinds of pizzas (I don't think you are able to make your own pizza). I decided to try Slowhand Pizza recently as I saw that their feature pizza was with Est Restaurant (another business in Leslieville!). I preordered on Ambassador which was great since I could also choose my pick up date and time in advance. The feature pizza with Est Restaurant was called The B'est, which consisted of sourdough crust, black garlic aioli, house cheese blend, 12 hour braised beef, and caramelized onion, topped with est jus and parsley. I arrived at my pick up time where staff were friendly. My pizza was already made and ready for pick up which was great. I noticed that there is a small section in the restaurant if you'd like to have your pizza there. They also have a small patio at the front when the weather is warmer. In terms of the pizza, I ate it later that day. It was delicious! The braised beef was definitely the highlight of the pizza. Along with the caramelized onion and est jus, it was one tasty pizza. The pizza was also a good size where I could only finish 2 slices before getting full. Overall, a great option in the Leslieville area for Detroit-style pizza. The feature pizza I had was delicious and I hope to return to try their more popular pizzas next time!
