To call our sliding glass door sliding is generous at best. We've been using brute force to drag it open and shut for too long. The wheels had given up. We found Mica on Yelp and he communicated well. His price was fair. His workmanship was excellent and we are happy with the job he did. We now have new rollers on the bottom of our door and it truly slides with just a finger. We have no hesitation recommending him. read more

Mica came out within a few days and within seconds identified the problem and fixed it He was responsive and on time. Very honest as well. Rare find this day and age. read more

Great, quick and knowledgeable service. Both our sliding glass door and screen door work so smoothly now. The glass door would barely open using much force and now glides with one finger! read more

The service is great. I was able to book an appointment to have the issues being looked at in a timely manner. After that, a quote was provided. They cant repair it on the same day due to need to order the parts. After parts arrived, it was fixed quickly. Thank you for your help. read more

Prices reasonable. Three sliding doors repaired. Will hire again if/when needed. Mica was honest when I asked about additional repairs, he said that they wouldn't be worth it (rather than charging me to do more work). read more

Excellent sliding door repair! Spends time ensuring that door and screen are working perfectly. Made several adjustments. Great job!

I called Mica for my rental property, which had an old exterior sliding door that was crooked and not locking properly. He was quick to reply and was able to stop by the same day. After assessing the situation he gave me a call to give the diagnosis and pricing. I had another estimate scheduled in the week so I told him I'd get back to him. But after I hung up and was reviewing his profile to the other company's, I realized the other was a general handyman vs. "Sliding Door Repair" specific, and I just liked his overall attitude and vibe. I called him back maybe 20 minutes later and asked if he had already left, to which he had. I said that I wanted to move forward with him and that we could schedule another day, but he said he would go back and fix it after we hung up. I had a lot going on at the time and I think he could tell I was just working on autopilot, so he was super kind and chill about the inconvenience. He went back to the property and was in and out in under an hour, and the tenants were very happy. This was probably the easiest and smoothest project I've dealt with, so thank you Mica! Highly recommend! read more

We adopted a rescue pup and grew tired of getting up and down to let her into the enclosed backyard. I didn't find much about doggie door installation anywhere but found Sliding Door Repair on Yelp with many positive reviews. All I knew was I would not be happy with the extension type doggie for safety and aesthetics. When contacted to see if they could help us they came out right away, on time and we're so very nice and professional. They had several options for us to choose from which was so appreciated. We ended up with both a sliding glass door with a doggie door and a screen replacement with a doggie door. Andrew assisted us throughout the process from purchase to installation. His professional behavior and amazing knowledge of the products is impressive. We have grids on current sliders and he was able to order just the right side door with the doggie door so it saved us some money. The grids match perfectly as do the shade of the glass. He even helped our pup to go through the doors the first time! Above and beyond. Thank you for the great service. As you can see from the pictures it looks great! We will use Sliding Door Repair when needed again and I highly recommend this company and Andrew! read more

Replaced the door wheels and now my door can roll and lock. All while on the balcony in a semi narrow space!

I wish all service experiences were this good. I clicked the "request a quote" button from Yelp, and got a response within a few hours. Mica called and we agreed on a convenient time. I believe he said that he'd provide a quote when he saw the door. On the agreed day, he texted 20 minutes in advance of the appointment saying he would be there at exactly the time we planned. He called (it's a rental and I was not there) 5 minutes later with a diagnosis and a very fair price. I okayed the work, and 35 minutes later he texted saying the work was done. Within a couple of hours a invoice arrived via text, which I was able to pay via Apple Pay. Both the door and the experience were frictionless and very professional. The only strange part of the experience had nothing to do with Sliding Door Repair Solutions. During the "request a quote" process, I was 95% certain that I made the selection for no other vendors to get in touch. Shortly thereafter, I got unwanted calls, texts, and emails from other providers. It was a little confusing at first because I had moved on to other things and didn't recall the name of Mica's company. Fortunately those messages stopped within a couple of days. read more

Mica was great! Came in and fixed our sliding door very quickly. It was getting stuck when we opened/closed it and he fixed the wheels, realigned the door so the front wheels did not drag on the ground and replaced a locking mechanism for us. Highly recommend! read more

Mica was awesome. It was an easy fix but still, appreciated his expertise and advice. And love that he can come over within the hour and deal with it. read more

My wife got something stuck between the slider and the fixed window, and as it's a 10' door, I'm unable to lift it. I called and left a voicemail. Mica called back shortly and gave me a quote on the phone. Very reasonable, and he was able to come out the next day. He called with an ETA and was there on time. It was a minor issue for him and it only took about 10 minutes, but that's why you call a professional. So, whatever your needs regarding siding doors, call Mica and support a local, family-owned business. Highly recommended. read more

Mica was referred to me to fix a large sliding glass door. He was MOST helpful. Our door had been redone by careless investors who cut corners and made odd changes. He was able to troubleshoot & fix everything even though it was not 100% turnkey. He sourced a track & hardware and checked in on pricing at every step to ensure it worked with our budget. He arrived on time and had great recommendations on how to keep it clean. We really appreciate Mica and would recommend him to anyone moving forward! read more

Great experience using Sliding Door Repair Solutions! We were considering replacing our sliding doors since they had become difficult to open. After a couple of high priced estimates for new doors, we decided to have them repaired and "tuned up". Mica communicated well, was on time and did great work at a fair price. The doors now work perfectly. Highly recommended company. read more

Mike came on by and our door was just off its track. He reset it and told us the door was gtg. Took him 10 seconds. Didn't charge us anything. That was awesome though it emasculated me a bit as I messed with it for a bit and couldn't reset it. Thx! read more

It is approaching summer and I thought it was time to fix my slider. I called Mica and we arranged a time for an estimate. He did mention that he most often has parts with him and would be able to do the repair the same day. I appreciated the one stop appointment. As promised, he called me 25 minutes before arrival. I was given an estimate, which I thought was a little high, but gave him the approval to do the job (fix slider and replace the screen on the outside door). He worked for a good 2 plus hours. He cleaned out my years of caked on dirt in the tracks. I was very surprised at how efficiently he tackled the job. I do not have any comparison since this is the first time I've had the door maintained in 30 years. I had called a few other companies. A larger company declined my job but did give me a referral to Mica. Another company put me on a long hold while they "found" someone to talk to me...I hung up. I had an opportunity to talk to Mica and found out he is an independent self employed company that specializes only in sliders (closet and glass) and screen doors. I charged this job. It was worth the cost to get this job done immediately. The door slides just as easily (maybe even more so) than when it was new years/decades ago. Thank you Mica for being an honest businessman. read more
