Yes, I recommend Make It Cute! I moved to Pasadena recently and was looking for a new groomer in the area. I found Make It Cute through Yelp and decided to try it. I've taken my 2-year old Pomeranian twice. Once for a bath and the second time for a haircut. I was very happy with the results both times. A few things to note: 1. Booking is mostly done through text. The groomer is very responsive, but does get booked. Plan to make your appointment at least a week ahead of time. They are closed Wednesday and Thursday every week. 2. During both grooming appointments, I received pictures of my dog. The groomer is also very informative. Any time I have a concern, she takes the time to explain things. 3. Grooming location is at a home. I was skeptical at first, but it's legit. There is always parking right out front. 4. Prices are pretty standard. 5. Make sure to share any concerns you have about your dog before leaving them with the groomer. That's something that will help the groomer and your dog. For example, I learned my dog is very sensitive in certain areas of his body so I made sure to share that with the groomer. 6. Groomer is super nice! read more

Mariia is so wonderful! We've been going to her the last couple of months. She has great communication from making the appointment, drop off, and pick up. She adapts to your requests without hesitation or judgement. My dog goes hiking and does a lot of outdoor activities. I try my best to comb him out but his doodle hair catches on burrs and seeds like no tomorrow. After each time with Mariia, he always comes out smelling so good and feeling so soft and fresh. Even after a full week-2 weeks of romping on the trails, he still looks really good! read more

I was fostering a dog who was matted and dirty, and who I was very quickly trying to find the best home for. Mariia squeezed me in next day and did an incredible job on Lexie girl! She got adopted the next day! Mariia has a very calm demeanor and I felt very comfortable leaving lexie with her. I love that it's in a residential spot and not in a big pet store with lots of kennels and such. We have another groomer that we've used for a while but it's challenging to book w him, but after my seamless experience with Mariia, I've decided to use her as our groomer too for our two dogs! read more

I've been bringing Gucci with Maria since he was 4 months my baby is almost 1 in December. She is an amazing groomer, I definitely feel comfortable leaving Gucci with her She gets back to you super fast and sends you updates through out your babies appointment !! She makes sure you are satisfied with the haircut. I've also brought my Moms doggie with Maria. We had been taking him to Petco and we would notice that he would always come back anxious and fearful or would pull away every time we entered the store. He's been with Maria once and the time that he went he didn't come back with those signs, so that's when I knew I was at the right place. As a new pet parent I wanted my fur baby to have an amazing experience without trauma, where he would be well taken care of. I have made the right choice with Maria!! read more

Mariia of Make it Cute is just the best. She is kind, and so sweet that my dog, Chewie, just loves her. Chewie is a big standard poodle and he doesn't love all groomers. He didn't like going to his last groomer--he wouldn't even get out of the car. He was cooperative but clearly didn't want me to leave him. So I was delighted to find Mariia. Chewie willingly gets out of the car and doesn't even look back. Plus, he comes out gorgeous! Mariia takes her time and does such a terrific job. I highly recommend her. Hurry, she's the best kept secret in town! read more

Loved our first groom with Make It Cute! Mariia went above and beyond for our girl Poppy, we loved the Live Photo update to see how she was getting on, and the final photo with her new trim was precious, plus we got to keep the festive bandana! She asked us what kind of service we required and did exactly as we asked, and getting all her nails trimmed (which is hard as she is quite stubborn about it and her dew claws are teeny tiny!) Highly recommend and will definitely become regulars at Make It Cute. Also the online booking process was so easy, so many groomers are so difficult to get hold of so really appreciated that from the start! read more

Just like the name says, she will make your puppy cute! I came to Mariia for the first time today with my 5 month old Maltese that I just got yesterday. I had an idea in mind for how I wanted him to look and Mariia made it happen. She made him cuter than I imagined. I am beyond happy with the service I received. I love the idea that she gives your puppy one on one individual time, she provides updates throughout the grooming process and she actually takes the time to go above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied. I definitely will continue coming to Make It Cute for all of my puppy grooming needs. read more

I have been looking for a new groomer for my 14 year old senior dog for a long time. She is not very friendly with strangers and gets very stressed every time I used to take her to get groomed. I found Make It Cute through a referral by a friend and was ready to try a new place. Maria was very friendly and immediately knew how to gently handle my moody dog. When I picked up my dog she looked better than ever. Her coat was soft and smooth and cut evenly. I will definitely be taking my dog back again. We had our standard poodle groomed for the first time at "Make It Cute". It was a great experience and we'd definitely go back.

Maria was amazing with our yorkie pup. This was his first time getting groomed and he was already scared since his sister ginger didn't go with him. Maria made him feel comfortable and it definitely shows in the end result. He was a new puppy after. Happy and excited to go home and show off his new look. We have already made our next appointments for both of our fur babies. We will be sending our friends and family to Maria as she is wonderful with dogs. Thank you for making my day! read more

My partner found this place through Yelp and I'm so happy with the service! Maria responded to my text super quickly and was very thorough and responsive. She was willing to let me drop by really quick before our actual appointment to get one of the pom's butts shaved since it was getting nasty and stressing her out, and Maria didn't charge me for it. Very communicative, transparent, and did an amazing job with these two! Thank you again Maria, they look and feel so much better than when they started and we're looking forward to seeing you again soon! read more
