On the day of installation, he and his son showed up exactly when they said they would and absolutely hit it out of the park. The whole process was painless, fast, and the end result looks fantastic. We started with two sliding doors and two small windows, and the difference is unbelievable. These new windows completely changed the look and feel of our place! Who would've thought windows could make such a big impact? Every time I walk by them, I catch myself just admiring how clean and modern they look. Not to mention, the father-and-son duo were incredibly considerate and made little to no mess! They laid down tarps to protect our floors, and their overall cleanliness was impressive -- something I always worry about when getting work done around the house. Bonus points for that! The quality and workmanship impressed me so much that I already scheduled Luis to come back three days later to measure the remaining six windows. Our old ones were original from the 1950s, so this upgrade feels long overdue, and now I want them all done asap! Highly recommend! Great communication, punctual, and affordable!

We had our windows replaced by LMR Windows and Glass Doors last week…read more I contacted several window companies in the area and had 7 bids for the project. As many homeowners will realize, there are a few things to consider when replacing windows. Some companies will take their measurements and give an old fashioned sales pitch. Luis at LMR Windows is straightforward and earnest with his estimate, I did not feel pressured by him and could tell that he is glad to help prospective customers. After a couple of phone conversations and 2 visits to my home to review the project/measure the windows, I settled on Luis' bid. He offered fair pricing (competitive when compared against other companies in the area). Throughout the process, Luis provided periodic updates on the status of the window order and once the window manufacture completion date was confirmed, he offered quick availability for installation. We had a total of 16 units installed at our home, including 2 sliding doors. Luis works with his son, Sebastian, who is not only skilled at what he does - but also very polite and respective of other peoples' home. The guys completed the job in 2 days and cleaned up at the end of each day. I am pleased with the quality of work - the windows have been sealed nicely and professionally. I have referred Luis and Sebastian to family already. I will gladly work with LMR Windows again in the future! Some photos of the finished windows are included in this review for anyone wondering how the final product looks.

The closet doors came out absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall finished look are just amazing. I honestly don't have enough good things to say about Luis and his work. When you find someone this skilled, reliable, and consistent, you keep their number! Three years later, I still highly recommend Handy Door Man.

Highly recommend for Door installations, really knows his stuff!…read more Luis and his team did an excellent job, and consistently went the extra mile. They expertly drilled and hung my new modern front door ("blank" mahogany wood, purchased through Home Depot and installed in a pre-existing frame), including a Schlage Encode smart lock. He had all the right equipment to shave it on the sides, and the door hangs perfectly open midway. They installed 2 spring hinges to auto-close, plus weatherstripping, and when there was a small issue with the weatherstripping, he came back two weeks later free of charge and swapped out for an alternative solution. As a bonus, when I asked him for guidance regarding an unrelated window situation and was prepared to pay him to help me solve it, he immediately diagnosed why the window was stuck: the wood windowsill had swollen and was pressing against the window frame, causing the window to not slide easily. He removed the window and helped me repair the situation: something others wanted to charge hundreds of dollars to diagnose and fix! (And he later said "no charge".) Furthermore, as he moved through my house, he happened to notice that some of my inside-door hinges had popped up: told me what causes that, and told me HOW to easily fix it. (PLUS, why I would be smart to tap them down with a hammer myself instead of ignoring it.) Just because he's a nice guy. The man has an eye for door issues, and he is very generous in spirit. He seems to like what he does and genuinely cares about the customer. The cost he quoted over the phone for installing the front door and weatherstripping is exactly what he charged. There were no surprises. And just as importantly, for me: he was able to fit me in on a tight timeline so that I could coordinate with my painter and other contractors to meet the ideal overall project schedule I needed. It's so hard to find someone who is both available on a flexible timeline, and actually good at what they do. 5 Stars PLUS.

Then he changed his mind, saying that if I took measurements of the window and sent him photos, then he could give me an estimate on the spot--and if I agreed with the price--that his visit the next day would be to do the actual repair. And so just like that, the window was repaired less than 24 hours after it broke (and I didn't have to tell any neighbors the story behind it breaking). Ramon's an interesting guy, and unlike some contractors, he says he loves small jobs and working on historic homes with wood window frames. So if that describes your situation, don't hesitate to call him.
