Well made! Super crispy thin bottom and airy crust with little pepperoni slices. Oily, cheesy, fresh, just what a good pizza should be! Easy to order and identify; they have an organized order system (with app or call) and they text you when it's ready. And the bright yellow and graphic lines makes it fast to spot! Only caveat is the price. It's $25 for a 12" pizza, which is double the price at a regular pizza joint. I guess you're paying for the ingredients (organic sauce and cheese).

The pizza here was really good! We came around 7pm on a Friday so it was super busy. We placed our order and waited about 30-40 mins for our pizzas. I recommend calling and ordering ahead! We got Frank's Best and the Napoli Dynamite. I loved the crust for Frank's Best. Our group was split on which pizza we liked the most but both were good.

Best crust in the city. Their cheese pizza was so delicious. And their sauces go perfectly with the pizza. The online system for ordering is quite helpful! I want to try the other toppings one day!

I've heard so many great things about Maker Pizza but unfortunately I wasn't mind-blown when I tried it. The pies appear to be marketed as gourmet (as reflected in their higher price points) but the dining atmosphere is catered more for takeout and fast casual. I appreciate that they have so many unique pie options that are all generously loaded with toppings, and I especially appreciate that they have "everything bagel crust" as an add-on because it was delicious, but I found that the crust was too hard and dry. I tried the Dr. Pepperoni and it was the bane of the roof of my mouth. While it goes without saying that pizza is best eaten fresh out of the oven, other brands tend to keep well after a few hours or even as next day leftovers. This is not the case here - since their crusts are already hard to begin with, they become even tougher after a short drive home or after delivery to a catered event. In my opinion, Maker Pizza could be a nice treat on a specific occasion where I can dine-in but it definitely isn't my go-to pizza place.

I went to go get a slice and they do not serve slices after 4pm so I had to buy a whole pizza instead. The dough was soft and the cheese was very chewy. It is very mediocre and not aristocratic at all. The service was friendly and nice. The ambiance was good but the food did not meet my expectations. It was expensive for the quality. Would not return.

Love Frank's Best! Love tropic thunder! Love the cookies! Amazing pizza! It is a little pricey, though. Also, I wish the delivery zones were a little bigger in the app. The customer service at this place is top notch! If I ever have an issue, they get back to me really quickly. If there's ever a problem they are great about making it right.

Drove by and my dad mentioned that the place has looked to be really busy for years, but haven't been, so we decided to try it. There are two sizes, small and large. The only one that can do half and half is the half margarita and half dr. Pepperoni. We ordered it right when they opened on a Sunday. Service: They are really friendly and quick. The pizza came out in 15 minutes, and they offer curbside pickup. Food: My mom and I really liked the margarita pizza. The pepperoni cups were crispy on the edges and just the right amount of grease, but I thought it's on the salty side. My dad liked both halves. I would come back again for the margarita pizza if I'm in the area.

Curb side pick up experience The staffs that I met during pick up were friendly and handled the order well. They were always on time for pick ups so I barely have to wait. I ordered Napoli Dynamite and Dr. Perroni Pizza (got one for free). The pizza itself is amazing!! Lovely soft but crunchy crust. Oowey goowey cheese and the toppings are hmmm hmmmm delicious!! Parking at the Avenue location is pretty good, free, and there is a decent amount of space. As a Registered Nurse, I recieved only one free maker pizza (don't forget to bring your badge). However, my review is not based on recieving free pizza but will be based on the quality of the food and overall experience. I recommend going here. And I will definitely keep ordering here.

I was craving pizza that had a decent crust and remembered that Maker Pizza now delivers through Uber Eats - great since we're trying to self-isolate. Although I was disappointed there weren't many options online at 5pm (all pizzas were sold out except for 4) and you could only order smalls, they luckily had what I wanted. My partner and I ordered a small Frank's Best and a small Dr. Pepperoni. A small has 4 large pieces each, so there's still plenty of food, but we usually try to have some leftover for the next day. The total came approximately $50 with tax and tip (no delivery fee). A little on the pricey side, but worth it. The Dr. Pepperoni and Frank's Best pair perfectly together with the former being quite salty, and the latter having a sweet taste. Can't wait to order again.

