I'm so late to leave this review, but these folks deserve every one of their stars. The security I feel with our doors is amazing. They're also so beautiful and not like those tacky iron security doors. The view from inside is so transparent, it took a few days for my chihuahua to stop running into it (which was kind of funny to him and us). The only downside is waiting 6-8 weeks for your order to be custom made! But you get what you pay for and I'm grateful for every penny I spent on these. Expensive, yes. Worth it, 10000%. Spoke to Beth yesterday morning inquiring about a quote for our security screen doors. Said she would update me with a quote and never heard from her since. No replies to email, nothing. Spoke with other companies and they've all quoted me within two hours or the day. Edit- You're right. She stated in our email at 9:46am that "if your tech feels he can work with it, she'll call me with pricing." So if your tech said no, she wouldn't call or email me back? Just had a Majestec dual sliding security screen door (with the upgraded mesh) installed to secure a laundry room at an apartment building. Very happy with the finished product: easy to lock/unlock, slides like butter, very secure. Surprised how easy it is to turn the key even with the 3 point locking system. Doesn't require the latching handle like the doors. The process went smooth even with C-19. Worked with Beth to schedule, and met Roman to obtain the quote and handle the install (2 hours). Update: After having my front and back door screens installed I decided to do the whole house. Last week we had the last screens installed and they look great. Majestec Premium Security Screens just finished my door installs today. I got the front and back door done. Front door had a sidelight that I also had covered. I must say I am very impressed and glad I waited for these doors... they look AMAZING. They were custom made and moved the Majestec door handle up a bit higher so it wouldn't interfere with our front door hardware. Jeremy did a great job measuring everything, explaining how the doors work, how they are made and the possible options for the install. The worst part was waiting for the doors after we placed our order. The anticipation of getting a breeze through our house and being able to leave the doors open. It didn't help reading on Nextdoor how there were neighbors having their front doors kicked in when they weren't home. This made me really want to get these on quickly. These screens give me the peace of mind knowing my wife can open the door if someone knocks and not worry about someone rushing in. You could get the same peace of mind with those iron security doors from Home Depot, but those start to look bad after a couple years. These Majestec doors look clean. The install took about 4 hours for both doors. There was some buildup of the existing front door that Jeremy did to make everything fit flush. It took three hours for the front door and sidelight, one hour for the back door. Jeremy cleaned up when done and it looked like no one was even there. read more

Where should I start. All I can say is WOW! I first looked at all the videos Jason had on you tube. I was looking for security for my windows and doors. I had no idea they made such security screens. I first called their 800 number and spoke to a very polite man who helped me get information and prices. I made an appointment and JED came to my house to get precise measurements of my windows. They are a little pricey but when you see what advantages they give you , it's worth it. I got 11 windows with their security screens (first time I got 6 then later I got the last 5 done). I even did the bathroom window. Let me tell you, not only were they very professional but they made sure I was happy with the results. JED did an excellent job putting each window up and making sure it look good. He even caulked each window for the small gaps that was left between the window and window frame. It looked beautiful. Let me tell the advantages of these windows that sold me. 1. The screens are metal, not your usual screen mesh that is easy to break through 2. The screens block out 60% of the suns rays and uv light. That means your house will be a lot cooler than without the security screens 3. If anything was thrown on your security screens, windows or doors, it will not do any damage because they have a high resistance to pressure. I can rest assure that nothing will break my windows from the outside. 4. The screens give plenty of air flow when you leave the windows open. You can rest assure that no one will be able to break into your windows easily. I leave them open often to give fresh air and not worry about break ins. 5. These screens you cannot see in during the day but from the inside we can see very clearly outside. They are awesome. 6. Last, they come with a 10 year warranty against rust for the screens. I truly believe they will last a lot longer than that. I do not live in a bad neighborhood but I have the added safety of knowing that i will be safe inside and can NOW have air flow in my house. We had Majestec install security screens at our home one month ago and couldn't be happier. Jeremy was our installer and, as other reviews state, he is fantastic and a skilled professional. We researched window-security options for nearly a year and realized there were many options and the project would be expensive. It was intimidating. We liked the fact that they are a licensed contractor and a local business (Redondo Beach) that we could support. Communication was fantastic. I was in search of a Nice Looking Security Screen Door. My first stop was The Home Depot. Although they did have security doors, I was looking for more of a custom fit door. I did further research online, that is when I came across Majestec Premium Security Screens. I gave them a call and spoke with Beth. She explained that this would be a Custom Fit Door! Jason came to my house and took all the measurements. Note: This door is made in Thailand and takes about 5 to 6 weeks for delivery. My order was put in on Sept. 11, 2018 The door was installed on Nov 5, 2018 By Roman. It took Roman about an hour for the install which went smoothly. This is not your typical Security Door install. I'm glad I left the installation up to the professionals. This door is also Beautiful!!! It's only been a week and I'm already getting Compliments from my neighbors. Thrilled with service and product. I wanted to be able to open a downstairs' patio door and window to have air flow and yet feel safe, even sleeping with them open, but I didn't want ugly bars. After a lot of research, I went with Majestec's screens. Their service (returning calls, showing up to discuss, explanations of the product) was best from the two other companies I consulted. Price... they were the same as one and a tiny bit less than another. There is a wait for the product to be manufactured, but well worth it to me. Installation was smooth and fast. Jason and his assistant were very courteous. The product? Very nice - clean and simple looking. Locks seem as strong as as locks can get. I was afraid the screens would be too darkening, but truly, only if you're right on top of it do you see a difference from a regular screen. A foot or two away, and you can't tell the difference. The frames are a little larger than our windows, but aesthetically, still pleasing. I'll take these little differences for safer windows over bars any day. read more

I could not be happier with the screen doors and window screens I had installed by Magestec. I started with the french door screens, as the strength of regular french doors is generally weak. we live by the beach and don't have air conditioning, and we were able to sleep in front of the screened in doors on very hot days all summer.
