really disappointed with their approach for business. I called the business for a Front entry door fiberglass with sidelite, talked to Calvin i was told he is the owner. So i decided to visit the store , Calvin was not available so i talked to their associate - John. He gave me a catalog to select what I want, a day later i gave him my choices and he said he will get back to me on the price but they don't do installations. I tried to find my own installer. Next thing i call to followup wouldn't pick my calls and finally he picks up and says don't involve me in this. He said, you are involving Korean, Vietnamese, Indian and white Really ? is this how a businessmen think here? really disgusted with his comment and thought process. As a normal customer i tried to look for what i wanted and he straight away rejected the potential business and said above comments. Absolutely 5 stars. I had a 'solid oak' door installed a little over 3 years ago. This is the door that leads to the garage from the back yard. With repeated rains, the door kept getting warped and eventually the bottom gut fell out. I called Calvin and he told me it should've lasted longer. Come to find out, I was sold an interior door instead of an exterior door. Calvin told me the new doors are made of fiberglass on the outside. His two installers came and they worked really hard. Really professional and the door looked amazing. They even sealed the bottom with polyurethane and sealed some cracks at the bottom of my homes foundation. I highly recommend them. read more

I really would like to give this company a negative 5 for there terrible customer service, but I will settle for a 1. I called them a week ago to schedule an appointment to come out and measure for folding patio doors in a commercial building. They explained I would receive a call back to set the appointment. Well that didn't happen. So the next week I call back and explained what happened and I was assured a guy would call me back. Well I waited that day and half of the next day, and still no call. So I call them and explain the terrible cuatomer service I have received and really the guy was very silent. I explained my job is approximately $40,000 and maybe they are doing so well they don't need my job. I wished them good luck, because they are gonna need it. If they continue to treat customers or maybe it is just women this way they won't be in business long. Communication with Calvin was great in the beginning, and then tapered off as it took an entire YEAR to get my door. Understand supply chain issues/things happen as a result of the pandemic but I ordered doors in February of 2022. Doors didn't arrive until February 2023. And even, they weren't what I originally wanted. I had to get new doors due to the originals being defective and not passing his QA inspection TWICE which it took 8 weeks each time to get a replacement. This could easily have been an error on the supplier but it was absolutely a headache waiting and waiting and following up constantly. The second option, fiberglass doors, were finally picked up and installed by coastal's recommended contractor and even then it took over 1.5 months for him to complete. Came to install the doors, waited for a replacement piece and then 1.5 months later, it's finally painted and done. Really was way too long of a process for door installation from beginning to end. I was remodeling my bathroom and had an idea of what kind of door that I wanted and had a hard time finding one that looked to be of good quality online and at Home Depot and such.