The dr. pepperoni pizza here is one of the BEST pepperoni pizzas I've had in Toronto. It's crispy, light and the crust is absolutely delicious. I love how you can change up the crust by adding sesame seeds or everything bagel seeds. They've also expanded to selling cookies and pizza dips too! A must-try for any pizza enthusiast.

It has a very homey, old-school Italian American restaurant ambience - the opposite of the stylish, hipster or touristy restaurant vibe. Apparently this restaurants gets a lot of regulars, and I could see why. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you're transported back to the 1960s with the red-and-white checkered tablecloths, red chairs, old-style wax candles, brick walls, and a large black-and-white photo of an Italian family on the wall (perhaps the founder or owner's?). I could see this place being a movie set for films that need an old, classic Italian American restaurant as a setting. In addition to the décor, I love the 1960s music being played in the background. Size-wise, the inside of the restaurant isn't that big so it feels very cozy. It can get very busy and crowded after 5 pm, as most people seem to come here for dinner. We came during lunch hour and we were the only patrons there. The southern Italian touches are very apparent in most of their dishes - with heavy reliance on olive oil, tomato-based sauces (especially in the fish and seafood dishes), fresh seafood, herbs, peppers, and vegetables such as eggplant. This is in contrast to northern Italian cuisine that is characterized by rich, creamy dishes using butter, lard, and cheeses, and puts more emphasis on rice, polenta, and meat-heavy dishes (where as seafood is more prevalent in the south). Dishes that we tried: 1) Baccala (Pan-Seared Black Cod) - This was the BEST and my favourite dish here. The black cod had a crispy exterior and flaky interior, and came with roasted mini potatoes and mixed vegetables (zucchini, red bell pepper, Brussels sprouts, eggplant) roasted with garlic -- such a well-rounded and wholesome dish. The roasted mini potatoes were so flavourful, and the vegetables had a nice char. I asked for the puttanesca sauce on the side, as the fish was already flavourful on its own without the sauce. But the sauce was better than I expected - it contained actual whole chunks of cherry tomatoes and olives. 2) Steamed Mixed Fish & Seafood in Tomato Sauce - This dish wasn't on the website menu, but it was on the printed menu in the restaurant. It reminded me of cioppino (Italian-American mixed seafood stew with tomato sauce, herbs, and spices). It came presented as wrapped inside aluminum tin foil, which the server then opened in front of us on the table with steam coming out. The fish was salmon, and seafood consisted of mussels and shrimps. This dish was just alright. For almost $50, there wasn't much seafood. 3) Pizza Funghi - I liked the very thin and crispy crust, and the sliced roasted mushrooms as toppings, but I wasn't a fan of the "truffled honey" they added on top of the pizza. I didn't taste any truffle, and the honey made it very sweet. Not a fan of sweet pizza. 4) SIDES: Rapini, Brussels Sprouts, Mushrooms - They got bonus points for being able to customize the sides. They didn't have asparagus that day, so they substituted it for steamed Brussels sprouts with garlic instead - which was heavenly. The Brussels sprouts weren't overcooked at all, and they were generous with the garlic (anything with extra garlic gets extra thumbs up from me). The rapini came out chopped with a side of lemon wedge. Mushrooms weren't on the menu as a side, but we asked and they were able to make a simple side of just mushrooms. Overall the vegetables got 9/10. The chef was very friendly as he came out and talked to us. The server was extremely attentive. Great service overall.

Nice local Italian restaurant that is enjoyed by us locals as well as those who come down for shows…read moreat the St Lawrence ctr for the arts and the Meridian Hall as well as sports fan here for games. They have a great stock of wines and an impressive drink list that we don't get to enjoy as we can't handle drinks these days. We do enjoy the food and the friendly service immensely tho. Lots of options for shareable apps; excellent options on pizzas and pastas; and I am always impressed with their mains (as someone that has to limit carbs, options can be limited at some Italian restos). They are also understanding of reasonable diet requests. They have gluten-free options as well. It is more of a "quiet" restaurant in terms of the clientele chatter, at least for the times I was there, so I can hear the music they play ("oldies"!!!!)
